1974 Alfa Romeo GTV!!! Here is an absolutely beautiful 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV that is in excellent condition and is an absolute blast to drive!!! This Alfa was restored by its previous owner to be an excellent driver. The engine has been treated to a quality rebuild several years ago and runs incredibly well today and even retains its original factory SPICA fuel injection. The transmission was also rebuilt, and suspension and brakes were also gone through as well. The car was then treated to a beautiful paint job a few years ago and looks fantastic. The interior was reupholsered at this time as well and looks great. The car looks beautiful and is a great find. The fit of the hood, trunk and doors on the car lines up beautifully, and the doors still open and close like the car did when it was brand new. The car runs and drive absolutely beautifully. It fires right up and the throttle is extremely responsive, the brakes are powerful and has a firm pedal, the suspension is very tight and the car handles great with its brand new KONI Red shocks. This car actually pulls very strongly and is quite quick. The grill is in excellent shape as is the rest of the bright work. This is a RUST FREE CALIFORNIA CAR!!! This car has a spectacular look that grabs everyone's attention. These cars have a great sound that only an Alfa can make and makes the car a blast to drive. These are great cars to go for a quick blast down the road or for a nice scenic drive. This car feels like a new car!!! This is the last year of the desirable GTV and values are quickly goin up. Alfas only seem to be getting more and more pricey, sale prices keep climbing. There are over 200 high quality pictures of this beautiful Alfa Please let the ad load completely and then scroll down. This is a Buy It Now or Best Offer listing and can be purchased at any time!!! Please feel free to call me with any questions! Click to enlarge Exterior: This beautiful Alfa Romeo GTV looks great finished in Red. The paint has a very "deep" look and has a great shine. When they painted this car they really did a nice job. The panel lines up great and all of the doors, hood and trunk all open and shut with ease and have a solid feel. The body is very straight and "flat" with little if any waves. This car was painted several years ago and still looks really nice. You could take this to a weekend show or use it as a daily driver. When the car was painted it was done properly and the glass was removed and seals etc... The bottom side of the car is quite remarkable. I have found no evidence of floor pan replacement and the floor pans are rust free. The only part that appears to have been patched is the spare tire well (very common as there wasn't sufficent drainage in the spare tire well) The car really has a great look with its beautiful classic Italian body and gorgeous true freshly polished Minilite alloy wheels wrapped in brand new tires. The stainless steel bumpers have been polished and the chrome finish on the grill is like new! Also the badges on the C pilar are brand new as well. This car just has that iconic Italian look that still grabs everyones attention 40 years later. The exterior of this car is in beautiful shape and can be driven and enjoyed daily or taken to local weekend car shows. Click to enlarge Interior: The beautiful Black interior of this Alfa is like in great condition. The interior is in excellent shape showing very minor wear. The front seats are in excellent shape and are free of stains and tears. The wood on the dash and console have been refinished and looks excellent. All of the gauges are working in excellent condition as are all of the knobs and controls. The only thing that isn't working at the moment is the horn. The back seat is in very nice condition as well and all of the seats are very comfortable as the foam looks to be in excellent condtition. The interior was topped of with a factory wood "Personal" steering wheel that looks great and feels good in your hands. The headliner is in excellent shape as well. Overall the interior of this car is beautiful and is a great place to be. Click to enlarge Engine: The original Alfa Twin Cam fires right up and runs like a top. This engine, like the rest of the car, has been well cared for and was treated to a rebuild previously in its life. The car starts right up and does not blow any smoke on start up. The car runs incredibly smooth and never skips a beat. Whether you are at 900rpm or 6,000 rpm the car runs incredibly smooth. This car, and my Ferrari mechanic will agree, pulls very strong for an Alfa and is quite impressive. This GTV also has excellent throttle response and great power. The engine has very strong oil pressure as well and stays nice and cool in Arizonas hot and dry climate. The rebuilt transmission shift perfectly through all the gears and the clutch feels great and is not exhibiting any slipping whatsoever. The gear change is so nice and smooth on this car, the gear lever moves with ease and has a great feel. The 4 wheel disc brakes stop the car