2009 Nissan GT-R Premium 725 WHP, Alpha 9, Motec M-1, Forged Performance Stage II Trans Upgrade This GT-R has several track records at Watkins Glen 2:09, Millville, NJ Lightning ( 1:03;48 ), VIR, Mt. Tremblance ( 1:39 ) etc. Like everyone else I had to suffer through a long list of OEM short comings that make this car poorly suited for a road course event longer then 15 mins in the summer. GT-R currently fitted with taller wing pylons proven to be necessary with wind tunnel tests and test driving at the track, lower pylons are available if buyer request. In order to correct these problems one at a time and to enjoy the true race purebred buried deep inside beneath all the factory defects, I have upgraded this car with the following systems / parts. For 2 years non stop I have poured my heart, soul, wallet and engineering experience into solving every single problem that has limited the GT-R from being the truly great car that it was designed to be. How the factory every thought that 265 F engine coolant was going to adequately cool 285 F trans oil in a liquid to liquid heat exchanger the size of a soup can is a mystery. But, by adding the extra Setrab cores, fans, pumps, filters to the trans oil, Front and Rear diff oil, engine oil, systems even during the most brutal summer race this is the ONLY GT-R that will never red line the trans oil, cook the diff oil, or worse yet - drop into LIMP MODE doing 180 MPH on the back straight at Watkins Glen, or the bowl at Pocono !!! My attention to detail has been meticulous because I am an FAA Aircraft Mechanic and have built and restored many aircraft both prop and turbine and done 6 car projects as well. So the car is flawless in every respect and it still retains a 110% premium quality look interior ( can reinstall the rear seat cushions if you want ), exterior and under the hood. The car is absolutely 100% street legal & currently registered and inspected in PA. A very serious contender for trophies at all shows and track events. I did not give into the idea that because I was building a racer that I could justify the use of sheet metal and pop rivets. Look at the detail for the rebound adjusters on the JRZ shocks - custom machined extensions - everyone else has to leave the rear storage deck out to get to the knob. Also look at the JRZ canister installations - well engineered and easy to get to - open the hood or trunk and instant access. Even the factory and Stillen suggest putting the front canisters in the battery & power steering compartments - SICK !!! - not in this car. Check out the overhead aviation type switch panel - not a panel cut into the dash with a razor knife and caulk like some owners have done. This switch panel is where the overhead sunglass case was and I had to temporarily remove the dash, all the A pillar trim, airbags, head liner to install all the fused wiring for this sub-panel with a Master, Front Diff Pump, Rear Diff pump, Trans oil pump, Fans, Aux. fuel transfer pump switch from the 18 gallon race fuel cell in the trunk, cool shirt pump, and Traqmate GPS Data Acquisition system master. Every switch has a unique LED indicator light on it so you can easily see what you have turned on while doing 170 MPH on the front straight at the Glen. That one switch panel speaks volumes as to the detail that has gone into all the work on this car. I have over $ 120 K invest in just PARTS and SUB Contracts, not including my 2,000 man-hours for engineering, fab, and install in the car beyond the current market value. 1 – 2009 Premium GT-R w/ 9,200 miles, 1 owner - no damage – Engine is 100% stock except the plugs. Engine has 180k on it, ive put 1500 miles on this pickup since the swap was done back in September. During the restoration it was transformed into a very serious pro-touring car with excellent handling characteristics, killer fit and finish, and big speed.  The body was given a full rotisserie restoration that was blasted to bare metal prior to any type of body work being performed. The fenders, front valence, and hood are all GM NOS parts. After sanding the body to produce a clean new finish, the car received a base/clear respray in the original and correct Marina with the addition of a custom Black topside. The split is divided by an elegant silver stripe. The car has all new glass, new trim, and new rubber throughout. The undercarriage has been finished in a bed liner material which provides for a durable, chip free finish. The engine compartment is finished in semi-gloss and has an immaculate look. The trunk is finished in a light grey splatter paint finish. Allowing for a proper pro touring stance is a set of DSE mini tubs and adding lots of strength is a set of DSE weld-in subframe connectors. These connectors are installed through the floors and have a low profile and much better strength than your bolt-on variety.  