This 1990 chevy 454 SS truck was locally owned here in northeast Iowa and traded in from the previous owner as he could not drive any longer. This truck was pampered by the previous owner and is extremely clean. It was his pride and joy. The last few years he only drove it to local car shows and our local parade here in town in july. It has been kept in his heated garage when not used. As the video shows, the body is very clean with no rust or major blemish I can see. I was told the interior was never smoked in. The interior is very clean. I noticed a minor headliner sag in a spot (easily fixed any upholstery shop). At one time there was a mild tasteful ghost flame effect applied and clear coated on the front, it is a light charcoal color and It looks awesome on the truck! I took the truck on a 100 mile local car club fundraiser and it rode and drove like a dream. The E brake light stays on once in a while (probally the sensor) the brakes work great on the truck. The 454 engine v8 ran great with no smoke knocks or misses. tires look good as well as the wheels. The truck has the visor that sets the truck off well and a bed cover/tonough that fits like it should. This is a truck you can fly in and drive home or I can help recommend shippers I have used in the past who have been very reasonable. As you know, these trucks are pretty rare and they are really becoming a highly sought after collector truck. I do not want to over call this truck or under call it, let the video and pics tell the story. I set the reserve well below what the market dictates these true 454 SS at, only bid if you are serious about owning it. The miles are 90394 and I believe them to be actual but as the truck is over ten years old, it is sold miles exempt. The plates on the truck do not go with the sale as they are my personal plates I used for the car cruise I took it on. the owners manual and any papers pictured go with the truck. I Drove it back around 3 hours and I was very impressed by the way it drove and how sharp it looked. This is one head turning truck! Cosmetically the truck is very clean. I did not see any major cosmetic blemishes in my opinion. I really videoed it well to show you the overall cosmetic shape of the truck, (as well as any minor small common for the age blemishes ) and I hope you will agree with me that it is very clean. The rockers, cab corners etc look good with no rust I see. The truck has a nice brush guard that sets the truck off well. The truck has dual exhaust and it has a nice mean rumble sound to it. I was told that the truck has a off road suspension which would explain why it sits so nice. It looks to have been done well and professionally and not obnoxiously lifted etc. The trans shifts the way it should all gears and the 5.3 lt v8 engine runs very good. It has the towing package. the bed looks good and the tonough cover fits great. All of the power options are working as far as I can tell. The 4x4 engages like it should. The tires look very good with deep tred. I do not want to overcall it or undercall it Make sure to watch the video as it really does a great job showing you exactly what the truck is. the miles on the truck are roughly 135k which means this truck was driven on average around 10k miles per a year. I believe the miles to be actual but as the truck is 10 or more years old, it is sold exempt. This is a truck that in my opinion, you can win and have it shipped to your door feeling great what you bought or fly here and drive it home with no surprises. It comes with a clean and clear title ready for you to register.
