Austin Healey Sprite MKII 1961 or 1962 whole or partsNice body. Someone already started restoration before I bought it. There are a ton more photos below.some new parts (mostly suspension, steering, and brakes), two engines, two transmissions, two sets of gauges, two sets of windshield trim, to pairs of headlights, two pairs of taillights, etc.grille, seats, and windshield glass are missingI haven't had either engine running, but both of them turn freely. Will sell everything for $1300 or part out if I don't get any takers for the whole car.I do not have a title for the car. Thanks for looking.BTW, Austin Healey Sprite MKII is the same thing as the MG Midget MKI.The Midget differed from the Sprite only in its grille design, badging, color options and having both leather seats and more external chrome trim as standard to justify its higher purchase price.
1960 Austin-Healey Sprite ("Bugeye"). Same owner 30+ years. Recent restoration (2013). Concours award winner. This car is done in colors matching the original build records from 1960, including black tonneau and top. Original engine (rebuilt and fitted with hardened valve seats) and transmission. Everything works. Since the concours showing in 2013 the car has been fitted with wire wheels from a later car, new radial tyres (less than 1000 miles on tyres), front disk brakes, and an aftermarket K and N air filter. All removed original parts (slotted disk wheels with Dunlop bias ply 5.20-13 tyres, drum brake assy's, original air cleaners) are included with the sale. Hagerty's site values these cars at between $22,300 ("excellent" condition) and $34,000 ("concours" condition). NADA site tops out at $41,000 ("high retail"). 1965 Austin Healey Sprite convertible survivor. Very low mileage at 83,100, on a 49 year old garage kept, historic vehicle. British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate has been ordered for this Sprite. It is the AN8, Mark III. This is the first year with the roll up windows and external door handles. I purchased this car from a private collection in Colorado. It had been in this family collection for over 25 years. It is the1.1L, 1098 CC, 67 Cu. In. Gas OHV Naturally Aspirated engine. Engine number is 10-CG-DA-H12278 Cream white with red interior. Maintained as a collector car. Excellent body condition and runs very well. Just over 84k miles. Serviced through British Car mechanics with recent new tires, brakes, tune up, rear axle seals, steering rack boots, fuel pump. Drives flawlessly, accelerates and transitions gears well (1st gear not synchronized), handles well even at 65 mph with no steering issues. I also have a couple of boxes of parts that I will include with the sale of this car. Car is currently titled and registered in Arizona and is displaying Historic Vehicle Tags. Hagerty values these sprites between $7,800 and $16,800. I am only asking $12,200 for this little gem. This car has not been restored and is a survivor. As such, there are a few flaws in the paint and the interior, but as you can see from the pictures, the car displays extremely well. Open to interesting offers or trades.
