Rare twin stick, one owner, barn find. Car was last licensed in 1984 and has just been brought out of a 30 year sleep. The car was taken into a shop and now runs and drives. The tires were put on in 1982 and should be replaced (they are bias ply). The car appears to have had 1 paint job and also had the front seats redone at some point. This is a rust free car-solid underneath. The rust shown in the quarters is not all the way through. This is a wonderful car to redo or drive as is. The hoses will need to be replaced as well as the belts. The car is in need of an antenna. It is equipped with PS, air (compressor kicks in-needs freon) and AM/FM radio. The title is clear and is in the original owners name as well as a death certificate as his wife signed off on it (she is in a nursing home). Beautiful chrome-never abused, 49 year old example of AMC. Feel free to call me at 701-205-6906 for any questions as well. Thank you.

Hello, Up for auction is a 1965 Rambler Ambassador 990 4 door sedan. This is a real rare find. This was a one owner car until a friend purchased the car in 2002. I bought it from him three years ago. The car was purchased new in Tampa FL in 1965. I have most of the paperwork including the original Bill of Sale, copy of the original title and records of maintenance. This car is loaded with options. Original 327ci , 270hp factory Holley 4 Barrel carb, automatic, twin grip rearend drivetrain with 59215 miles. The car is also optioned with Air Conditioning (needs servicing), Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Solex Glass, AM/FM Radio that works, Wire Wheel Covers, Tilt, Door Edge Guards, Vent Visors on the doors. All original equipment. Seats still have plastic covers on them. Front seat plastic is cracking though. I was going to remove them but thought I would leave it original. Some of the recent repairs have been. Brand New Platinum 7-Year Battery last weekend, Rebuilt the Carb, Tune-up, Complete new Brakes. Master Cylinder, Brake Booster, All Shoes, Wheel Cylinders, Hardware Kits. Power Steering Pump and Steering Gear. Shocks all the way around. NOS Right Front Fender painted and installed. Like new Radial Tires. The car runs smooth and doesn’t burn oil. Drives great as well, goes straight down the road. Very quiet as well. No rattles. If you close your eyes you would never know you are riding in a classic car. All the lights work inside and out. Power Windows work great. All glass is in good condition. The car is from FL so very clean body. Will need some tinkering inside, mainly carpet, door windlace, drivers side visor. The paint is a little darker on the new fender. The paint on the rest of the car is average condition. Looks good for a driver. Floors and Trunk are solid. The trunk has some rusty stained areas in a few places. Same with the front floors. The carpet underlayment is exposed which is shown in the pic. Windshield wiper motor is weak. Two others are included. The entire heating and A/C isn’t operational either, it is complete but needs to be gone through. It never mattered to us as we have only driven it on nice days anyway. Includes a lot of extra rambler parts as well as a 1965 Motors Repair Manual and Rambler Literature. On Jul-24-14 at 17:41:21 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention that I have a new reprint of the Factory Rambler Shop Manual. Also a couple of fellow AMC ebayers from Wisconsin stopped over and looked at the car last weekend. They both thought my description was accurate and I represented the car very well. They even enjoyed taking the car for a ride. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere. Thanks!

This 1965 Rambler Ambassador is the top of the line car, with the most luxurious options and features available! It's the desirable 2 door hardtop body style, and, best of all, It has been in one family's care since it was purchased new in Texas in 1965! They took excellent care of this car, maintaining it properly and giving it some very expensive service, such as a rebuilt engine, rear axle, and much more! . It's beautiful in the original color of Frost White and 2 toned blue interior, a combination of dark blue and aqua that is very pleasing . this is the actual original window sticker, when Mr. John Hargrove of Ft. Worth, Texas bought the car new! . $3828 .15 was a lot of dough in 1965 ! . I love the profile of this car, especially with all the windows down! This car is Officially the Rambler Ambassador 990 H. Note the nice tailights with extra chrome trim, the trim on top of the fenders, the full Ambassador only wheelcovers, and some other things not visible in this photo. 287 V-8 Engine! Bucket Seats! Factory Air Conditioning! Power Steering and brakes! Padded sunvisors! Automatic Transmission! Heater! Radio! As you can see it's luxuriously equipped, much nicer than the run of the mill Rambler! . And here is the original Warranty card in the original owner's manual! I love it when these delivery documents survive! . . That's the original chrome and trim, and it's in excellent condition! . The Vice President of Automotive Sales of Rambler sent Mr. Hargrove a letter, thanking him for "Choosing Rambler for '65!" . . Quad Stacked Headlights, de riguer for the luxury car of the 1960's ! Cadillac Had 'em, and so do we! . Nice ! . . Although 1986 might seem like a long time ago, the engine was completely rebuilt with .030 overbore then. And, it has only travelled 13,000 miles since ! It's nice to have this documentation of the mechanical work. And, i can tell you the car runs beautifully, that engine runs great! . More recently, in 2001, the rear axle and torque tube were out and rebuilt. . . The paint