The Story: This is a very hard to find Cummins/6 Spd drive-train combo quad cab truck. This rig was used as a work truck but it was adult owned, never abused, non smoking and very well maintained. This truck has some dents, dings and scratches as you would expect from a work truck but is very tight mechanically. This truck starts, runs, shifts, drives and stops excellent in every way, it is a good tight, string running rig and it will not disappoint you. Options and Equipment: Has a very powerful 5.9L Cummins engine, 6 spd trans, 4WD, power windows/locks, tilt, AC, heated/power mirrors, keyless entry, cruise, fog lights, tow package, receiver hitch, seats 6, very clean non smoking gray cloth interior, good glass, a good set of matched Cooper AT tires on alloy rims and never any rust (still has factory frame stickers, see photos underneath) We installed 2 new batteries, gave this truck a full safety inspection, oil/filter change, checked all fluids, air filter, inspected the brakes and undercarriage, has been professionally cleaned inside etc. This is a used 11 year old work truck and as you would expect there are imperfections, scratches, dings, wear, etc. I am being very "nit-picky" on some of this stuff because I value my reputation/feedback. The Story: This is a hard to find 5500 crew cab flat bed and an awesome truck, 4WD with power everything and ready to work. This truck was adult owned, never abused, non smoking, non chipped. It starts, runs, drives and stops excellent in every way and will not disappoint you. Options and Equipment: Has a super strong running engine, auto trans, keyless entry, power windows/locks, cruise control, tilt wheel, AC, tint, factory trailer brakes, factory exhaust brake, tow package, receiver hitch, turn over ball, heavy duty flat bed, clean, non smoking gray cloth interior, good glass, new tires, stainless wheel covers and never any rust (see photos underneath) We installed 6 new tires, gave this truck a full safety inspection, oil/filter/fuel filter change, checked all fluids, air filter, inspected the brakes and undercarriage, has been cleaned/detailed inside etc. Though in excellent condition, this is a used 6 year old work truck and as you would expect there are imperfections, scratches, dings, wear, etc. I am being very "nit-picky" on some of this stuff because I value my reputation/feedback. Age and a recent serious bout with shingles have convinced me that it's time to sell the truck and trailer I bought new in 1997 and have been their only driver for 134,800 miles, which for a CUMMINS DIESEL is JUST BROKEN IN! I WILL SELL THEM SEPARATELY, but ONLY IF THE TRAILER SELLS FIRST . . . for obvious reasons! Truck is TOTALLY RUST-FREE as it was almost never used in winter but could use PAINT, as it's starting to peel on hood and roof; it's been sitting out for 17 years! Also, the HEADLINER IS LOOSE and the FUEL GAUGE hasn't worked in at least 10 years; I just click the trip meter back to ZERO after each fillup and go! Otherwise, TRUCK HAS BEEN METICULOUSLY MAINTAINED MECHANICALLY either at a nearby DODGE DEALER or a VERY RELIABLE LOCAL GARAGE and is in perfect operating condition; DRIVE IT ANYWHERE WITH CONFIDENCE. New Mopar clutch at around 110,000 miles by Dodge dealer.Truck is BASIC -- wind up windows, manual door locks, seats, "window" air, etc. I bought it to pull a trailer, not to be fancy! Trailer is ALL ALUMINUM, 24-FOOT GOOSENECK with ATTACHED PULLOUT CANOPY, which has a small rip at one edge but overall is in VERY GOOD CONDITION. TRAILER was CUSTOM BUILT by TRANSPORT DESIGNS, MONTOURSVILLE, PA and is VERY HIGH QUALITY and in VERY GOOD CONDITION. Has 3 STORAGE CABINETS in GOOSENECK AREA (one door hinge is broken) and SLIDING, SCREENED WINDOWS for COMFORTABLE SLEEPING! Although officially rated at 10,500 pounds, it was built with two 7,000 pound axles, so it's real capacity is 14,000 pounds; Tow ball is rated at 25,000 lb. Because rear doors open FULL WIDTH, it could easily be converted to a CAR HAULER for antique cars, etc.The only possible downside on the trailer is that because it was used to haul cases of books, a number of holes were drilled into the inside panels in order to mount some of the cases on wood slats, so interior also has quite a few scratches. For work purposes no big deal; if you want the inside for show, however, you'd have some going over to do! Since the truck's main duty was to pull the trailer, I'd guess the trailer has approximately 110,000 miles on it. Tires on both truck and trailer range from good to excellent. Both vehicles JUST PASSED PENNSYLVANIA'S ANNUAL INSPECTION and are therefore good thru MARCH, 2015. Total cost of truck, trailer, canopy, towing setup, etc. in 1997 was around $40,000.Truck gets about 15 mpg pulling the loaded trailer; about 22 empty, and they're ready to drive anywhere.
