Extremely clean 1987 Chevy 3500 dually flat bed that was a firetruck. Always stored inside, no rust. I bought this at a auction without any bed and bought a Military 2 1/2 from a local fire department that put a water tank on their truck. I have around 2500.00 in the bed alone. This truck was a rescue brush truck that was used by a small Iowa town until retired. It had a cabinet body on it that was re used on the new replacement truck. This truck has 7 new tires, with 2000 miles, has been tuned up and runs and drives excellent. It stays in my shop and I have gone to swap meets buying and selling used parts for old cars. I was going to use it for a parts hauler, but many times I have to get off road in old junk yards and I can't bring myself to scratch and ding this truck up. The interior is clean but has mounting holes in dash and floor where fire dept. radios and such were installed. Pictures tell the story. It does have scratches and small dings from use, but is nice. 1984 Chevrolet M1028 5/4 ton CUCV with 9ft Reading utility bed Clear Kansas Title 36,729 miles at the time of the pictures. Still on factory system -TH400 3 speed automatic, shifts through all gears fine, no slipping - New fluid and filter -NP208 2 speed (high/low) chain driven transfer case. Shifts through all ranges fine. -Dana 60 front axle. -4.56 gears -Trac-lok limited slip differential -all tie rods are nice and tight as are the wheel bearings- drive shaft and axle shaft u-joints in good shape -Warn Style 3/4 turn lock outs -Corporate 14 bolt rear axle, -4.56 Gears -Detroit locker -New gear oil Rear drive shaft u-joints are good as well. -Emergency brakes work -Service brakes work great. 1984 Chevy K30 Custom Deluxe.454 engine.4 wheel drive.SHORT BED.If your looking for a clean truck than look no further. The body and underside are in awesome shape. No rust on body or patch panels. Very original truck.From what I was told this truck came from California as a goverment / dnr truck.The title does say California but I cannot prove anything else.This truck has been sitting for at least a few years. I put fresh gas in it and it fired up. No smoke, knocks, ect. The truck will obviously need a tune up. Only the right rear brake is working so I am not sure whats going on there. Brake lines look like new and the fluid is full.The original color was a yellow/green as you can see in the under hood photos. Its now in black primer. (it was raining which is why the paint looks wet) The interior is in rough shape. Will need new floor coverings, seat cover, dash pad. ect. Floor boards are original and like new. Sliding rear window.I only drove this truck around my driveway due to brake issue. Trans and 4x4 seems fine. I have no knowledge of any drive train work performed in the past. Overall this is one very, very solid truck. Make no mistake it will need work to be road worthy but well worth it.I do not have the grill or bumpers. However there are some extra parts in the cab and box that will go with it. Inspections and questions before you offer please. Sold AS IS. If you buy it bring a trailer and cash. Thanks AgainTim

This truck starts, runs, sounds, drives, and rides like new! Truck has a fresh professional paint job that shines beautifully, and the frame has been painted as well. This is a fresh build that is done right and ready for years of service. I purchased this truck directly from a local small town volunteer fire dept. where the truck spent most all of its life stored inside and was used as a pumper truck. The owner of the truck verified the mileage and history of the truck since they purchased it new in 1978. However, the title says mileage exempt because license branch wouldn't except the way the paperwork was filled out. I included a before pic to show condition of truck before it was repainted. These trucks are hard to find in this condition and the pics of the truck can speak for themselves. This truck is not a bondo patch job, it is a super solid classic workhorse that has been stored in out of the elements for 30+ years. I have put 1,000 miles on this truck and it is rock solid. No leaks. Transmission and clutch feel like brand new. 4X4 works flawlessly. The only thing I know of that the truck needs is the blower motor control linkage is loose and does not change speeds. Heat works great. Also, there is still some wiring under the hood from the pumper body that could be removed but is not hurting anything, and the truck is equipped with a master disconnect switch behind the driver door to power the truck completely down. This could be changed easily but works well how it is. I have a lot of money in this truck so I will not take low ball offers, but will consider reasonable offers. Thanks for looking. 1985 Chevrolet M1008 5/4 ton CUCV 58,962 miles. -6.2L J series diesel engine., runs very well - New oil and filter - New air filter - New fuel filter -New belts - New radiator hoses and heater hoses - New Anti-Freeze -A/C Delco 60G Glow plugs. Still on factory system -TH400 3 speed automatic, shifts through all gears fine, no slipping, New fluid and filter -NP208 2 speed (high/low) chain driven transfer case. Shifts through all ranges fine. no leaks - New fluid - New rear out put shaft seal -Dana 60 front axle. -4.56 gears-all tie rods are nice and tight as are the wheel bearings- drive shaft and axle shaft u-joints in good shape -Warn Style 3/4 turn lock outs -Corporate 14 bolt rear axle, -4.56 Detroit locker -New gear lube -New wheel seals Rear drive shaft u-joints are good as well. -Emergency brakes work -Service brakes work great -New rear shoes and 70%+ on front pads. - 4 New Monroe heavy duty gas shocks -Tires are NEW Cooper Mastercraft Courser MXT 285/75R16 (33x11.50) Load range E mounted on New Ion Alloy 16x8 wheels. Does have a spare on a factory rim. IT