job looks pretty recent, and it's a good commercial paint job in the original color, and color sanded and buffed, and looks sharp. Not perfect but nice. . Another great Ambassador Feature - the 6 bar trunk trim that matches the tail lights! And those tail lights are beautiful too, nice and clear. . Nice tail lights! The chrome is really good original on the bumpers and trunk trim. . this car has one of the nicest original interiors I've seen in a long time! It's just gorgeous! . Excellent doorpanels with beautiful wood trim accents. . The steering wheel is awesome, with brilliant colors and no cracks! This car was garaged for most of it's life, and it shows! . Wow! Almost like being at the Rambler dealer! . Another sign of the car leading a good life - excellent seat backs, done in plastic, that are sharp and clean. Also note - Bucket seats! . When we got the car, we had the front seat cushion bottoms re-done in the exact original fabric from SMS auto trim. Everything else is original! The carpeting is awesome for being original, but it does show some age. . The back seats are all original, with just a hint of splitting at the center seam, you can see it in this photo. . Beautiful dashboard. . there's a teeny crack in the dash, visible in this photo, a little to the left of the air vent. . Another sign of a well treated car - a nice original glovebox. . Those foam padded sunvisors were optional, and they're in excellent condition! . The 287 V-8 was completely rebuilt with receipts from 1986. it's only clocked about 13,000 miles since the work was done. It runs beautifully, nice, smooth, quiet and powerful. . Not show detailed, but all stock and correct. . Note the Factory A/C. It's all hooked up but doesn't blow cold air. . Gas tank was renewed / sealed, and you can see the clean rear axle housing - the recipient of a recent rebuild. The transmission was done too - it's a torque tube driveshaft. . super solid and rust free, a documented Texas car from new, and then about 15 years in sunny Southern California. . Clean and rust free! . I noticed some body filler used just ahead of the rear fender opening,. I also noticed 2 small dings in the left front fender. It's a good paint job, but not a perfect Pebble Beach quality effort. A nice car but not a show car. . Looks like they tried sealing the rear window gasket with a bit of Silicone. . Very clean and original trunk - that's the original floor mat! It's brittle but still the original one! . The trunk floopan is the original and really good, although it looks like some surface rust was sanded and painted over . . The reason this trunk mat stayed so nice? they custom made a trunk mat cover from indoor-outdoor carpeting! So when I threw that stuff out, this is what I found! I love obsessive original owners! . Beautiful Ambassador Hubcaps. Note the Eagle / Shield symbol of the Ambassador! . Here's a shot with the quarter window raised. . As we take the final view, notice the nearly new tires ! The American was the second incarnation of AMC's forerunner Nash Motors second-generation Rambler compact that was sold under the Nash and Hudson Motors marques from 1954 and 1955. The American can be classified in three distinct model year generations: 1958 to 1960, 1961 to 1963, and 1964 to 1969. During the entire length of its production, the car was sold under the Rambler brand name, and was the last Rambler named automobile marketed in the Canadian and United States markets. The compact Rambler American was most often the lowest priced car built in the U.S. It was popular for its economy in ownership, as was proven by numerous Mobilgas Economy Run championships. Located at the Dezer Car Museum. Where we have over 1200 eye popping cars and counting! Real estate developer and collector Michael Dezer fulfilled a longtime dream when he opened his extraordinary automobile and memorabilia collection, Miami’s Auto Museum at The Dezer Collection Museum, to the public. Encompassing over 250,000-square-feet, the museum features more than 1,000 of the most unique and eclectic vehicles held in any private collection in the world. The museum’s nine exhibitions are positioned within lifelike dioramas that depict the historical period and origin of the automobiles on display. Guests can trace the evolution of the automobile through exhibits showcasing American classics from all eras, rare European classics, military cars, electric cars, micro-cars, bicycles, classic motorcycles, and more. Noting his passion for collecting began with his first vehicle — a Vespa given to him by his father at age 16 in his native Israel — Dezer today owns the largest collection of Vespas worldwide. An exhibit sure to fascinate both young and old, the museum’s Hollywood “Star” car exhibition showcases cars featured in some of Hollywood’s most celebrated movies, including the 1948 Ford “Greased Lightning” from Grease, 1959 Cadillac “Ecto-1” from Ghostbusters, 1981 Delorean “Time Machine” from Back to the Future, and the Mach 5 Speed Racer from Speed Racer Enterprises, among many others. The “Cars of the Stars” exhibition is complemented by the museum’s James Bond exhibition, which features a world-renowned collection of automobiles, submarines, airplanes, boats and memorabilia that appeared in one of Hollywood’s leading film franchises. One-of-a-kind concepts such as an indoor drive-in movie theatre and a wax figure museum further the Miami’s Auto Museum at The Dezer Collection Museum’s unique mix. In addition to its outstanding collection of vehicles and memorabilia, the museum offers a distinctive 75,000-square-foot event venue, the Dezer Showplace, perfect for hosting events of up to 1,500 guests.

