1959 ChevroletSuburban 3100 (1/2 Ton) Have any questions about the vehicle? Call Bobby at (804) 366-3194 Speedometer shows 1,300 miles. Recently installed new motor and gauges. Dash looks exactly like it did in 1959. The orange and white paint job is in good shape with no major dings or scratches. There are a few tiny bubbles in the paint as you can see in the pictures. The body is in decent shape. Right rear sliding window has a crack. No major cancerous rust ANYWHERE. Only rust spots are on the door steps, some around the drivers hinge, and a few minor spots on the floor board. Floor boards are in good shape other then the few spots mentioned above. Rear barn doors (Not clam shell doors) are in good shape and function properly. Doors, Hood and Rear Doors fit well like they did from the factory. The interior is nice. All four seats are bucket style seats. The two front seats are black leather with tan dvd head rest. The two rear seats are a tan cloth style seat. Undercarriage is clean and rust free. I have upgraded the following things: 1. New 350 crate motor 2. New radiator 3. New gas tank. (relocated filler hole near left rear barn door) 3. New wiper motors and wiper arms. 4. These Chevy Suburbans are getting harder to find... this one is in great restorable condition. The body is very solid and 95% rust free. It has the 235ci 6cyl engine with the 3 speed transmission and the column shift. It had sat for over 30 years until I brought it back to life. It runs great! It does have a little rust in the typical areas. on the front fenders and a small amount in the rear quarter panels. It is also missing the rear seat. Most of the glass will need replaced too (damn kids!) But the gas tank has been flushed and sealed, the radiator as well. Rebuilt carburetor, brakes, etc. Basically after the windshield is replaced, you can drive it as you restore it. Contact me with any questions.... I have 3 different GMC Suburban Carryalls for sale - this one is my very rare and very solid 100% original and untouched 1959 GMC Suburban Carryall from the Dry desert of West Texas. It is a one owner, low miles truck and is the highly sought after and rarer Deluxe cab model w/ chrome grill, chrome around the windshield and around the vent glasses, Chrome bumpers etc. It has its original 336 Pontiac V8 and 3 speed manual trans that are not locked up and the engine was very well taken care of by the original owner its whole life - was driven to where it was parked when I got it and would not take much more than a good battery and some brake work to get it going again. it's body is 95% rust free. Both doors are completely rust free and so is the whole floorboard and steps. Suburbans specifically end up with rusted out areas behind the rear tires and this is the only real area where you will need to do any welding or patching work other than a small area on the lower Right front fender where they all rust out. The front fenders are more solid than usual with no rust above the headlights, but the drivers side dented towards the back from the drivers door not shutting right and catching it. The Drivers door is super solid but needs a new door hinge on bottom or something because it sags when you open it, and it will not stay shut with the latch - might just need some oiling and tinkering to make it latch or I can give you a known good door latch out of another door if needed. Drivers door window will not roll up and down as the regulator is stripped out. I'm sure I have one somewhere here to replace it though. Hood is nice and straight, but hinges are bad and it wont close correctly. Has the deluxe heater and the super rare rear clamshell gates - not barn doors. Tailgate was removed and professionally repaired where the hinges were warping the outer skin from use, but its mint mint mint now and ready for repainting. Everything else is untouched and in factory yellow paint except the repaired tailgate. Original factory Yellow truck which is really cool and unusual. Has sliding windows and is in a rarely complete and nearly rust free Western-type condition for one of these if you know anything about one. Frame and all drivetrain etc are smooth and super nice from being in the desert - not all pitted and crusty like trucks from other parts of the country. Missing one piece of the slider window on the pass rear - simply use drivers rear pane as a template for your glass shop to cut one from. Windshield is broken and needs replacement ABOUT SHIPPING: I have a fellow named Robbie Tidwell from North Carolina who goes and gets all my trucks from all over the country on a simple open car hauler trailer, and he is solid gold - does a great job for less than anyone for delivery of non-running vehicles - when you know you are really serious about buying one of these suburbans, let me know and I will get you in touch with Robbie to get a shipping amount figured up. Suburbans are stored indoors and will be shipped