Menu Price $19947.00!  Beautifully restored 1973 Javelin in a period correct Bold Baby Blue!  Originally a maroon car, she appears to have the original black interior.  We believe she was purchased new right here in San Antonio.  The 360cid motor was built by a well known machinist here in San Antonio and is mated to a manual 4spd transmission.  Common in the seventies, a prior owner added the ram air holes in the air cleaner and the owner that did the restoration did do some minor rust repair.  Overall, she is an excellent representation of an American muscle car from her time.  The motor pulls strong, she drives fantastic, and would make an excellent addition to a collection and is priced has a great first car for an aspiring collector.  Come by and see her at Jordan Motorcars, 11919 IH10, San Antonio, Texas 78230 or visit us on the web at  call william at 210-279-4949  http://www.jordanmotors10west.com

For sale in our Detroit showroom is a 1970 AMC AMX. The AMX is a two-seat GT-style sports car that was produced by American Motors Corporation from 1968 to 1970. The AMX was also classified as a muscle car, but differed from other American cars at the time because of its short wheelbase. The name AMX is actually an acronym for American Motors eXperimental, which was a code assigned to concept vehicles in the mid-sixties. The AMX was also the only American-built steel-bodied two-seater of its time, the first since the 1955-1957 Ford Thunderbird , and rivaled the only other two-seat American muscle car: the Chevrolet Corvette. With a short three-year production run, the AMX was discontinued in 1970, and was replaced by the Javelin from %26acirc;??71-%26acirc;??74. This wild AMX makes quite the statement with the Ranger Splash Purple covering the cool and vintage bodylines. Under the hood is a 360 V8 that has been bored out to a 390, and with the sides pipes, produces a loud rumble that will turn some heads every time the pedal hits the floor. Since 3 pedals make a classic a blast to cruise around in, this AMC has an M-22 Muncie 4-speed. To keep with the pro-street theme, the car has been backhalfed and tubbed to fit the huge 33X21.50-15LT Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires, and the rear end is a Ford 9-inch with a 5.13 gears. The interior has been worked on as well, and features a 10-point rollcage, and no back seat to make room for the rear tires. The dash features Autometer gauges to monitor engine functions, and the seats also have Simpson racing harnesses to firmly hold you in place during hard launches. Options on the car include: aluminum/alloy wheels. If you want a wild and powerful muscle car with unforgettable looks and plenty of ponies under the hood, the call today to put it in your garage! Located in our Detroit showroom, this 1970 AMX can be viewed in greater detail, including HD photos and video, at www.GatewayClassicCars.com, or call (313)-982-3100 for more information. Rare twin stick, one owner, barn find. Car was last licensed in 1984 and has just been brought out of a 30 year sleep. The car was taken into a shop and now runs and drives. The tires were put on in 1982 and should be replaced (they are bias ply). The car appears to have had 1 paint job and also had the front seats redone at some point. This is a rust free car-solid underneath. The rust shown in the quarters is not all the way through. This is a wonderful car to redo or drive as is. The hoses will need to be replaced as well as the belts. The car is in need of an antenna. It is equipped with PS, air (compressor kicks in-needs freon) and AM/FM radio. The title is clear and is in the original owners name as well as a death certificate as his wife signed off on it (she is in a nursing home). Beautiful chrome-never abused, 49 year old example of AMC. Feel free to call me at 701-205-6906 for any questions as well. Thank you.