The drive train is a brand new 525 Horse LS3 from GM Performance. This 376 CI motor has Chevrolet's aggressive ASA camshaft that was originally developed for high revving circle track cars. In this case it has found its way into an LS motor. The cam is a hydraulic roller with .525 lift on both sides, with 226 degree intake and 236 degree exhaust. Combine this with 110 degree lobe separation and you get snappy throttle response and gobs of air flow at high RPMs. The car has a classic, lumpy muscle car idle and with 20 HP more than the LS7, this motor is a simply wicked combination in a muscle car. Don't forget about the best of both worlds aspect where you get daily driver type reliability as well! The motor uses a new GM harness and computer. This is not a take out drivetrain from a Corvette or Camaro application. It's hard to go wrong with an LS drivetrain and this tight package straight boogies. The motor sports a high end Vintage Air front runner kit that provides perfect alignment for the spinning accessories. The main bracket is milled billet and has a solid industrial look. The motor uses a set of stainless Kooks headers built for this exact application. They flow into a custom 3" exhaust which has excellent flow and a big, fat exhaust note.  Cooling the engine is a Be Cool radiator with dual Spal fans. The stainless fuel tank is a Vaporworks Fuel system by Rick's Tanks built specifically for fuel injection motors. They use multiple pick ups so you never run into fuel starvation issues that will shut one of the motors down. The transmission is the mother of them all, the T56 Magnum 6-speed. These transmissions have found their way into many high performance applications including the ACR Viper and ZR1. They feature unique double overdrive gearing in 5th and 6th gear, short shifts with razor sharp engagement, and they weigh just 135 lbs. These bad boys are good for 700 ft lbs of torque and will hold up to some serious abuse. Connecting the transmission to the 9" Currie rear end is a 3" chromoly drive shaft. The 9" uses 31 spline axles and an Eaton TruTrac differential and gets killer traction.  The suspension has CPP tubular upper and lower control arms, a CPP quick ratio steering box, and QA1 coil overs up front. The rear suspension features DSE mini tubs, DSE leaf springs with offset shackles and QA1 shocks. Bringing the Camaro to a halt is a CPP Big Brake kit coupled with a CPP Hydroboost setup. The car has wonderful handling characteristics and a smooth ride thanks to the modified leaf configuration. The wheels are Centerline Lazer wheels that are 17x8 front and 18x11.5 in the rear. The tires are  255/40/17 front, 335/30/18 rear. The interior features custom houndstooth seats and the latest gauges from Dakota Digital. I bought quality parts from LMC Truck, spent a fortune on the drive train. I get thumbs up and chatted up at every gas station when driving this. I started with a rust free straight truck from the high desert of eastern WA. 1975 model year is emission exempt in most states including California. This truck was built to be used, but could be proudly shown at any car event. Motor estimated at 350 HP & 425 TQ. Edelbrock electric choke 4 barrel on a 4 barrel intake. Dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. Newly rebuilt automatic C6 transmission with shift kit. High/Low transfer case, 2 or 4 wheel. I built this set-up for low end grunt, but it still raps out quick, incredible power. High pinion Dana 44 front axle with locker. I set this truck up to bust snow drifts, you can have full positive traction up front with both hubs locked in, or drive it in mild 4 wheel drive with 1 hub locked in. The rear end is the famous Ford 9 inch, I left the rear end with open differential. When driving in ice or light snow you do not want a locked up rear end, you will slide all over. With this setup you get max traction and drivability. Heavy duty radiator and trans cooler. We built some heavy duty solid steel Bambi bumpers. In Montana, we run the gauntlet on back roads when it comes to deer and other wildlife. Everyone I know has hit a deer with their expensive truck causing severe damage. I promise….if you hit a deer with this front bumper, the deer will lose, you will have a lot of blood to clean up, but this truck will be just fine. Warn winch with controller, 2 KC lights with covers. Truck can be easily returned to chrome bumpers if desired. We re-wired most of the truck, everything works as it should. 