Up for sale is a 2008 Chevy Express 2500 extended wheelbase van with a 6.6 liter Duramax diesel. The van is a 1-owner former police van and has 230k miles. Just passed California Smog inspection few days ago. Build date for this van is 2008-08-06, and for any other vehicle that would usually mean 2009 model year. The exterior has several scratches, dent on the drivers door and holes from the strobe lights (all holes are sealed off with silicone, no leaks). Mechanically everything is in great shape. Obviously police vehicles have the best maintenance programs in the world. There are no warning lights on the dash, and the van runs good with no known issues. Four matching LT tires are two years old and they all have plenty of tread left. Both heaters are hot and both A/C are ice cold. No fluid leaks. Parking brake is tight. Transmission engages and shifts up and down very smoothly. A new 10,000 lb rating Class 5 receiver hitch and trailer wiring have been installed a week and 2,000 miles ago. The van has never towed before that, although it is equipped with factory auxiliary transmission cooler. Options include: front and rear heater and A/C, power heated mirrors, power windows and locks, tilt steering wheel, tachometer, 145 amp alternator, aux trans cooler and engine oil cooler and full width vinyl insulated floor cover. The spare wheel is missing. The lower part of the passenger mirror has one vertical crack, still totally usable. The vehicle is located in sunny San Diego, California. You are bidding on a well cared for second owner 2001 GMC Savana 3500 15' Box Truck. I purchased this truck right off the Penske lot in May 2005, and have been the only owner for the last 10 1/2 years and low 42k miles driven during that time. Considerable money and work has gone into keeping this truck in excellent running condition, despite it's age, and it has always passed Massachusetts annual inspections flawlessly. Currently stickered through Sept 2016 and plate valid through 12/31/2015. Note the truck's actual dry weight is around 7,400 and I kept it registered as 8,000 - vehicles under 10k GVW are much more cost effective to register and insure in MA and not many trucks this size are that light these days. Full service records/history are included; 90% of all work was done by Marty's GMC of Kingston MA. Oil and fluids changed every six months; in 2015 alone, the rear end, fuel pump, and alternator have been replaced. Full tune-up and stabilizer bars in 2014 (only 3k miles ago). Brakes/Tires/Belts/Hoses all in recent years; too much to list! The truck only ever saw light to medium duty hauling band and musical gear throughout New England. Obviously with an average of only 4,000 miles a year, it has been treated well. The ramp works great, the door seals and locks just fine (high quality lock and keys included). Has never been damaged or wrecked in any way. Unfortunately, the winter of 2015 took its toll and portions of the roof caved in due to snow weight, so the box itself is no longer waterproof on a couple of corners. Still would be great as-is for day-use only tasks, perhaps a landscaping or delivery company. Located near IKEA in Avon/Stoughton MA and can be viewed/driven during weekday business hours by appointment.

we outgrew our van and bought a new van. So now we must part with our beloved van. We have owned this van for a little over eight years and is never left us stranded has been very reliable. We bought it from Virginia power company so it was fleet maintained, since then it has been meticulously maintained by myself, The van will come with all the maintenance receipts. When we bought the van it was a supervisors vehicle with a partition and ladder rack. I built out the van to serve three purposes. 1st) travel van for my family of five with a pull out bed and toilet. 2nd) 10 passenger vehicle for when our family comes to visit. 3rd) a quick removal of some of the seats and it becomes a daily driver work vehicle for my home remodeling business. This van is a one ton 3500 model with a turbo Diesel engine. The interior is ingood condition no stains. No dirt The drivers seat has a little ware on the edge but no holes, there's a small tear in the side of one of the back captain chairs, the van has front and rear AC and heat! tented windows with thick curtains. There is A few minor scratches and paint chips small area on the passenger side rocker panel underneath the slider door has rust holes but the underside has no rust The van is rarely driven in the snow, mostly due to the fact we don't get a lot of snow. The last four pictures shows the wooden box in three different configurations when the box is built to houses a standard Porta potty that is not included with the van, I made it so that when the backseat is installed the box can be folded up to provide legroom for an additional passenger. All the wood is oak including the ceiling there is a bottom panel missing from the inside of the sliding door. The van is also insulated walls and ceiling. The van gets just under 17 mpg at 70 to 75 mph. Pretty much gets 16 to 17 MPG no matter city or hwy. The sofa makes into a two person bed and also has a fold down center armrest, there is storage underneath the sofa Replaced in the past two years All coolant hoses Tires Front and rear shoes, pads, calipers, 1 wheel cyl and all brake hoses U jointsFront wheel bearings Two batteries Antifreeze Oil change every 3000 to 4000 Turbos wastegate solenoid Replaced in the last four years Power steering pump ( had a small leak) Serpentine belt Upper ball joints Transmission filter and fluid Shocks front and back Larger oil cooler (the old was leaking)New improved Pmd (I think it has a lifetime warranty will have to check the receipt) also at the same time I installed a relocation kit Glow plugs This is a list of all the small issues that the van hasRight at the end of this past summer the o-rings on the Freon hose that connects to the compressor started to leak easy cheap fix. (6yrs ago I replace the compressor do to clutch failure) The fuel gauge has never worked from the day we bought it, I read years ago it was a common problem with these vans so not willing to replace with new for the problem to reoccur I never bothered fixing it just simply fill the tank every 300 -330 miles

Hard to find 12' Supreme box with a Translucent ceiling in a rare white truck. Air Conditioning, Dual Airbags, AM/FM Stereo with CD player. Small chip in windshield. Lower passenger side, has not changed since I bought vehicle. Bought this vehicle last summer with about 108,000 miles on it. Immediately brought it into the dealer for 100,000 mile service so that I knew that all maintenance was up to date. - Fluids were changed. - New Sparkplugs. - New front end parts and alignment. - New front tires. - Back tires and brakes noted to be very good. - Transmission coolant lines were replaced due to a small drip.