My AMX is on the way so I would like to free up the shop some. ANYTHING INTERESTING TO TRADE? 1974 AMC Gremlin drag car. Photo shows an engine, but the engine and tranny are NOT included. Set up for small block chevy with 3 speed automatic. Sub frames properly connected by the roll cage. I had the local NHRA tech inspector go through the car. He requested some gussets be installed, which we did, and he certified the car for 10 second flat times. That is at my track-your track may be different. New front tires and new seat belts. The car was just painted also. I choose to just paint the hood without doing any bodywork to it and my plans were to add an aftermarket fiberglass hood later, so the hood is not in the best of shape. I have extra paint that goes with the car. The differential is a 9" Ford with 5:13 gears and 3 link ladder bar style rear suspension. Rear tires are 14 X 32. As you can see the car has also been lightened but I have not scaled it and estimate the weight at 2200 lbs. To hit the track, you will need an engine, transmission, finish a bit of the wiring and install new lexan windows. I have the old ones for the patterns, but they are really not usable-very scratched. Not sure what the axles are in the differental. This is a cool unique car but I have a nice AMC engine and am looking to switch to an AMX. There is no title available with this car. It is not currently street legal. Questions? My cell is 701-205-6906. TRADES???? Thank you, Dean

Please let me start with what I have been told by the Rebel Machine community - This car is one of one. It is the only known Frost White, blue vinyl top, and blue interior Machine produced. If anyone knows different, please feel free to let me know. It is not my intention to mislead anyone. There were 1000 white ones with the red, white, and blue accents but this is a true Frost White car. The car is being sold as a roller-no engine or transmission. I have rebuilt several AMX's and this car is a great candidate for restoration. I ran a magnet over the entire car and the only place I encountered bondo was below the passenger side rear marker light. The car has basically been a drag car for the past 30 years. Most all of the racing related items have been removed except for the roll cage, shocks, torsion bars, and rear axles. The car has solid floors and trunk but is in need of body work. The glass is all good. The trim is quite nice and I only see 2 piecies missing-the driver side rear window corner and a piece on the passenger side where the vinyl top trim meets the rear side glass. The car is lacking the front seats and gas tank. The roll cage is only surface welded and is a relatively easy removal. I have a radio for the car as well as the stock rear axles, springs, and assorted misc. items all stashed in the trunk. I have also purchased the chrome shifter plate and shifter for the console. THE FRONT WHEELS AND TIRES ARE NOT INCLUDED. The interior in readily available through Lengendary. The car will come with roller stock tires and wheels-I do not have the Machine wheels-nothing special. The differential needs new gears as the teeth are damaged but I have included a replacement set of 4:1- gears-currently the ratio in the car. The rear bumper and tail lights are excellant-the front bumper needs to be redone. The hood has had the scoop replaced with a non-tach scoop and will need the proper scoop replaced on it-I have a plate and seal for the hood in the trunk but no air cleaner. This car is a 390, automatic, PS, PB, and air conditioning car. I also have the brake booster in the trunk. I hope the pictures provide you the oinformation you are looking for. However, feel free to call me at 701-205-6906 if you have concerns. Thank you, Dean On Apr-27-14 at 14:43:44 PDT, seller added the following information: I would also like to add I have the filler neck for the gas tank but not the gas tank itself. On Apr-29-14 at 17:12:27 PDT, seller added the following information: I stand corrected. There is another Frost white car on the Rebel Registry, however it has black interior and no mention of the vinyl top. I still believe this is one of one-not another one like it was built.