35/12.5/15 BFG KM2’s on aluminum wheels, maybe 200 miles on this set. BODY I started off with a clean rot free straight original Ford truck, we all know what a feat that is to find. No rot anywhere, very little body work needed before paint. Painted a nice dark metallic blue inside and out. The bed is raptor lined, new seals and windshield. All the aftermarket parts are from LMC Truck, they are quality and expensive, no JC Whitney crap. The undercarriage is coated with POR-15, the best stuff available. Decent CD player and speakers. The glass is all good, nothing major imperfection wise sticks out to me, but this truck has been driven so there is a minor rock chip here and there. This is one great sorted out vintage Ford truck. And, despite its custom drivetrain, the car's trim and ornamentation is a stylish mix of familiar Chevrolet attributes. Up front, a billet Rally Sport grille hangs electric headlights above a Satin Black bumper, clear Rally Sport parking lamps and an aggressive, carbon fiber spoiler. Behind that grille, a Camaro-branded header leads the eye to a carbon fiber Stinger Hood, which centers exposed weave striping in front of dark-tint glass and straight, Satin Black trim. And at the back of those spears, a power-operated trunk hangs a carbon fiber ducktail over smoked Fesler taillights, a carbon fiber bowtie, a second satin bumper and carbon fiber exhaust bezels that are seated in a custom roll pan. ENGINE Lift this F1's glossy hood and you'll find a 604 cubic inch Dahmer Powertrain big block that's been professionally built to roughly 750 horsepower! The mean engine's growl originates when wind whips from custom, carbon fiber air tubes in to a fabricated, ram jet-style intake. That wind fuses with fossils thanks to quality Hogan fuel injection, which is hooked to braided fluid lines, a small Aeromotive pressure gauge, a familiar Aeromotive regulator and proven F.A.S.T programming. The resulting air/fuel mixture makes its way to quality Air Flow Research heads, which are topped with custom, brushed aluminum valve covers. When the juice hits the cylinders, a hot MSD Pro-Billet distributor shoots fire through sleeved Accel Ferro-Spiral plug wires, which snake around coated Dynatech headers. Cooling for that fire comes courtesy of a massive aluminum radiator that's anchored between a custom cowl and quick-spinning electric puller fans. And, fluid for that cooling system is provided by an aluminum Stewart water pump that, along with a polished alternator and coated AC compressor, spins on high quality Vintage Air FrontRunner components. The buff mill is exceptionally impressive, centering its Jet Black block between carbon fiber fenders, hydraulic Fesler hood supports and contoured Fesler braces. And details, like trick, color-keyed dipsticks, a small Wilwood clutch reservoir and a familiar Wilwood master cylinder, convey the kind of acute build quality that elicits immediate stares. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION Take a look under this tire shredding pony car and you'll find a fully restored chassis that's ready for the strip or the street. Behind the big engine, a Tremec TKO600 5-speed utilizes a stout hydraulic clutch to spin a tough Keisler driveshaft, which is connected to a Strange 9-inch axle and big, 3.73 gears. Under that driveline, a proven Heidts suspension makes good use of tubular control arms, modern coil-overs, thick sway bars and power rack-and-pinion steering. At the corners of that suspension, four Wilwood calipers clamp drilled and slotted rotors with the help of Hydratech hydraulics. Charred dinosaurs float from the aforementioned headers to a series of large-diameter pipes, which position an H-shaped crossover in front of aggressive SpinTech mufflers. Power meets the pavement through 18-inch Rocket Racing Boosters, which spin 245/40 Nitto NT555 Extreme ZRs in front of 265/40 Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials. And the car's fresh, Satin Black floors are finished with stainless fluid lines, a deep-sump oil pan, a high quality mini starter and Heidts Pro-G subframe connectors. INTERIOR