Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to offer a 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Resto Mod. This is a beautiful 1956 Chevy resto mod that has had a full frame off rotisserie restoration. It has a big block 454 that has been completely rebuilt ,with exhaust manifolds and 2 Yi inch exhaust all the way back. The Bel Air has a 700R4 overdrive trans correctly built to go behind the Big Block 454. The body was about 95% rust free before the restoration. That being said all original body panels still on the car, there were none that were replaced during the build. The outside chrome and stainless is either new or been polished to show quality. The bumpers are original and have been rechromed. The interior was completely reupholstered with some upgrades added. Options included: 454 Cl BBC 375HP, 700R4 Transmission, tilt steering, AM/FM digital radio, Electric wipers, all new wiring with fuse panel upgrade, 4 wheel disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, front and rear sway bars, rear traction bars and torsion bar, adjustable springs, Tubular front upper and lower control arms, rear leaf springs have been moved to the inside of the frame pockets to allow for wider tires. There was no expense spared on this build, underside of the car is just as nice as the outside of the car. Frame was sandblasted and powder coated, with all new brake and fuel lines.