For sale is this 1972 Javelin. This car was in a accident in 1976 and until recently was stored inside-unmolested. There is a pile of great usable parts on this car. Doors, floors, frames, trunk, everything has not been eaten away by rust. The only rust is a small portion on the exterior of the driver side lower quarter. The glass is all good and the trim is quite nice. The grill is a nice as you will find and the tail lights are excellent also. The car rolls but we had to cut the brake drums off to get it to do so. The car was originally dark brown with tan interior. It had a 304 and 3 speed manual on the floor-no longer with the car. I have a fender to replace the bad one on the drivers side and have an extra hood as well. I can get a title but it will take a fair amount of time but is possible. Please call me with questions. I am re-listing the car hoping someone will keep me from parting this out and selling it for scrap.-----------------------------------------------------Bought this car (saved it from the crusher) as a restoration project with my son. Divorce has forced a sale and with deep regret we need to depart with the project. This VIN number indicates it's an original 390 4-speed car. Door tag says it's an SST with a rare blue interior. If all true, the car appears to be pretty rare. ((PlanetHoustonAMX.com (Long-time AMC reputable source) has suggested only 2730 produced. Of that, I do not know how many were 4-speed cars)I do not have the original title but I do have: New York State Department of Motor Vehicles Retail Certificate of Sale for the vehicle (with VIN#), Vehicle Purchase agreement from the dealer whom I bought the car from (with VIN#), and the NY State Registration Renewal card from the previous owner dated back to 1980 (with VIN#). (see pic). All of them have matching VIN numbers so obtaining a new title (if required in your state) should not be a problem. In Illinois these documents are acceptable for a title replacement. But if you are unsure of your state, you can always use broadwaytitle.com. They are very good and easy to use. I believe this car is a Mark Donohue edition (original spoiler, options, etc) but as most AMC enthusiast know without original dealer documentation to prove it's authenticity, it's simply a Javelin. Most of the interior is there (blue door panels, blue seats, kick panels, dash parts, 140mph speedo, etc.) but of course it needs restoration. All the glass and mechanisms are there but missing the outside window trim. The body is relatively solid (for a 44 year old car). Most importantly the areas of concern are sound. i.e. shock towers, windshield A-pillars, roof, radiator support braces, leaf spring mounts, etc. Doors are OK with a few dings. Ram Air hood and Trunk lid have slight surface rust on the undersides but are also in great shape. However it does need fenders, quarters, and inner rocker panels (as do all AMC Javelins). Trunk floor pans and seat floor pans are OK. The car has a 3:54 axle with no drive train. I am listing the car as-is and the price does NOT include an engine or transmission. The car is in dry storage and can be seen by appointment. It took a lot to save this car and I had it shipped from NY to keep it from the crusher. I know I could recoup my costs and make a profit by parting it out, but as a life-long AMC collector, that goes against every fiber in my being. So, I would like to sell the car to someone with intentions to restore it (or at least lie to me and tell me you will) and prefer not to part it out. The price listed is exactly what I have into the car. I don't want to make money on it..only to pass it on. Feel free to ask me any questions at all.

Up for sale is my 83 cj-7, ive had this project for about five years and have a alot of good times with it but its time to move on to the next. I'll list the downers first, the paint is rattle can black, unfortunatley this is how it was when i bought it, i have just touched it off after wheeling, the transmission pops out of first gear, it feels like a worn out fork to me but i cant say for sure with out opening it up, I would do so but my current job situation has kept me out of state the majority of this year and i do not have time to mess with it. It has the t5 trans, i was looking into doing the chevy sm465 conversion, if that is something you would like to do ill include an sm465 with the jeep, Has some bubbling around the rear fenders, it can be seen where the floor boards have been patched in places but some rust is showing as well but very solid other than that, the doors are rust free! Solid off road vehicle, Has spartan front locker with the old style 6 bolt wheel hubs, currently has solid drive flanges but with six bolt hubs a set of the more heavy duty hubs can be installed. Rear axle has Alloy usa chromoly 1 piece axle shafts and a lock right locker. Has a very solid smooth operating dana 300 tcase. Now the exciting part, over the last couple years ive been been putting together a new engine that i was able to install in november, is less that 1500 on the new build. When i got the jeep it