from Joppa AL 35087 SUBRURBAN #2: I also have an identical 1958 GMC Suburban Carryall w/ barn doors with a similarly solid body that is more surface rusty etc, but its a factory 336 Pontiac V8 also, and known to run great PLUS its a rare rare factory automatic where the Yellow one is a 3 speed manual trans. Comes on a "roller" unrestored dirty 60-62 Chevrolet frame because its harder to hot rod a GMC frame because there are no V8 engine mounts on one of those where this Chevy frame does - still the correct frame for the truck unless you are planning to go with an original V6 in it. I have 3 different GMC Suburban Carryalls for sale - this one is my very rare and very solid 100% original and untouched 1958 GMC Suburban Carryall from Georgia originally. It is a solid truck and is the highly sought after and rarer Deluxe cab model w/ chrome grill (damaged GMC grill was replaced with a straight Chevy grill), chrome around the windshield and around the vent glasses, Chrome bumpers etc. It has its original 336 Pontiac V8 and very rare Hydramatic Auto trans that are not locked up and the engine was cranked and it ran great recently with no smoke to speak of - has new brakes and replacement lines where needed, and needs the new gas tank installed and a good battery to get it in driving shape. We might have this done by the time someone buys it - going to fetch it tomorrow and take it to the mechanics to let them do the gas tank swap. it's body is 95% rust free, with no rust in the floors but it has been repainted sometime years back, so there is some "wiping" done with filler here and there as expected. No reconstructive work appears to have been done so it was apparently always in good shape body-wise even before the repaint. Both doors are nice but not rust free and will need some bottom work as usual but better than most I have seen. Has barn doors added where it actually came from the factory with clams, and I have collected some clamshell parts to covert it back - might can work them into the deal if you are interested in switching it back to clams. This one has the super hard to find 3rd row rear seat as well. Pictures show the jump seat missing, and this is how I bought it, but I have acquired two of these so you will get one with it. The Story: I have owned Land Cruisers (1959-2005, all models) for more than 30 years, I think they are some of the finest vehicles to ever roam this planet. This Land Cruiser is my wife's current daily driver so the miles will increase a little day by day. This SUV was locally owned, adult driven, never off road, no pets, no smoking etc. Because this car hauls my family I have been extremely proactive with repairs and maintenance. I had a full safety inspection done the day I brought it home, below is a list of what has been done in the last year. Please note, my mechanic is a 17 yr ASE certified master tech, not some dude out back under a tree.Repair List:At 199K miles we did a full timing service including water pump, tensioner, timing belt, etc. all using factory Toyota parts, even the coolant is a Toyota product. I always run synthetic oil, also installed a K&N air cleaner and it has an Optima blue top battery. $1100Replaced front rotors and pads, also replaced the power antenna mast and windshield. $700Recently replaced the alternator, spark plugs, fuel pump, fuel filter and O2 sensors. $900100 series LCs are notorious for the plastic bumper covers and rubber side trim losing paint and showing wear so I had all the bumpers and trim repainted silver a few months ago. $500I installed a new set of 265/75/16 Cooper AT tires less than a year ago, they are at about 90% tread. $850I just had the hi/lo range sensor replaced on the transfer case, the rear locker works flawlessly. $350Condition, Options and Drivetrain: The body and paint are excellent, well above average, absolutely no rust, ever, we are a very dry climate and we do not use salt here in the 4 corners area. Under the hood is a very strong 4.7 V8 engine, auto transmission, AWD etc. The non smoking heated leather interior is super nice, equipped with keyless entry, power seats, windows, locks, cruise control, tint, front/rear AC/heat, AM/FM/CD, sun roof, roof rack, running boards, fog lights and more, everything works as it should. I will have this car pro detailed before delivery, otherwise this car needs nothing, is ready to roll and will not disappoint you. Though in excellent overall condition, this is a used 18 year old SUV and as you would expect there are imperfections, scratches, dings, wear, etc. I am being very "nit-picky" on some of this stuff because I value my reputation/feedback. There is some wear on the edge of the inside top of the drivers door (see photos) There is some peeling on the black window trim, a common 100 series issue (see photos) There is a small chip in the windshield that has been filled/repaired. The 2 little storage nets on the back of both front