I am the original owner of this 2001 Volkswagen Cabrio. 71696 mileage but that will go up since I am still driving the car. It won't go up much because I don't drive much and it generally stays in the garage. Everything works well... heat, ac, convertible top, windows, radio, windshield wipers. I just got a new battery, 2 new tires, front rotors and brake pads, and new windshield wipers. It was just at Firestone where they checked it out. The only other thing they saw that I have not fixed is the front hood support needs new shocks or struts. There are minor dings and scratches as might be expected in a 15 year old car but it looks beautiful. See photos. There is piece of plastic missing off the rear console. The leather has minor dings and scratches but looks good. The interior is leather with seated heats. It has cruise control. I have the hood cover in the garage. It's smoke free. I added an after market cupholder that you can see in the pictures. It flips up or down as needed. It has a Sirius Satellite set up that would need activation. $500 Paypal Deposit is required. Full cash payment is due before releasing the car and title. It's very fun to drive. I love having the top down! People ooh and ahh over the car everywhere I go:)

Great for a first time buyer! This is a fun way to get from point A to point B; especially during the summer time! I just recently bought a 2016 Volkswagen so this one is no longer needed. This car is in pretty fair condition especially due to its age. I recently just put in a new battery, whole new transmission & and a new catalytic converter ; I have my receipts for proof. Now this car does need a new start up; also it overheats. Now I have already took it to the mechanics and it really doesn't need that much work~ it just needs a little love! it also has minor problems, the locks are really slow and the convertible top doesn't work as of now it is manual. Other then those things this car is fair and it is worth a buy! it has alloy rims, leather seats, seat warmers, a tape aux cord to plug into your phone for your music, good millage ( 20 bucks fill the tank), it also has a top cover for the convertible top which is an accessory, and i have also added sporty blue & black seat covers & it also comes with a steering wheel cover, also seat belt covers that are all blue and black. As stated, it's a solid little tank of a car, but it needs work. The A/C doesn't work and you have to manually open the top, it won't do it automatically (it didn't when I bought it a few years ago either). I think it might be a good vehicle for someone who is good with them from a mechanical standpoint. Or maybe someone who wants to use it for parts. I've got all the paperwork and the title is clear. This car was purchased last February as a fixer-upper. Since then a new top was installed, timing belt replaced on engine, new bushings on driver's seat track along with a few other small items being repaired. The only major repair needed was the driver's side rear quarter panel and the reverse gear. After a small accident damaging the passenger side front bumber, the insurance company totaled the vehicle, which is why it now has a salvage title. So, this is a parts car, with many good parts. The engine runs great, just had a timing belt, idler and tensioner installed. The transmission needs repair, reverse is out. The interior is decent, seats are black leather, heated. All window motors work. The top is 3 months old and can be removed as an assembly. The convertible top needed a new hydraulic cylinder, that part was purchased but not installed, included with the car. It has the factory radio with cd changer in trunk, in working condition. I have the original owner's manual with the unlock code for the radio. The tires are decent, the car has aftermarket wheels. There is only one key, no key fobs, and just recently the cylinder on the driver's door popped loose. The windshield has a crack on the passenger side. I've been a VW enthusiast for the last 30 years, this is a decent car and has about $2500 worth of parts if you wanted to take the time to part it out. It would also be a good candidate to repair and get a rebuilt title. It's currently garaged and will stay that way till I sell it. I have the title in hand, but again, its been flagged as salvage. I'll give it a few weeks to sell, if not I will begin parting it out. If I get enough inquiries about parts I may start parting it out sooner than later.

Top currently operates in manual mode only, however opens quite easily.
