Up for your consideration is one very original 1983 AMC Concord DL woody wagon. I have owned this wagon twice and was recently traded back to me by a local doctor. It draws attention everywhere she goes, even in the midst of much more expensive cars. Wagon has what appears to be original paint and I have found no rust on her, other than maybe a little surface variety underneath. Options include AC, automatic transmission, AM/FM, power locks,roof rack and more. The straight 6 engine drives out fine and the AC is cold. Transmission shifts fine, but like most any old car, it will leak when it sits for an extended time.The hood release bracket mount is broken but functional. Rear hatch works fine and security cover is still present.I'm constanntly amazed at the attention this car draws. Local inspection is available by appointment. You are bidding on a nice little wagon, but it is a 31 year old car. Do not expect to get nor pay for a show car. AL residents pay 2.75% sales tax plus $15 title fee. Lauderdale, FL: There were under 200 made, some say 196 and only a handful left in existence today.The conversions were done in 1981 and carried into part of 1982 using the AMC Concord Limited or DL and Eagle 4x4. (It would be interesting to know the break out between these 3 models) This true survivor was purchased in MA by the second owner in 1987 and only driven 18 miles till garaged in 1991. We are selling as a restoration, although we have or will be doing a few maintenance repairs, as it has been off road 23 yrs.When put into storage the owner filled the motor with oil to keep it from binding, we have since given it an oil/filter change, but it does smoke on and off. We have not driven it but a few miles since we bought it. The car will crank but will not start without using a fuel bottle We drained the tank but think we have a relay out or a bad Fuel Pump. It will fire off and run if you hook a bottle with fuel in it. It just won’t pump the fuel up from the tank. Has a fuel delivery issue. Some of the rubberized undercoating is coming off. Paint on hood is dry and faded along with other spots too. So spots on the paint is checkering. Misc dings and chips/scratches. Back passenger quarter has a scrape/ding. Corrosion on the chrome wheels. Missing a lug nut on 2 different wheels. Little corrosion on doors by the rubber trim pieces. Wood on ashtray need glued back on. Excess tape residue on drives side. Carpet is faded a little. Driver’s seat is a little worn. Needs tires. I really like these Grey Market Cars that were custom ordered and shipped here from Germany. It will crack over and will run with some fuel but then dies after a minute or two. The exterior of this car is beautiful. The White Paint looks pretty good. I do believe that the front end has been repainted. The clear coat is peeling in a few spots as you will see in the video. The body on this car looks so cool with the Euro Bumpers. It gives it more character and does make it stand out a little more than the others..;-) These little two door cars have a very sporty feel to them and handle like a dream. All of the Chrome is in Great Shape and shines beautifully in the sun. The wheel wells still have the Original Factory Undercoating. Mercedes Bunt Wheels. After that I just had to drive it around some and have been having a ball with it. Like I said it has been sitting for a little while so I would not take it on a cross country trip just yet..;-)The exterior of this car is clean, but the paint is dry and faded and the wood grain done at some point, but is not all rusty or anything it has just been sitting out in the sun, like I show in the video below. Or you can leave it and drive it like it is...;-) It has more room than most people need and even has the 3rd Row Rear Facing Back Seat. So you will have room enough for everone. Or lay the middle seat down and it would also make a great work truck/wagon. There is plent of room for just about anything you would need to haul. The Chrome looks great and the those big ol' bumpers and the grill shine so nice in the sun. It has been sitting for a little while and now it won’t start but I am sure with a little tinkering you will have it running in no time. Like I said this is qa light project car that just needs a little bit of work and it will be a great driver. Options:4 Speed Manual TransmissionFactory Radio The White Seats and Door Panels really Look Good and the White just pops when you open the door, It really accents the blue paint. There are a few stains in the seats that should come off with a good cleaning. It does not have the original floor mats, it did not have any in it when I got it and I had an extra set from a different car and thru them in here. This car is all here and will be a great car with just a little TLC. We drove this over to my parents house and it drove good, but felt like it was lacking in power. Then it started leaking fuel and we got that fixed. Then it sat for the last few months and now we can't get it to start, I am not sure why, I believe it may be a fuel delivery problem, but I am not 100% sure. It could be anything. It just needs someone who has the time and knowledge to work on it. I wish it was me, but right now I don't have the time.
