I have for sale a 2000 Chevy Suburban with 240,000 mi. The top end of the motor was rebuilt less than 30,000mi ago. All new shocks and rear coil springs were just put on the vehicle. The front end has brand new upper control arms. Tires were replaced with brand new 70,000mi tires less than 10,000 mi ago. New rear brakes and rotors and front pads were replaced a few months ago. Brand new brake line from the ABS unit to the rear axel was replaced. The steering gear and the power steering pump along with a brand new belt that was recently installed. New windshield a month ago. Carpets were steam cleaned recently. Oil changes always done on schedule, I also have all maintenance records saved. The only reason I am selling this vehicle is because I bought the bigger Yukon XL 2500. Clean title. The only bad part is the peeling clear coat on the hood. I am selling a 2000 Chevy Suburban 1500 4x4 with towing capability. This is an all around, mechanically sound SUV. It has a few scratches from normal wear and tear, but it looks good. The ABS/brake light is on due to the ABS module needing to be replaced. I do not have the funds to repair. The normal brakes work just fine. The front rotors and calipers have been replaced, as well as the catalytic converters and muffler. It has four brand new tires on Xoni 24" chrome Phantom rims. It also has chrome running boards, tinted windows, moon roof, third row seating, rear windshield wiper as well as washer. I no longer need a big vehicle. The speedometer is off by about 20,000 because the instrument cluster was replaced before I bought it. That's why I said around 255,000. This is a good running vehicle and it needs a good home. Selling my 2000 Stillen Custom Supercharged Chevy Suburban 4x4 - I love this truck, but recently upgraded to something different so it needs to go to a new owner. These trucks are one-off custom built trucks, built by Stillen in California - they are very limited, and typically run an extra $28K when completed. Mine has had the following upgrades completed:Whipple Supercharger package (around $9K installed). Adds approximately 90 HP to the engine for improved take-off and pulling performance.Full custom Leather interior - black leather w/white piping to match the exterior. Front Captain heated seats have been upgraded to luxury size, much bigger than standard Captain chairs - also have Clarion monitors installed in the headrests for rear entertainment. Second row has reclining bucket seats w/arm rests, third row is a bench seat.Custom console with storage, electric drink cooler/heater cup holders, motorized hidden compartment for storage that has hidden 7" monitor (currently hooked to rear camera). Console also has built-in Whelen siren system which includes standard emergency welp (police siren), EMS horn, Fire Dept horn, several others I've never 'tested'. The front bumper has some scratches & rock chips from normal daily driving, rear bumper has a couple dings in it - nothing real noticeable, but needs to be mentioned. Front Captain seats are starting to show some wear from climbing in & out, please see pictures for more details. Paint still has a nice gloss, no oxidized Clear Coat or defects. Rear power windows go up very slow, buyer may want to have the motors changed out in the next few years. Transmission shifts very smooth, no slipping or hard shifting. Engine (5.3L Vortec V8, most popular Chevy truck V8 engine) runs very smooth, never had any problems with this truck. Two Owner Chevy Suburban - Beige - This truck is in great shape. Some minor issues (See below.) No wrecks. Clean inside/out. We purchased this from my Aunt who mostly put highway miles on it and garage kept it. We have owned it for about 4 years and have absolutely loved it. Just use it as a family car. It was used to tow a trailer just a few times. Engine is rock solid with absolutely no leaks. Transmission is very smooth. We are getting about 17-19 MPG in-town and interstate - Great for a truck this size. (We are very easy on acceleration and deceleration/braking.) Good heat and great Air Conditioning. This truck came loaded back in the day and most everything works great - even the cassette player. Regular maintenance and oil changes every 5000 miles. Rides like a dream and is a real pleasure to drive. We use it mainly on the interstate around town and on about several 400 mile family trips per year. When not in use it stays parked in the shade. NO SMOKERS have driven this truck. Issues: - We think the windshield washer reservoir has a slow leak somewhere (or maybe a hose?) - Some less than normal wear on the interior, including cracks in the leather on the drivers side, air vent in the very back missing, a few other random issues - Some wear on the exterior - Dent in the left, rear quarter panel corner right above the bumper. Scratch along the left rear quarter panel. Door ding on the left rear quarter panel. And a neighborhood dog decided he wanted to chew on the driver side running board. No rust. - Rear seat audio control panel volume control rocker switch - Interior light master switch loose connection - Original Speakers - work fine but some distortion at higher volumes Features: - 5.3 Liter Vortec 5300 V8 Engine - Great condition Leather throughout (note the light cracking on the drivers bottom cushion) - 3rd Row Seat - Comfortably seats 8 - Rear seat also quickly folds forward for added cargo space - Sunroof - no leaks at all around roof/windows/etc... - 2 Wheel Drive - Good tires ( 50%+) - One tire is less than 50% - left rear - Great spare underneath - Factory rims (no curb rash) - Recent Front Brakes/Rotors - Many hoses replaced within the last year - Windshield and front grill in great shape. Chevy Logo on grill is cracked. - Hitch Light adapter included - Hitch Cargo rack available for a little extra - used once (like this one: http://img03.aaastatic.net/image_cache/921316_300x300.jpg) - Original Owner's Manual - 2 Original Key Fob Remotes (one has a dead battery but works fine) - Rear cargo interior roll-up cover and cargo net (not pictured) - Just Detailed with a recent Oil Change and a Full tank of gas :) We have had an excellent experience with this truck and just experienced the minor things mentioned above. It is rock solid. Also we would not hesitate to continue to keep the truck and take it on road trips, but we just have very limited parking space. Payment - will accept Cash or postal Money Order .
