The car is older and does need some work. Drive seat leather has some tears as shown in pictures door handle exterior sticks but still works just have to push it down manually a/c does not work but the roof does so never really needed the air conditioning look at the pictures with this posting and you will see what I mean about these problems got all the paper work that came with the car when I bought it Clean title 1500.00 or best offer message me your offers The passenger side control panel does not work on the door and the seat is broke to fold down on the passenger side but you can still access the back from the driver side the vehicle does sputter a little when taking off but is still drivable and gets you to point A to B Very little rust on this vehicle for its age Check engine light does come on once and a while ABS light also comes on I think I listed everything that I know about problems but there maybe more that I am forgetting or unaware of. 1997 Sebring 2.5 V6 auto trans. Needs a timing belt & tensioner kit(??). I recently got this car in exchange for work and it was rattling bad from engine while running. Upon inspection I found noise from front of engine. when using bar on front crank pulley back & forth I could hear the noise. In the process, I rolled engine backwards & whatever was rattling broke completely. Now the timing belt is loose & obviously car won't run. It has good tires on front, ok on rear, leather interior, brakes look good. Mileage unknown as display inop., no battery, top has rips that have been patched, see pictures. 1997 Chrysler Sebring Jxi "One Owner". Carfax Certified . "No Accidents". 10 Service Records. 1997 Chrysler Sebring JXI... Carfax certified the miles to be accurate at 64,887. In Florida since 2002. Powered by what many people call the "Better" V6 that they put in Sebrings. The 2.5L V6 that even gets 19 combined and 26 MPG's on the highway according to fueleconomy.gov. We also had this vehicle safety inspected and the oil changed and it has been so well taken care of all it needed was new wiper blades! The exterior finish is "Breathtaking" and in a tough to find color "Black Crystal Clear coat". Just a stunning look with the Jet Black Convertible top, alloy wheels and the silver accent stripe. Custom Stripe Vehicle drives, shifts and runs like it should. The suspension is firm and "tight" feeling. The only thing I can find wrong is the odometer display sometimes goes blank for a short period of time then comes back on shortly. It still records the mileage of course! It looks "stunning" with near perfect 16" alloy wheels and gorgeous Black "Canvas" convertible top. This is the best top you can get with Canvas cloth material and rear glass with defroster. We prefer Canvas over Vinyl because it looks better, lasts longer and won't mold or mildew like Vinyl. 1997 Chrysler Sebring JXI convertible. 130,600 miles. 3.5 liter V-6, automatic transmission. Clear blue Texas title in my name. Starts/runs/drives -- Every day. Every time! The Good: Runs and drive great! No rust anywhere. Very Solid! Doesn't burn or use oil at all. All lights, wipers, heat, ac, etc work. Good glass. Power windows all go up and down. Power seat works. Power convertible top works. Tires are good. No "check engine" lights -- it will pass inspection easily. The Bad: Rear brakes sometimes make a squealing noise. They work fine, just complain. Previous owner told me the "mechanic" who replaced them put everything for the left wheel on the right, and the right wheel on the left, so they didn't self-adjust correctly. Most likely need to be re-done. I rarely drive more than 20 miles a day, so I just haven't had them fixed. Last year, someone broke in to it and stole the stereo head unit. (factory am-fm cassette). ** I just ordered a replacement head unit on line - will include it in price of car ** The factory 6 CD changer is still there, as is the amplifier. When they broke in, they totally wrecked the driver's door panel. ** Installed insulation and cloth to cover it up**The two front power windows need to be adjusted to fit the convertible top seal better. * Installed plastic drip edges to stop it* It's a matter of removing the door panels, loosening the adjustment nut, adjusting the tilt and height of the window, then tightening the nut. I just can't do it. The Ugly: Paint looks ok from far away. Up close it shows it's age. The convertible top was tan, but I sprayed it with a black flexible rubberized coating from Home Depot. Doesn't look as professional as I'd like. No head liner. Carpet removed on driver's side. Installed some house carpet. Seats not in the best cosmetic shape, back seat has some white paint on it. Carpets stained. Trunk carpeting was removed-and a storage tray installed. $1250 cash only for this great driver! I've turned down the " Thousand dollar Cash Money" offers...This car is well worth what I'm asking.