incredibly well and have a great solid feel and feature stainless steel braided brake lines. The car tracks down the road straight as an arrow and feels solid driving down the road. All of the lights, signals, are in great working order. This car features freshly polished Mini-lite wheels with brand new tires!!! This car goes down the highway at 80mph with ease!!! This is an extremely reliable car. This car has also recently been treated to a fresh oil change, brand new KONI Red shocks, a brand new exhaust system as well as a rebuilt driveshaft and bearing. This is a great driving Alfa that is truly turn-key and can just be driven and enjoyed. This really is a great car to spend time in! Click to enlarge Classic Alfa Romeos are getting more and more collectible and are quickly on the rise. Clean GTVs are VERY difficult to find. The Alfa GTV is a very appreciated model due to beautiful design, race car prowess and they are actually inexpensive to maintain. This is a great opportunity to own a very nice example of Alfas beautiful GTV. Lots of love, attention to detail and money have been poured into this car. This car earns lots of thumbs up everywhere you go and is a pleasure to drive. It would make a great addition to any collection or a weekend show piece. This is my 1973 Alfa 2000 GTV. I purchased it last year from Georgia and along with my 1989 BMW 325iX I am now offering it for sale to make room for another car which I have always wanted and think can finally make a reality. I searched for three months and found this GTV: the best rust-free example of a “driver” – that is, it is not a show car or, more importantly, priced that way, but does look great and drives well. I have listed the major points about the car and work that has been performed below. · The car is a US-spec 2000 GTV. · It was professionally converted from the SPICA fuel-injection to the Alfa rest of the world spec carbureted system in 2005 by the previous owner, who acquired the car that year and had the conversion performed. The conversion is as per the Alfa factory set-up including: o Correct Weber Carbs (made in Italy) o Proper Intake Manifold o Billet Support Strut and crank o Low-Pressure Fuel Pump o Correct Alfa Throttle Linkages o Correct Throttle Pedal o The air filters are obviously not Alfa branded but these are practically "consumables" that can be changed easily. · The 5-speed manual transmission shifts very well with no issues in 2nd or any other gear. · The exhaust is a free flowing ANSA unit with no leaks or rattles. · The car has air-conditioning from the factory and this has been converted to R-134a and works well. It performed well in the Georgia heat and humidity as well as the admittedly lower heat but similar humidity in the Boston area this past summer. The battery is located in the trunk as per the AC equipped GTVs. · The body is in very good shape with no rust. I have included photos from underneath as well as the rockers and other susceptible areas. · Car rides on 15” Cromodora wheels with new tires. Spare set of ATS wheels come with the car. · Unfortunately, I do not have the original Alfa steering wheel – it has a Gritti wooden wheel fitted. · Interior is in very good shape for the most part – the admittedly ugly 1980s era stereo disrupts the dash. o Seat upholstery is excellent. o Headliner is great. o Dash has no cracks and is not warped or faded. o Carpets are clean and in good shape. o Hazard lights do not work but all other lights including Euro style fogs do operate correctly. o Heat works correctly. o Factory AC works great. o Gauge cluster has been replaced with the correct cluster from another 2000 GTV. The odometer reads 3625 miles and works properly. The original cluster comes with the car and reads 76K miles. Gauges are the correct Jaeger units as you can see in the photos. o Fuel gauge does not work – I use the trip meter like on a motorcycle. · Service/work performed since acquiring the car in summer 2016: o Tune-up: new plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor and pick-up. o Oil and filter service. o Coolant flush and replacement. o Replaced oil pressure switch. o New tie-rods (all) and front wheel bearings. o Brakes – new calipers all around, along with rotors and pads, booster hose, and fluid after flushing. o Refreshed differential oil. o New stabilizer bushings. o New steering idler. o Replaced all gas lines from the pump onward for safety. o Tightened the motor mounts. o Cleaned air filters. o Checked compression – all cylinders within 8%. · Car has the original spare and jack, along with owner’s manual and toolkit. · It runs at correct temperature even with the AC on. · Oil pressure gauge works and pressure remains in correct range. · Spare set of ATS wheels come with the car. The little Alfa drives very well, is responsive, handles as it should and stops great thanks to the completely new brakes. I would not have a problem driving this car anywhere, other than the obvious potential shortcomings of a 45-year-old car. Please feel free to contact me with questions. Thank you.

