I am selling my 2001 VW Jetta GLX with a VR6 motor and manual transmission. This is a great car to drive everyday. I commuted to college which was about 100 miles everyday and never had an issue with this car. It has 221K miles on it but runs great. The oil has been changed on this car every 3K miles. There was a new clutch put in about 1500 miles ago as well as new spark plugs and coils. The tires have about 2K on them and has ECS Tuning wheels, and the car sits on solo-werks coils and rides great. There are a few minor issues with the car. One is the check engine light is on because of bad O2 sensors. This is because the car is completely straight piped with 3.5 in and has a cold air intake installed. There is also an ABS light on because of a bad sensor on the drivers side front caliper. This is not an issue the light has been on for as long as I know its just a waste of time to fix it. Finally there is a check engine code showing the coolant temp sensor is bad. I have a new sensor, but lack the time to fix it because of my new job. On the inside it is all leather with working seat warmers. It also has an pioneer touch screen radio with Bluetooth capability. Overall this is a great car for anyone as a daily driver. The low ride and straight pipe also make this car very fun to drive. I am simply selling this because I recently got a new job and bought a new car, and cant keep them both.

The car is in good shape and working great.VR6 6 cylinder engine provide you great driving experience. I will use this car if I stay in NY. It is a nice car. The water pump, belt has been recently changed. Tire in good condition. Air conditioner working great. But you might need some body work for inside since the top ceiling coat is peeling. As far as I know the oil light might show sometimes. I took the car to check and the mechanic told me the oil is not leaking. It has been working for months since I came across this problem and no problem at all. It might because of the sensor. If you are looking for a low cost family car, this is the right one!
