1955 Caddy convertible. This car has had a body off restoration ,the frame was sandblasted and painted gray with suspension detailed. It now has 4 wheel disk brakes with a 1958 larger brake booster and adjustable air ride suspension on all 4 corners which lower the car bout 5 inches from ride height. The engine a original 331 cu.in. that was rebuilt stock and the trans is a turbo 400 also completely rebuilt.The interior and trunk is all redone in gray and the power top which is new is black.The wheels are 18 inch Boss with goodyear p245/45r18 tires on all 4 corners. The exterior car handles are shaved and open with a remote control key fob, hood and trunk ornaments and emblems also are removed for a nice clean appearance. Car also has power windows and power front which all work perfectly. All the lights and signals work as they should. The body is straight as a arrow and the paint is beautiful. This car was built right. Also has a very nice sounding stereo system mounted in stock location in dash with amp and speakers in the trunk. The bumpers are all redone with Mira - Chrome and look amazing on the car. Also has original syle air cleaner on motor. The car starts easy and runs like a top. See video of motor running. THE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER WHICH HAS BEEN UP GRADED FROM A SINGLE RESERVOIR TO A DUAL RESERVOIR. THE POWER,VACUUM ANTENNA HAS BEEN CHANGED TO AN ELECTRIC ANTENNA. I PAINTED THE CAR IN 2011. AS FAR AS I CAN TELL, INTERIOR IS ORIGINAL. THE SPEED-O-METER WORKS AND SOME OF THE ORIGINAL GAUGES WORK, BUT NOT ALL. I INSTALLED A GAUGE PACK RATHER THAN FIX THEM. I am relisting this car because the buyer put an offer on the car without having seen the car and did not have the funds to pay for it. This is a nice 1952 Cadillac convertible survivor. It has been in storage since the 1970's. At that time, it had a light restoration. It has the rare continental kit. This is not a show car, but a very nice car with all of the right options that make it a worthwhile investment. The body is paint code No. 1, which is black. The paint is in nice condition. The sides are nice and straight. A lot of the chrome has been rechromed. The interior is red leather. It will need a new top as you can see in the photos. I have not tried to operate the power windows or top, so they will need to be lubricated. The frame is in excellent condition. The trunk is solid, with no rust holes. It has the original interior in the trunk. There is one rust hole on the driver's side floor. It will need carpeting. The interior is in good condition, but some of the stitching on the leather seats will need to be redone. The motor runs quiet. It has new exhaust and gas tank. From sitting, the brakes will need to be freed up. Also, the carburetor should be rebuilt. I have only driven the car around my yard, and it runs nice and quiet. It has good tires. It seems to shift smoothly. It is missing two bottom chrome strips. Since it has been in storage, it should have a complete mechanical check-over before driving on the road. The car has a clear Wisconsin title in my name. Please ask any and all questions you may have before bidding. I fully intend to sell this car, so do not place an offer or bid unless you intend to purchase the car. Also, you are welcome to come and inspect the car in person. I can store the car safely in my garage until the buyer can make arrangements to pick it up.
