Huge interior space with lots of headroom Yes, this luxury SUV is loaded. Ok, I am a super honest seller so: As with any vehicle this age, there are few needs expected. But the good news is there are only really 4 minor cosmetic needs and they are as follows: First, it has very minor "Chicago Bumpers" with a little scuff/scratch here and there (which you can't tell unless you're looking closely at it.) See the photos. Overall the vehicle really has very minor and almost no scratches on the body and the paint is in pretty awesome condition. However in Chicago, the bumpers on all vehicles have some marks and cracks from people bumping your car when they parallel park. The bumpers actually look really great and are in overall good looking condition as seen in the photographs and video except for the 2 or 3 spots that cracked when people bumped it when parking. See these zoomed in photographs for details. Second, as with all the land rovers of these years, the cloth of the headliner is now in "Sahara mode" and has somewhat unglued, which means the ceiling cloth is a little down in some areas. It's not at all bad which you can see in the photos. This is very common with the land rover headliners and is not really an issue. If you want a weekend project, you can remove the headliner, and re-glue it with a fabric adhesive. For me, it really wasn't an issue and I completely forgot about it. But you can see in the video and pictures what it looks like. Third, the Passenger's side front door power lock needs to be checked. The door opens, closes, and locks perfectly and works perfectly as seen in the video, but when I use the wireless remote, the lock does not pop up and the door needs to be unlocked by hand. Finally, the driver side leather seat has worn from getting in and out of the vehicle over time. This is only in the area photographed as the rest of the seat is in good condition. This is common with leather drivers seats on all vehicles over the years. Here is a zoomed in photo. But that's it! I have photographed and listed all the problems above, mainly cosmetic. If there's anything else that wasn't listed, it's going to really really really minor, like a small scratch somewhere and I totally missed it. But seriously, that's it. Be aware that these are zoomed in photos, so it looks worse on your screen than in person. Trust me, you're going to love this vehicle. Available today is my 2001 Land Rover Discovery SD. I recently purchased this from a professor friend at the local University, who was offered a job in Europe and had to leave on short notice. He knew I always admired his Land Rover and offered it to me at a price I couldn't pass up. Being my third car, however, I rarely ever use it, so I've decided to offer it for sale here on eBay. First off, this car has a salvage title. My friend was involved in a minor accident on the vehicle's front right side Christmas Day 20012. The insurance company, given the age of the vehicle and the cost of the bodywork, wrote it off. My friend loved this Land Rover, though, and decided to keep it and get the bodywork done. This cost just over $3600. In 2013, he replaced the head gasket set, which cost almost $2500. In the past two years he also spent almost $2000 on brake work and a driveshaft overhaul. So, doing the math, over $8000 in work has been put into this car in the past 2 1/2 years. I have all records of service, which were performed exclusively at British Performance in Mission Viejo CA. Mechanically, then the car runs superbly. No problems with the engine or transmission. No electrical issues. The only thing I've noticed is some moisture on the floor in front when I have the A/C on high. I researched it and it looks like it is most likely a leak in the A/C hose--an easy fix, according the to the internet. That noted, everything works in the interior as it should. The A/C does blow ice cold. For the interior, the only wear to note is on the driver's seat from getting in and out of the car (shown in the pics above). The exterior is also in excellent condition with only minor wear. No problems to note.This is a CA car, and it was smogged just over three months ago . The tags are good until August 2016. Overall, this is an exemplary Land Rover--I believe it would be hard to find another one of this era in this well-maintained condition. I bought it in a heartbeat because it was so well preserved--I just can't justify keeping it when it rarely gets used. Given the car and maintenance put into the vehicle I am asking $3500 or best offer. If you are in the Southern California area, you are more than welcome to schedule a test drive. It is buyers responsibility to have financing in order when placing a bid on a vehicle. "I couldn't get financing" is not a valid way out of the deal. No representations or warranties are made by seller, nor are any representations or warranties relied upon by bidders in making bids. 8) Taxes and Registration fees: Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title service fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for vehicle to be titled and registered. Vision Custom Car and Stereo does charge a processing fee for all title documents in order to cover charges we pay to the state as well as other fees incurred during the process. For Out of State (Non-NJ Resident)that fee is $250 for all vehicles. These fees are non-negotiable. This fee includes a 20 Day Temporary Tag and processing. New Jersey Residents are required to pay $325 in fees for registration and titling. This price difference is due to the state of NJ raising their prices. NJ Residents are also required to pay 7% Sales Tax at our location at the time of sale. Non-Residents are not subject to the NJ Sales Tax. 9) Title Information: Vehicles titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. If payment is made by cashier's or personal checks we will hold all titles for 10 days or until funds have cleared. 10) Shipping & Delivery: All shipping charges are buyer's responsibility, unless otherwise specified in the auction. Miracle Autosport will help with shipping arrangements but will not be responsible in any way for claims arising from shipping damage! All shipping arrangements are made via 3rd Party Liscensed Broker. Licensed Carriers are generally insured for $3,000,000.00. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves our showroom or any delays in shipping for any reason. All shipping arrangements are provided by Miracle Autosport as a courtesy. We are not affiliated with any carrier. Any claims or other communication regarding shipment of vehicles will be between you and the shipper, not with Miracle Autosport. The amount of time it takes for delivery is dependent on the carrier, but is generally 5-21 days from the date the vehicle is picked up from our facility until it is delivered to your destination. Verify with the shipper for an Estimate Time of Arrival to be sure. Again: Miracle Autosport is not the shipper; we just help you to facilitate plans. 11) Finalizing your Purchase: Miracle Autosport will contact the successful high bidder by e-mail after the auction closes. Successful high bidder MUST communicate with Miracle Autosport by e-mail or phone (609)587-1986 to make arrangements to complete their transaction and leave a deposit. This deposit is needed to secure your purchase and must be done within 24 hours of the auctions close. We reserve the right to relist this vehicle or sell to any other qualified buyer before purchase is secured. We will use all available recourse to recover lost fees. We use a 3rd party warranty company, Autosource Warranty (ASWARRANTY.COM) and all warranties or service contracts will be through them. Miracle Autosport is not liable for any warranty claims made on any vehicle sold. Please also note that a storage fee of $25 per day will be charged starting one week from conclusion of auction unless arrangements are made either in writing or via email that state otherwise.
