It was my everyday driver up until 11/1/2015 I started tune up new plugs ne cap and rotor in the last year and have new windshield wiper blades. It needs a rear wheel bearing which caused the ABS light to come on. It could use new front tires and the check engine light comes on from time to time. The engine still picks up and goes well. I chose to accept an offer from a family member for a new to me car so I stopped the tune up. Sold as is. Local pick up only and cash at the time of sale.

2000 GMC Jimmy in REDFORD, MI looking for new home. I'm selling the truck for my mom whose no longer able to drive due to memory issues and physical limitations. I have no use for the truck. Here's what I have been informed of and know for sure. I've done a tune-up on it 4 yrs. ago. Replaced the rear diff seal and fluid. Oil is good but will need changing soon. A/C is cold and working. Has selectable 4WD which works. my mom has owned it for 4 yrs. and hasn't driven it for at least 1 of those years. Has good rubber. Has an exhaust leak. In my opinion it needs some suspension work, but may not bother anyone else. For a 15 Year old truck it's in very good shape rear bumper is mostly rusted but is replaceable. The bottle jack trim cover is only held on by a simple "eye" screw and hook, it was like this since before my mom bought the truck. It does not have a tow package but does have the "tow/haul" button in the center console. Some surface rust spots but merely cosmetic. The oil pan and front diff need new gaskets due to slow leaking. Great vehicle for a first time driver looking for an inexpensive auto.

My husband and I are moving out of town and need to downsize to only one vehicle. We are selling my Jimmy, still in great working condition and perfect for a new driver! This was my first car when I started driving and it has served me very well throughout undergrad and grad school. I purchased it from my uncle at the time who had taken very good care of it. Very roomy so perfect for moving items of various sizes (I have, in fact, used my car to move many people over the years). Just replaced all four tires and have had new brakes within the last year. I am selling my 2000 GMC Jimmy Tired of paying someone else to fix it. This vehicle has 204,852 miles Its time to move on to another vehicle. This one has served me well. There is a number of issues that need to be fixed for inspection. 1.Needs front brakes and rotors 2 Needs right side upper and lower ball joints fixed. 3. Needs the air conditioner to be fixed. 4.Needs the engine light indicator bulb to be fixed because it shows fault with the light blown out. 5. Four wheel drive does not engage. 6. Motor needs a tune up . engine misses until it warms up. 7. There is a small oil leak. 8. The key does not come out without pushing the release button. 2000 GMC Jimmy Diamond Edition. -I have owned this vehicle since 2002. We have not driven this vehicle for the past year because the Engine started to misfire. It was diagnosed as a fuel problem and i had the fuel pump replaced and it did not help the problem. The mechanic shop hooked it up to the computer and there was a misfire on cylinder number 5. They told me that it could be the fuel spider or the car computer. My son was driving the vehicle and purchased a new one and i no longer needed this vehicle and didnt want to spend money on the vehicle for repairs. -The original motor is in the vehicle and it has never been rebuilt. It has had the head gasket changed not too many miles ago. -The vehicle has recently had new tires and Shocks/Struts. New Fuel Pump, Radiator, New rebuilt Transmission/Transfer Case. Four wheel drive works good. Newer Battery. -It has automatic start and an alarm. -The vehicle was undercoated right after the original owner purchased the vehicle from the dealer. -The interior and body are in pretty good shape for the age of the vehicle. -The vehicle will have to be towed upon purchase because of the low brake pressure.
