I'm selling my garage-stored 1998 Lincoln Continental. It runs great and has almost 134,000 miles on it. No rust, no dents, power everything, moon roof, 6 disc CD, A/C and heat, grey leather int. etc. The leather on the driver's seat has wear but is still heavy and has no tears. Other than that the car is in good shape. Non-smoker ever. Very powerful with 260 hp 8 cylinder engine and gets around 24 mph on the highway and 17 in the city. Please ask any question, this car really is in great shape and would look really sharp with new rims even though the current rims are just fine.

1991 Lincoln Continental signature series. Purchased in 1998 drove it for 18 months. Then the head gasket went out. Needs head gasket. Prior to head gasket going out, we installed a new transmission ($2700), new brakes, new tires, shocks and struts. It has been stored in my shop for the past 17 years with the hope of repairing it. Leather interior in good shape, electric seats, power locks, key less entry on door (key pad). Drove beautifully. Minor scratches on doors and trunk, front passenger directional light is broken. With the exception of the head gasket the car is in good shape.

I would feel safe driving this home. When I bought her I drover 3 hours home with no issues. Car is not inspected as it was registered as a classic. Far too nice for parts or derby. History: I bought her off some folks who owned it since 1998. The Lincoln was registered as a classic. The story I was told, was the Lincoln was only driven in the nicer weather months. She was garage kept. I bought her with intentions of making real nice. However as I said earlier plans change. I drove her home 3 hours without any issue. The body:She is very solid and straight. There is some rust, with the most notable on the hood. I had a body shop friend of mine take a look and he said with a little sand blasting and priming & paint it would be as good as new. Other than the hood I would consider everything else minor. Everything is here trim wise. Weather stripping needs replaced around windows on doors. I have picked this up and these will be included. Underside of the car is nice with no rust issues. White vinyl top is in ok shape. Not bad at all for almost 40 years old! Engine. As I stated earlier this has the 460. She'll fire right up after a couple pumps of the gas peddle. Some where along the line some repaced the carb w/ a Holley 4 barrel. Engine runs good with no odd noise or smoke. Engine compartment looks good and clean. I'm sure she would benefit from a tune up. Transmission. Automatic. Shifts fine. Universal clunks a little when going into reverse. Brakes: Work fine w/ no odd noises or leaks. Tires: Like new. Interior: Seats are white leather and are showing some wear but nothing terrible. Head liner has a small rip. Dash & gauges are all nice. Dash is Tan. Door panels are nice but do show some wear. Accessories:The heater core is by passed. I am assuming it is bad. There are no signs of a leak on the floor/carpet on the inside. A/C would need converted/charged. Power window - Drivers side works, passenger side does not. Power lock - Passenger side works, drivers side does not. I think with a little lubing this would be corrected. Cruise works. Don't know about the 8 track as I don't own any to test it but the radio works. Power antenna does not work. There is power at the switch and to the motor. The cable for the mast is broken. Antenna is currently up. Rear defrost works. Misc: Passenger side ball joint is "creaky". Would need replaced. I greased it and it quieted it some, but is still noisy. Rides fine, just sounds like a creaky door when turning. Passenger side wiper does not work. I looked into this some. It needs a new wiper transmission which I picked one up and will be included. PAYMENTFull payment due 48hrs after auctions end.