Open this Chevy's tight-fitting doors and you'll find a highly customized interior that wraps 21st century style in a nice blend of comfort and convenience. BODYWORK/TRIM Steal a glance at this Mustang's super slick body and you'll see what high quality craftsmanship that's performed by a dedicated group of individuals truly looks like. Those individuals knuckle down at a place called Samson Design in Marshall, Missouri. And, in what amounts to an epic, 6-figure build, they transformed what was a tired old mule into a show-stopping thoroughbred. Appropriately themed 'Flashback', this Ford's total reboot began with all new sheetmetal that included a pair of OEM front fenders. Once hours of labor had blended that metal into excellent fit and finish, a rich layer of DuPont Magic Red base was sealed under Hot Hues Sandstorm stripes and a glossy clearcoat shell. And, in July of 2014, this clean pony debuted as a red-hot custom that easily trumps most of its pro-touring contemporaries. It's obvious that someone really sweated the details on this Mustang. And with its enhanced, Shelby-style profile, the car presents a professionally finished appearance that goes far beyond traditional descriptors. Up front, a Mustangs to Fear clip hangs custom, Samson-branded grille work between custom, 7-inch headlights, a louvered Mustangs to Fear hood and Eleanor-style driving lamps. Behind that hood, new glass, which includes 1-piece side windows, rides between new stainless wipers, bright stainless frames, shaved drip rails and custom-fabricated quarter louvers. At the sides of that glass, Mustangs to Fear rocker panels lay the groundwork for shaved fenders, racy "Flashback" call-outs, classic door handles and chrome, bullet-style mirrors. And out back, a Mustangs to Fear decklid hangs over sequential, Shelby-style taillights, Mustangs to Fear fender caps, a body-matched bumper and a custom valance that's complete with integrated exhaust ports. ENGINE Hoist this coupe's snug fitting hood and you'll find a 5.0 liter, DOHC 'mod motor' that twists 379 dyno-proven horsepower into 375 lb./ft. of pavement scorching torque! Officially named 'Coyote', and officially known as the backbone of the current Mustang GT, this state-of-the-art rocket utilizes forged internals, oil-cooled hypereutectic pistons, a long runner single scroll intake, variable valve timing and a direct-mount throttle body to create stout 11 to 1 compression all the way up to 7,000 RPM. At the top of the engine, a conical filter element feeds a Sandstorm-painted air tube. At the sides of the engine, clean shorty headers optimize breathing. At the front of the engine, a Vintage Air FrontRunner system spins an assortment of smooth ancillaries. And a beefy Ron Davis radiator, which is fitted with large electric puller fans, provides cooling. The svelte powerplant is extremely tidy, with "POWERED BY FORD" cam covers and a "5.0" branded cowl concealing most of its factory silver block. And the car's show-detailed engine bay is finished with thoughtful accessories like a body-matched nose filler, Lokar drive-by-wire throttle control, a Wilwood master cylinder and snazzy Ringbrothers hood supports. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION The bottom of this awesome Mustang is just as impressive as its slick exterior and smooth powerplant. Behind that smooth powerplant, a tough Tremec T56 Magnum 6-speed spins a proven Chassisworks FAB9 rear end that's fitted with Strange 31-spline axles. The car's already competent suspension was completely swapped for a Rod & Custom Mustang II front clip and first class Chassisworks g-Link rear half. That 2-inch-dropped hardware was augmented with power rack-and-pinion steering, custom subframe connectors and high quality mini tubs. Braking is equally class, with Wilwood 4-piston calipers squeezing four drilled and slotted rotors. The aforementioned headers dump spent gases in to a custom, 2.5-inch exhaust system that backs an X-shaped crossover with polished Magnaflow mufflers. Detail items, like an Aeromotive fuel pump, a billet fuel regulator and a custom, Sandstorm-painted fuel tank, flesh new floorpans that are protected with body-matched undercoating. And everything rolls on polished American Racing 427 Cobra wheels, which twist 245/45ZR17 Nitto NT555 Extreme ZRs in front of 315/35ZR17 Nitto NT555 Extreme ZRs. INTERIOR Pop the car's doors and you'll find an attractive, well-rounded interior that was installed by the pros at Samson Design.