1974 ALFA ROMEO GTV 2000 "Factory Sunroof - GTV - Coupe" This 1974 Alfa is a superb example of the GTV classic design in its final evolution. Better yet, this is a US delivery model in its rarest form with a original sunroof. This car until very recent years was a California car. It was formerly owned by a fastidious owner that took amazing care of it. The stripes are wraps and all are easily removed if the next owner prefers the bone stock, more conservative look. The total mileage indicated on its odometer is approximately 58,500 and it is believed to be actual from new. It runs and drives beautifully! It shows no signs of having been rusty or hit. Truly a car for the discriminating collector, suitable for rallys or shows. Priced at $49,000. Museum stored in central Virginia. Call/text 215-906-7001, or email [email protected]

1977 Alfa Romeo Alfetta Berlina GTV Car was originally a blue car that is now red, there are some paint blems but it has good shine and no major body damage, there is some rust in the lower front lower fenders and in the rear cargo hatch pillar as seen in the photos. The trim is complete and in good condition as well as the glass throughout the car. Good tires on the factory wheels. Interior is original and as you can see needs to be restored or of course you can keep the way it is, the leather seats have splits, dash is cracked, no radio, no speakers, some buttons such as the hazards are broken. This is the 2.0 liter 4-cylinder motor starts right up, shifts well, brakes work decent but should be looked over before a journey is taken as this car has not been driven for a while. This is a complete car, running and driving, A California car with the same owner since 2005. Clean California Title in hand Compression on motor is 155- 160 across the board. Also comes with California Smog inspection for transfer of ownership in State of CA. I just purchased this car last month from the seller on Ebay who owns a classic car lot in Los Angeles. Very helpful and man of his word; he was selling for his client that had owned since 2005. Car starts up and drives but of course is a 40 year old car; please review pictures. I felt I stole it from him as the bidding didn't get to what I had expected as he had listed locally on Craigslist for $7500. I am selling because I need to move some of my classic cars to help pay for my daughters very expensive college education. I decided to start with the last car I purchased. I have done nothing with the car other than drive it a little and realized I received a great deal. Car passed California stringent smog guidelines which says a lot about its running condition. I have explained the car to the best of my knowledge and would encourage you to come and inspect or have someone inspect. Of course, we are talking about a running, driving GTV for under $3000 which is a crazy good deal.

1973 Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV Message - Beautifully Restored- Rust-Free Body & Undercarriage- Rebuilt Original Mechanicals- 73k Original Miles- Tons of Documentation Dealership Information Goodman Reed Motorcars805-202-4557info@goodmanreed.comwww.goodmanreed.comSanta Barbara, CA Description 0 0 1 527 3010 Goodman Reed Corporation 25 7 3530 14.0 Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Offered for sale is an exceptionally clean, mechanically strong and entirely solid 1973 Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV. Finished in tasteful and era-specific Rosso Amaranto over a Cuoio Naturale interior – one of the most desirable color combinations to ever grace Giorgetto Guigiaro’s aggressive design – the car was always well looked after by long-term enthusiast owners. In 1993, the car’s most recent owner (of 22+ years) purchased the car from Centerline Alfa in Lafayette, CO, one of the preeminent Alfa Romeo parts suppliers in the United States. The car’s previous owner had been a Centerline customer and they effectively brokered the deal before continuing to supply a bevy of parts and service recommendations for the car for the ensuing two decades. The body and chassis are excellent and the car has benefitted from rebuilds on the engine, transmission, suspension, brakes and driveline and a relatively recent cosmetic restoration. Wonderfully sophisticated and factory correct, the Rosso Amaranto paint is in truly fantastic condition: rich, consistent and marred only by minor imperfections, none of which are significant enough to appear in any of the pictures. All of the glass, rubber and brightwork are in excellent original shape and the body is free of bondo and is entirely straight, with factory consistent panel fits and gaps. The Campagnolo Campanatura wheels are in excellent condition and are wrapped in Yokohama AVS tires with plenty of remaining tread. The car’s interior is equally clean, with the seats, carpets and interior panels all in great shape. The original Texalfa upholstery on the front seats was beginning to look a bit tatty, so we had the seats refurbished in correct Cuoio Naturale. Hardly ever used, the original rear seats are in excellent original condition, the dash cover is free of any cracks or warping and the trunk remains original and clean with the spare tire and changing tools. With ample power and go-cart handling, this GTV is an absolute blast to drive. The 72K miles showing on the odometer is believed to be original mileage and the well-cared-for, original, numbers matching DOHC Inline 4 cylinder engine starts effortlessly, idles consistently and pulls strongly through each of the original 5-speed transmission’s gears. The Spica fuel injection was replaced with dual Weber carburetors