is not a matching tire , but has lots of tread left. The truck is still on the factory 24/12V hybrid set up. -Alternators charge fine -2 new batteries- Heavy Duty group 31 -All service lights work as the should -left rear blackout marker light is inop, the other three work fine Grille mounted blackout drive light is missing. I can include one if the buyer wants one -All gauges and dummy lights work. - All glass is in good condition. Front windshield has been replaced with one that has the top shaded. - Both door windows roll up and down nice and smooth . -The doors open and close nicely as well. -Wiper motor works on both speeds, washer pump does not currently. New one is on order -Blower motor works fine on all speeds. Heat only ...NO A/C. The CUCV's never had A/C. I can install it though. -Horn works -The dash pad is in great shape. -Seat is in great condition -There are a few dings. See pics. -There are 5 holes that have been filled with silicone in the roof.- There is rust starting in the cab corners. -The frame and under carriage are very clean. -The truck was rust proofed by the military. Most is still intact. The inner fender coating has peeled and the rear inner fenders have several rock chips in the coating There are a few spots on the frame that has peeled as well. 1972 Chevrolet C30 Long Horn 4x4 Pickup Truck, Four Wheel Drive, Custom Deluxe 30 one ton pickup. Very heavy duty running gear. Original paint. Runs as good as it looks. Please read the entire description and check out all the pictures. See below for a link to additional photos. Current mileage is 107800 original miles. I have owned the truck since 1975. Clear title in hand. Truck is factory two tone White over Chevy Orange. Stored indoors. This is the original paint, even in the bed. Truck has factory power steering and power brakes, factory air conditioning, factory tilt wheel, quad shocks front and rear, extra heavy duty suspension and sway bars, full instrumentation including tachometer (photo), interior, dash and glove box are in great shape. Engine: 454 Big Block Chevrolet + .030 with Keith Black Silv-O-Lite popup pistons, I believe 10 to 1 compression ratio, runs fine at my altitude (5000 feet) but will need octane booster at lower altitudes, has about 40000 miles on it since being rebuilt 20 years ago at Carson Truck & Auto Repair (www.ctar.us). Quadrajet carb is a later model style with an electric choke mounted on a cast iron, GM high performance high rise intake manifold. Starts easy and runs very strong. Always stored indoors. Every few months I drive it a few miles but other than that I don't think I've put more than 1000 miles on it in the last 20 years. The original engine was a 402 big block. You will enjoy driving this truck. Transmission: Turbo 400 (TH400) three speed automatic with shift kit and many heavy duty parts. Shifts very firm, has dual apply forward and direct clutches (ask your favorite transmission guy), blocked accumulators and 5 plate clutch packs and a factory deep pan. Transfer case: NP205 gear drive transfer case with manual locking hubs. This truck was originally a two wheel drive truck. I converted it to four wheel drive in the mid eighties using then current production factory parts. It has about 50k miles on it since then. Current mileage is 107767 original miles. Front Differential: Dana 44 with heavy duty open carrier, 4:10 ratio. Front disc brakes. Welded on truss bar. Front heavy duty sway bar. Rear Differential: Factory Corporate 14 bolt with a Detroit Locker. 4:10 ratio. Rear drum brakes, 3 inch. Welded on truss bar. This rear end was installed in the mid 1990's and was current production at that time. Since this truck carried a camper it has a very heavy duty sway bar on it (photo). These sway bars were used on GM class A P37 motorhomes. Body is in very good condition. This is a Long Horn edition (google it or go to LongHornTrucks.freeservers.com/index.html ), a very limited production model. Also has the side bed tool box, another fairly rare accessory. Always garaged. The paint is 100% original, including the painted wood bed. There is one small dent on the hood (photo) and some damaged paint on the driver's door due to resting my arm on it with the window down. The bed is in very good condition, partly because it had a camper on for the first 100k miles. The tires have about 50% tread and don’t leak but are very old and should probably not be considered road worthy. All gauges work. NO TAILGATE. This is a Long Horn edition (google it), a very limited production model. The truck had add-on electric window motors installed when I got it, I removed them back in the mid 1970's but you can see that the inner door trim was trimmed to accommodate them. Please notice the trim marks and screw holes around the window crank area on both doors. Front seat was reupholstered also. Original seatbelts are kind of dirty looking (photo) and have been removed but are included with hardware and are white in color to match the original front seat. The radio, steering wheel and rear window glass are not original. There are also some areas (edges) on the body where the paint has been rubbed through by washing and waxing, most notably on the hood and around the wheels (photos). On the hood there are two bolts where a hood ornament used to be and 4 bolt holes below the windshield where shock absorbers were mounted for the camper (photo). The truck has three fuel tanks; the OEM tank behind the seat, an aux tank in front of the left rear tire under the bed and a custom tank installed in the bed. The fill spout for the tank in the bed is mounted through the side of the bed while the other aux tank fills inside the left rear wheel well. The manual fuel tank selector valve is on the floor inside the cab on the left of the driver's seat (photo).