seats show some wear (see photos)The cover is missing (might be in there???) on the center console cup holder.The power windows are a little slow in the winter cold, a common cruiser issue.The seat belt in the rear center seat does not retract.The steering wheel leather showed wear so I put a nice looking leather cover over it (see photos)The rear jump seats were missing when I purchased the car. My Camry runs great, I've driven it 15k miles since last year. Unfortunately I am not able to register it with the paperwork I have so I will be selling it strictly as a PARTS CAR. It has a few small door dings, and some minor scuffs on the bumpers but is overall a very nice car. The A/C is really cold, and it gets almost 30mpg on the highway. 2004 Pontiac GTO The GTO was reintroduced in 2004 after a thirty year absence from the Pontiac lineup. They were built by GM Holden Ltd, an Australian subsidiary of General Motors on a Holden Monaro VZ chassis on the limited import of around 15,000 units. Mine has just under 107k miles on it, and is the desired Black/Black with a 6-speed manual! Sometime in its life an RKSports Ram Air hood and aftermarket trunk spoiler were installed. It also has Longtube headers, free flowing dual exhuast and cat converter delete (these 3 items being not legal for on-road use in CA), it is loud...just the way it should be! Fitted with an aftermarket hurst shifter, it is very comfortable to shift, and really moves out if you choose to do so. If you want to smog this car in CA, then the headers will need to be replaced with smog legal ones and catalytic converters will need to be installed... but if you live any other place than smog nazi California then you`ll get to enjoy the way she sounds and the increased performance! I would trust her to drive anywhere in the country. I just put brand new tires on the front (only 100 miles on them), there are no check lights on the dash and it'll get in the low to mid 20's mpg if you keep your foot out of it. Comes with a clean and clear CA title in my name and ready for transfer. Cons/Needs: ~Has a small Oil leak (haven't diagnosed from where) ~Clear coat is starting to fail on roof/trunk and tops of the fenders ~Lots of rock chips & scratches on the frontend (see pic) ~Driver seat stitching coming apart (common on these) ~6 Disc CD player... ehhh, it sucks....barely works ~Front bumper lower grill is included (in the trunk) ~The gas gauge just quit working a week ago ~Needs rear tires... Check out my store for more great Unique and Classic Cars. This car runs is a good runner but has been sitting awhile so is going to need some work to get it running. It has the Big Block 400 with a 4-Speed Manual Transmission which makes this car a blast to drive. I used to start these cars up once a month or so to keep all the seals tight and the cars running but have not been able to keep up on that for awhile. This car was a runner before I parked it and I'm sure wouldn't take much to get it going again. Maybe even just a battery. The fuel should be drained as its 4-5 years old Who knows you may replace a Fuel pump Water pump or something But a Bit of tinkering and this car is set to go the pictures were from last summer so maybe a sticker is more peeled up or some minor something but this is a Tight car that is a Orig 4spd 400 Trans Am. Drive it around and Enjoy it until you decide to pull it apart and restore it..;-) Its a great driving car. This Project will make someone a GREAT Investment car But NO you cannot hop in it and drive it to Florida... No i wouldent do it after you drained the fuel either it has not been on a trip that long in God knows how long. The exterior of this car is beautiful. It is a bright orange in color with the big black and silver bird on the hood and matching decals. The paint is in very good shape still and shines up nice. It is a little faded right now just from sitting but when buffed comes out very nice. This car does have a sunroof which someone put in and should be sealed up when restored it isnt a leaker though although im sure it will at some point. The body is very straight on this car and it doesn't have any visible rust. The previous owner installed a few extra exterior lights which you can see. Has a very cool set of aftermarket Gold Wire Wheels and a set of White Walls Tires that really give this car a unique look. They also put fender flares on the car which really makes it look unique. I have never seen them Before This is a 2 Owner car that came from Arizona and never seen the road in the winter anywhere it is ready to tinker around on...;-). Options: 400 4-Speed Aftermarket Wheels Fender Flares The interior is in really good condition on this car. It has the black interior with vinyl seats. The seats are actually in very good shape. The front seats have seat covers on them which have kept them protected. The carpets are not in that great of shape and should probably be replaced.
