The Vanagon was used in Canada, it has a Canadian title and was imported as a rebuild-able vehicle. The body is in a reasonable condition with visible rust. The camper furniture is removed from the van and is with the car. Also a weekender interior is present. The car is meant to be sold for parts or rebuild, these are very popular campers and are in great demand. The engine is a 1.9 L 4 stroke gasoline engine coupled to a 4 speed manual gearbox and two wheel drive. The engine last ran in Canada, when it was loaded on a dolly. The cylinder head gaskets are blown and need repair. The tires are still good with almost 100% thread on them. The pop-up roof has slight damage and the tent is missing, as it was no longer usable.

We bought this sweet orange 1983 VW Vanagon Westfalia in 2011, and it has been such a pleasure to own. This van is in really great mechanical shape. In 2012, we had Rocky Mountain Westy in Colorado do a complete Subaru conversion. The van now has a Subaru 2.2L (EJ-22) with only 6,000 miles on it. Here are the main points: - Subaru Engine Conversion 2.2L only has 6,000 miles - Complete Subaru engine conversion by Rocky Mountain Westy in 2012 - Brand new clutch - Audi wheels added in 2011 - New CV axles in 2015 - Van body has ~125,000 miles on it - Nice exhaust system employs Magnaflow with a custom machined heat shield by RMW - Clean title, no liens- Yakima rack (towers and bars only - SUP carrier in pictures is not included) - Wood floors added in 2013 - Van is clean - After market tachometer included - Original curtains are in great shape- Lots of fabric in back the cabinet - was going to use for re-upholstering. Have it! - Stove, sink and fridge all work - Really nice Kenwood car stereo with remote control included, but not hooked up (no radio at all, but there are speakers and the radio would be pretty simple to hook up)- Perfect project van The van starts every time and runs incredibly well! If you've ever driven a VW Vanagon with the original engine, you'll be amazed at the difference. This thing really goes. For full transparency, the van DOES need some love - but it's a Vanagon so it will always need love. This is not the right vehicle for you if you're looking for something you never have to work on again. It's just not like that. ;) The van could use some front end suspension work, along with some aesthetic work. It's a wonderful project just waiting for the right person who has the time, budget and desire to make this machine shine. The front seats have some tears and should probably be replaced (the front driver side seat especially), and the back seat needs re-upholstering. The hook-ups on the outside of the van need to be updated, and the hitch on the back should be removed and replaced with a nice bumper. OR - if you want a hitch on there, it still needs replacing. It was poorly attached with bad welds, so we suggest not using the hitch that is included (previous owner tried their best we suppose). The dash lights are currently out - we've tried to fix the dash lights multiple times with multiple used electrical ribbons, but the ribbon keeps frying. We were thinking about putting strip LED lights around the dash instead. I guess you'll have to get creative, but the van currently does not have dash lights. The ceiling liner is chipping off and should probably be scraped and re-painted or simply sanded down. The canvas has some wear and tear, but is in relatively good shape. Everything I mentioned for the most part is aesthetic. This van is very sound mechanically and flies up the mountain passes and flows smoothly on the highway going 75mph. On the highway, you can expect about 22 miles per gallon. We've taken the van on numerous long road trips after the conversion and we haven't run into any stressful situations yet.Certified cashier's check, cash or bank wire transfer are the only accepted forms of payment. More pictures are available upon your request.! We just don't use the van as much as we wish we could, so we really want someone who will truly live the lifestyle. 1975 VW Bus That has been very well kept. The 2.0 liter 2000 cc motor runs like a sewing machine, and is an absolute blast to drive! Was switched from fuel injected to carburator. This bus turns heads everywhere, so if you are not into random conversations every time you park this bus, you may not want to bid! Interior is in fantastic shape with very little wear, and the pop up camper canvas is new! all zippers and screens are in perfect 100% working order! there are curtains for every single window on this bus, including one large one that snaps into place to cover front two glasses and windshield (pictured below.) There is also a screen to snap into place to keep back hatch open when camping to let a breeze through. The stove and Fridge both run off of the propane tank that comes already installed under sink. Sink has a water tank and runs off a hand pump to get water to come out. there is a very nice Duralast Marine battery under back seat that runs the power converter for lighting and electrical outlets. there is also plug on outside of bus to run power straight to outlets on the inside with a breaker. Back seat lays flat for a nice large cushioned bed in rear, camper up top has a fold out bed as well, and a sling fits into place over the front to seats for 3 separate sleeping beds! The sling stores perfectly under back seat as well! The stool is also the original stool that you rarely find still with the bus! Comes with original owners manual and advertising flyer. The paint is in deccent shape, but no means perfect. There is also one dent that is beside the passenger side taillight (pictured as well.) It has a few chips all around, and the only bad spot of rust you will find is on the drivers bottom side of the body. other than that area the rest of the bus seems to be in very solid shap! 1985 Volkswagen Vanagon This ol' babe is the cat's pajamas. I love this vanagon and I'm certain you will too. My fiance and I just recently took several road trips including a 1000 mile round trip journey to Orlando, FL this past summer. I built a custom bed platform, threw a full size bed in the back, and never lost a wink of sleep during our camping trips. This is a true adventure machine. The good: -Runs Strong-Solid body-Clean interior with low wear-New Starter-Perfect glass all the way around-wooden bed platform-custom hand-made curtains-Fun paint(?)-Heat works-I would drive it anywhere The not as good:-Not the fastest car on the road, but if you're looking for a vanagon, you probably already know this. -it's 31 years old, so it's not perfect. -a/c isn't hooked up-a couple of dents, but nothing heartbreaking (pictured)-CD player blew a fuse -Odometer doesn't work so the miles are an estimate (I use a speedometer app on my phone and haven't skipped a beat)-The gas tank needs resealing, I only put 9 gallons in at a time and it has been fine, but I'm including a gas tank reseal kit. If you are even mildly handy, you can reseal the tank in an afternoon. Easy job. -Oil is slightly leaky from the oil drain plug. I think the plug was crossthreaded when I took the vanagon to get it's oil changed when I first got it. I simply put leak seal in every time I change the oil and hit the road and it seems to do the trick for a while. I always keep an eye on the level when I take longer trips. I bought this Vanagon last April from a guy that has worked on VW's for 30 years. He recently pulled the engine and put all new gaskets on everything. Starts every time and runs strong. As-is.