had the stock 258 i6 which was great but didnt fuel my disease, I purchased another jeep with a supposedly rebuilt 401 that ended up being totally junk, so the block got sent to the machine shop in denver and i started buying parts. WE ended up with a .060 over amc 401 has factory forged rods and crank that have been recut and reconditioned, the whole rotationg assembly has been balanced as well. I found a set of the amx/javelin 291c high compression heads that have been completely rebuilt new valves, springs, and grind job. Has comp cams full roller rockers with chromoly push rods taking orders from a mid range lunati voodoo flat tappet cam. Vintage edelbrock torker amc intake fueled buy a brand new holley 650 double pumper. You will notice in the picture an extra oil line in the valley of the engine, the machine shop machined the block for this to prevent the notorious amc starvation of the main bearings. Gm hei conversion distributor with hand made taylor wires, exhausted by fenderwell headers into new glass packs. she has only had royal purple oil, starting with break in oil and than 10w40 after that. She does require premium gas, i guesimate 11/11.5.1 compression with the small heads and factory pistons. this things screams! Has more umph than a jeep probably should but its lots of fun. Has 4inch suspension lift plus spring over conversion and body lift. Other goodies include 130w driving lights on the bumper and light bar on top. The tailgagte has been converted to the new style swing away instead of the fold down. Has Smitty built 8k winch that works great. Has custom built 160-180 amp alternator to run the lights and winch, comes with 2 optima yellow tops that sit in new rugged ridge dual battery tray. The switch panel inside give you control over the extra lights, a holley electric high idle solenoid to keep rpms up while winching to prevent battery drain, a switch to keep the thermostatically controlled fans on full time and a switch to shut them off for the underwater situations. Has power steering and newly installed power brake set up i kiped off the parts jeep, new master cylinder as well. Has brand new larger amc 11 inch clutch. Pro comp extreme 33 12.5 15 muds are about 30%. Thanks for looking.

The good news is that this rare 1968 AMC AMX is available for a bargain price, bringing a 390 cubic inch V8, a slick 2-seater body, and plenty of performance. Maybe the world just wasn't quite ready for a 2-seat muscle car in 1968, but the AMX pulls it off. Obviously born with Javelin DNA in its veins, it is shorter, chunkier, and definitely more aggressive-looking, and the proportions are exactly right. The long hood and fastback profile combined with the bright Matador Red paint and white stripes certainly gives the AMX a high-performance look that's more than just for show. It sports just over 80K original miles, but it's seen restoration, so it's sorted, and the vivid paint shows a showroom fresh gloss. It wears a stock hood with aggressive risers that were meant to allow for heat to escape from the headers. The simple horizontal grille with tiny AMX badge, the ribbed rocker panel moldings, and the slim taillights that hug the rear bumper all look great, and the chrome really is quite nice all around. AMC really nailed the muscle car look inside, with pleated bucket seats flanking an automatic shifter and a racy twin-cockpit dash. The seats are in very good condition, and the red on red color combination is a great look for this sporty car. Red carpet covers the package area behind the seats, and the door panels are in very good shape with wood inserts and aftermarket speakers installed. The center stack and console bring more red to the cabin, and the gauges have cool silver centers with black perimeters that were decades ahead of their time. An AM/FM/cassette stereo fits neatly in the center of the dash, just ahead of the shifter, and an AutoMeter oil pressure gauge resides below the dash. A 343 4-barrel was original to the car, but the 390 cubic inch V8 was one of AMC's more potent powerplants in 1968, and is what powers this lightweight. With 315 horsepower from the factory, it's a very strong runner that puts the light curb weight of the AMX to good use. The engine bay is finished with clean red fenders and a firewall that is accented nicely with a chrome air cleaner and valve covers on the 390. An MSD ignition provides sparks to the combustion chamber, while the cylinders breath out a dual exhaust that pops with a throaty V8 sound, leaving no question about the performance potential of this 2-seater. The 3-speed automatic transmission sends power to a 12-bolt rear end. And for fans of '60s performance, the Magnum 500 wheels are a welcomed touch, wrapped in 215/70/14 white-lettered radials. The good news is that you can have a bright red V8-powered 2-seater for pennies on the dollar with this rare AMX. Only 6,700 of these cars were built in 1968, and prices have been quickly on the rise for specimens like this. Presenting a like-new appearance and a lot of fun for the buck, you don't want to miss this opportunity.