by the previous owner, although the original Spica unit is functional and included in the sale. When all of the mechanicals were rebuilt, the car also received Euro cams, high compression pistons, big valves and a 4.11 rear axle, however the original 4.54 unit remains as a spare, along with a number of additional hard to find spare parts. The four wheel disc brakes bring the car safely to stop and steering and cornering is precise. The car comes with a binder full of restoration, parts and service receipts going back to through the early 1990s. The GT Veloce is arguably the last Alfa to truly be considered a classic and the final iteration, the 2000 GTV, embodies the perfect blend of a more modern drivability and power while retaining all of the visceral thrill of the earlier cars. Partially due to the rapid appreciation of other preceding Alfa models, partially due to the timeless Bertone design and partially due to the fact that relatively few solid examples are left, 2000 GTV values have been steadily on the rise for the last few years, making this is an excellent opportunity to acquire a beautiful, solid, mechanically strong, fun-to-drive and appreciating classic. ? ? ?Contact Us About Us Goodman Reed Motorcars is a boutique vintage car dealership specializing in the sale, location and brokerage of rare and collector quality vehicles. Thanks for taking a look at our 1971 Alfa Romeo GT Veloce Junior 1300 hotrod. The Alfa Romeo GTV. The world famous canyon carver with that glorious exhaust note. It’s the car you need to try to beat at the short, fast tracks. And she’s going to turn heads whether you're going uptown on a Friday night or down the backside of the corkscrew at Laguna Seca on Saturday morning. A crowd is all but guaranteed at your local car show or cruise night. We acquired this Alfa GTV here in California via ebay in the summer of 2014. It had a clean California title, had not been in an accident and had a well preserved interior. The car was in a body shop and the owner eventually decided the restoration cost was beyond his means. The engine turned freely but was not running. The brakes were locked up. The body had light rust in the quarters and fenders but was otherwise in very nice restorable condition. We began with the metal work. All of the rust was removed and panels were fitted as required. We shaved and filled for that hot rod look. No bumpers, no visible radio antenna and minimal chrome and stainless trim. The car was stripped, glass out, and prepared for paint. We chose Diamond White Pearl Metallic for maximum visual impact. This 3 stage paint process took an entire day just to spray. After a month of curing, we color sanded and polished the paint until it revealed that amazing sizzle of pearlescence and metallic sparkle. The interior was mildly reconditioned and kept as spartan as originally designed. We’re betting a lot of Alfisti will rip out any interior accoutrements in favor of a roll bar and race seats anyway. Twin Weber DCOE 40 carburetors were rebuilt and the electrical was sorted. The entire braking system was replaced including booster, master and slave cylinders, calipers and lines, pads and fluids. All quality parts were sourced from name brand Alfa suppliers like Centerline and Jon Norman. The drivetrain appeared to have been recently rebuilt and she sprang to life with ease. She’s tight and fast with an awesome sound from the Magna Flow pipe. DMVThe title is clear and all documentation is included. No back fees are due. No smog is required for California residents. Exterior.Fresh Diamond White Pearl Metallic that has been color sanded and buffed to a high sheen looks amazing and can be a bit blinding in the sun. Good panel fit. Good chrome and trim. Fresh vinyl graphics. Shaved antenna and emblems. See pictures. Zero rust, Zero nicks, Zero scratches Wheels, TiresNew 15” Rota alloy wheels with fat new Ventus TD tires. Engine1300 cc Dual overhead cam Alfa Romeo magic. Runs awesome. Burnouts (even with those sticky td’s) are easy. Fresh tune, all belts, hoses, fluids. Dual DCOE 40 Weber carbs with tuned velocity stacks and filters. Radiator rebuild. New waterpump, etc. TransmissionSmooth shifting 5 speed transmission. New clutch master and slave cylinders. Braking4 wheel disc brake system is new from booster to calipers, including lines. Battery New Interstate Battery We are an Interstate battery dealer. Please come inspect this great 71 Alfa before the listing ends. We are happy to meet you and show her off. Please keep in mind that this is a used car. It is not a new car and will not be fresh and perfect like that new soul sucking camry your aunt betty drives. If that’s what you are after, this is not your era, nor your car. I need 1 guy who wants this car. I bought it next to the airport from an old latino fella. He gave me a bill of sale and I haven't done a thing with this car in 6 months. It runs and has 2 sets of original keys. Its in great original shape. The catalytic convertor is clogged and the key is sticky. I can drive it around but not for long. the old guy told me not to because the cat heats up quick. It sounds like a submarine right now. The car revs right up and is smooth though. You will have to be patient with me as I go through the title process. Check my feedback, people on eBay love my cars and everybody get the papers. The rust is on the rear deck and passenger front fender down low. check the pics. This is a 1 owner car from a cal berkeley prof who was an excellent caretaker. These are kinda scarce. I put it in the local want ads and everyone went crazy. I prefer this method however. Car will load up under its own power, harris
