I never thought I would sell my flagship Benz. Life intervened. We have enjoyed our trips around Puget Sound, ferry rides, visiting the kids in Bellingham, fall tours across the Cascades to Chelan, driving along the beaches at Ocean Shores and many adventures with the grandkids. Time to pass on the good times to someone who will care for it as we have. It isn't perfect but overall in great condition. It gets about 24 mpg in town - a little better at cruising speeds. We'll leave tools with it, a MB first aid kit, original papers and pamphlets and a custom made (me) platform that fits between the rear seats on the tunnel. We always have a little Christmas wreath on the grille - small frame included. Last of the glorious 126 long body sedans. Very unusual color light green inside and out. Aftermarket Chrome wheels - good-Goodyear- tires. (Original wheels will be included as well as 3 mounted snowtires on older chromes - with a set of the longer studs for them.) Right front fender, lights and hood replaced after fender bender. BEST is the professionally rebuilt engine (see invoice). The original 350s had an engine problem when the displacement was raised from 300 to 350. To remedy that all new rods, head, sleeved cylinders - see invoice - were installed about 50k miles ago. Cost: over $12,000. Original Auto Becker Cassette type radio. New Airconditioning compressor - but air condition does not work - leak somewhere.

1991 Mercedes Benz 350 SDL. Has significant wear on it from use. We took it to a mechanic who said he would work on it but failed to for two years. It has been sitting ever since. The turbocharger is loose and damaged, and as far as I know that is the only problem with the engine. The frame to the inside of the door is damaged, and the leather on the passenger seat is ripped, and the back right window slides down on its own. Unfortunately the man who we left the car with let the window slide down and did not care to raise it when it rained or snowed leaving water damage on the back seats. This would be a great work project for someone who has the knowledge to work on old german autos. I am selling my road ready FANTASTIC example of a Rare limited production 1990 Mercedes 350SDL Southern Turbo Diesel with a Completely Rebuilt Transmission 100 miles ago. The complete rebuild also a new torque converter and changed the valve body as well. There is over a year transferable warranty on this rebuild through Aamco!! The car runs and drives so nice that it deserved it. The motor starts up all of the time and purrs as it should. All of the vacuum lines and wires under the hood are properly routed. I have been working on Mercedes for over 25 years so I am familiar with these. The glow plugs, intake gasket, tensioner, tensioner shock, belt and filters are recent. Since the car was southern, the air conditioning system is great. It pumps out nice cold air conditioning from the proper vents and nice hot heat when needed. The brakes feel great and are 4 wheel disk brakes. The suspension is very nice. The tires are all like brand new with stagered 17 inch AMG wheels. The entire car was repainted and there is no evidence of damage. This color is known for checking or crazing in the sun so repaint is common. The front fender on the drivers side has a speck of rust from a few chips that were not touched up in time. Otherwise the car is solid as a rock!! No bumper rust or rot on the bottom at all! The exhaust system is solid as a rock with no leaks. The leather is in really nice shape with the exception of the boulster where the belt scrapes the seat. The carpets are decent. The dash is pretty clean. The wood has some southern heat cracking common after the years. The battery is proper size and still strong. Wipers, horn, lights, radio, cruise control, all windows, locks all work. Sunroof needs a motor and is not working. My pal did find one and it will be in the trunk if you would like to fix it. The body is straight and solid with no cover up of rust or damage. New headlight trims make the car look fresh and new. This is one of the good ones! As a Mercedes Club member I knew that this car was worth investing the money into the transmission on such a fine example. I have a clean New York State title in hand ready to transfer. This car has never been exposed to salt and will stay off the roads until you or your shipper picks it up. I am Mike and I do every step of this.
