Please see my "ME" Page for other exciting cars of distinction on EBAY.             1971 Lincoln Continental   Description Motoexotica is pleased to introduce our newest 1971 Lincoln Mark III.  1971 saw the Golden Anniversary for the Lincoln Mark, and the third and final year of Mark III production. Sales were better than ever, at 27091 almost equal to the Eldorado’s, a harbinger for the new decade. Little changed from the 1970 model; tinted glass became standard, as did the automatic controlled air conditioning and Sure Trak Anti lock brakes as well as the High back seat, also standard. Horsepower remained unchanged at 365, but the 460CID V8 engine gained a more sophisticated thermostatic air cleaner assembly with its associated duct work. In their second annual “King of the Hill” contest (Motor Trend July 1971) again gave the Lincoln Mark III a nod by a wider margin than 1970 despite the Lincoln being basically a warmed over 1968 model, while the Cadillac was an all new model. M/T noted that the Mark III leather was much more luxurious and better detailed than the Eldorado’s nylon cloth and the Continental’s real wood dash trim was far more attractive than the Cadillac’s simulate. This brings us back to our Beautiful 1971 Mark III, recipient of a nice partial restoration only a few years ago and hails from the Desert state of Arizona! Starting in the nicely appointed interior you’ll notice the seats have been carefully recovered in a Black and White Tu tone scheme, with matching door panels. The panels are clean, and give the interior a very finished appearance.  All the gauges are easy to read, and the wood gauge surround looks great.  The headliner is clean and not discolored or tattered. It is noted that the wipers are currently not working though, as well as the fuel gauge. The Jet Black exterior shows well with only a few small blemishes found on the doors and on the paint. The chrome trim is all there, it is nice and bright, as well as the bumpers. It boasts a beautiful undercarriage and it is in excellent shape. Finally, the attention must go to the HUGE 460CI engine that powers this big Lincoln. It is nestled neatly in the engine bay and mated to a smooth shifting Automatic transmission. Aero design was proliferating in the Art Deco period in everything from trains to appliances, but most automotive efforts were rejected by the public due to their inherent clumsiness. Up for sale is a used 1999 Lincoln Continental 4 door sedan. My father purchased the vehicle back in 2005 and was the second owner of the vehicle. When he passed away in 2012 the vehicle was given to my daughter to used while attending college. She has since graduated and no longer is in need of the vehicle, therefore we have decided to sell it. The car, since owned by our family, has had no major wrecks or body damage, however my daughter did have a couple of bumper rubs with another vehicle and a dumpster while living on campus. These spots have been photographed and place in the listing. It has a cloth top, leather seats (some wear and cracks, but not too bad), power steering, power windows, electric side mirrors, power seats, electric air ride system, etc... etc... all of the bells and whistles. Air bags throughout, driver, passenger, sides, etc.... This has been a smooth riding vehicle not only from when my father drove it, but my daughter as well. When my daughter gave the car back, I did notice that the brakes are squeaking a bit, so it may need new pads. Buyer is responsible for transportation. Clean Title. The car was in a fender bender and the hood and fenders were replaced. the accident wants reported as it was minor. The hood and fenders are composite (not metal) so it couldn't be fixed. The accident happened with the previous owner and happened around 90k. The car drives well, the only issue is the the driver seat doesnt move fwd and aft but can hear the motor. i think its looks like its slipped off the track. 1999 Lincoln Continental 4.6L V8 Automatic Transmission, ABS Leather Interior in very good condition, tires near new with extra tire in trunk - see picture, brake pads changed about 1k miles ago. PS, PB, PW, PL, PM, sliding sun roof Disc changer, cruise, & more Car is overall in very good condition and runs very strong. The prior owner was a regional salesman for the northeast, so most of mileage is highway. Vehicle was purchased for parents with 205k miles and have not had any problems since. Vehicle is no longer needed and therefore selling. A minor accident occurred - please see front passenger photo of fender. Headlight was replaced and works perfectly. Residual minor body damage, as per photo, which does not affect the operation of the car. AC worked perfectly prior to the accident - freon gas seems to have escaped, but not sure from where. This particular Lincoln Mark V has low, original miles and is on an ACTUAL mileage title! It’s also equipped with power steering, power brakes and factory air conditioning. This car is well preserved and still looks beautiful to this day! The Lincoln comes finished in its original color of Silver and is accented with an Ember Valino Half Vinyl Top and matching side moldings. 1999  Lincoln Continental with only 99,000 miles on it.   Dual tone trim- leather power seats- aluminum alloy rims- 6 disc cd changer- 120 point inspected.     So after that inspection I bought 4 brand new tires and fixed the sway bar links and tie rod and then had a  4 wheel alignment done.   The only thing it needs is the a/c recharged and the driver side seats track gear needs replaced so it can go forward adn backward again which is only a 30 dollar part.   This vehicle is in excellant shape and drives smooth like a cadilac.    Im mainly looking to sell or trade-  the things im interested in for trading are the following: a bass boat,  a Camper with 2 axle 30-36ft with 2 inch ball hitch reciever on it, or a tractor that has a snow blade attachment with mower deck and grader box in the back.