1971 Ford Torino GT Sport Coupe 2dr (63F) Finished in Grabber Green (Z) with Med. Green Knitted Vinyl Buckets Seats (YR) with console shift automatic C6 (U) it has a factory ribbon tach in the dash, rim blow horn, hide away headlights, rear window slats or louvers. The car was found few months back in a barn in mid western Ontario. I have been told that it has a monster 460 cu.in engine which was told to me that it was one car to be reconded with in this local area. Know by many as a street fighter of the day. Would beat up on all the local Chevy's and Mopars back in the day. The good thing is the man who owned this car removed the very rare DOVE-A 4 bolt main block. So it makes this a great car to restore due the fact the original #'s matching block is in the trunk with the original correct water pump, cooling fan, shroud, and rad . The original DOOE-R cylinder heads are on the engine in the car. The original intake is lost in action along with the original carb. and distributor. The car has several areas of rust on it. It is a very restorable car. Has some nice options on it as mentioned before. The car was sitting for many years due the fact the owner passed away and was waiting for his estate to be straightened up. It was just released few months ago and sold, I could not let this rare car slip through my fingers so I snapped it up. So it could be passed on to somebody who would like a rare old Ford muscle car to restore. With great options on it. The car retains all of its original glass. Bumpers are straight, all of the important pieces are there and intact as we know hunting those parts can be hard. VIN is 1H35J208763 which is matched on the Door tag, Dash VIN ID Plate, Title, and on engine block. Please review the attached Martri Report. Please note I have not tried to start this car due the amount of time it has been sitting it turns free with socket and ratchet. Needs Fluids changed and fuel tank cleaned plugs should be changed and cyl oiled before running. If you have any questions please contact me and will answer as accurately and as fast as I can even backed up by photos. I would be glad to help import this car back into the USA and transport it to Detroit Mich. or Buffalo N.Y. area for transport to your address any where in the USA for the cost of the Broker Fees and Manifest of $450.00 and small cost of $200.00 shipping to either place. I will and can deliver anywhere in the USA for the cost of shipping by enclosed trailer if you wish the personal service. I also will take to any ports for overseas shipping to anywhere. I will help get this car anywhere in the world to help out. Services can be in an enclosed trailer. I have been asked by several buyers if the Rad, Rad shroud, Cooling fan, fan spacer, water pump are correct and original. I inspected these items and are correct and in decent shape, only one thing I may note is the shroud has a small crack in it but would be an easy fix. I have seen a Marti report and all the options on the car are listed on it and are correct to this vehicle. So this makes this car very worth restoring back to its former glory. Do to its rare colour and options. Also will be easy to do being that all the parts are there with the exception of the factory am/fm radio. If you would like to make an offer to end auction early feel free to do so. I will remove this car from the auction early if sold through other means. If you are a serious buyer I have may pictures of the car which I can email to your email address. But unfortunately there are not many of the underside due to no hoist. Sorry but it has some holes in frt. drivers & pass side and has scalely rust, it would benefit from new floor pans which are available. this car needs attention and body repairs but well worth the effort. The last auction ended with it selling and due to issue with buyer not having his affairs in order. I have canceled the sale and are moving on. So please if you are purchasing the car make sure you understand that the winning bid makes you an owner. Not give you the right to make an appointment to book a flight and inspect. Please do it before you offer to purchase. Understand that the car is in Ontario Canada and is easily imported in to the USA for a Brokers Fees as noted. Any further Questions please do not hesitate to contact myself and I will answer as honestly and correctly as I can. I will show this car to any prospective purchasers or agents just make an appointment I am 2 hours east of Detroit Mi. and 3 hours west of Buffalo NY. just ask.
