For sale is my 1993 Cadillac Eldorado with the exclusive "Touring Coupe" package. Featuring dealer installed Rolls Royce style grill and Vogue Custom wheels with Vogue tyres. This car has stayed within the same family since new. It has always been garaged , and has never seen snow or rain and it shows. It was always used as a secondary car and was never taken out in any type of precipitation. It currently is sporting just under 47k miles. This car was purchased new by my grand father at Brogan Cadillac Ridgewood. It was always meticulously maintained by the dealer and so its oil and coolant have been changed regularly and is up to date. This car is in amazing condition and is in like new condition all around. There is very little minimal signs of wear. The interior has the typical new car leather smell which is very pleasing each time you enter the car. Most of the miles on this car are from highway travel. The paint shines very nicely and looks like glass. There is one small scratch on driver side fender and there are some small door dings on both doors. The carriage top is in perfect shape. There is zero rust on the car anywhere and the bottom is as clean as the top. The car does not leak or burn oil. The engine has plenty of power and the transmission shifts smoothly. This car is ready for its next owner. It can be used to drive anywhere or be kept as a show car. You will not find a better shape last generation Eldorado with such low miles in this very rare color combination. This car is super clean and runs perfectly. Why Spectacular? 19,000 Original Miles on this beautiful Mandarin Orange Metallic Eldorado. This car looks to be all original with the exception of the tires, front and rear bumper fillers. I received documentation to support the reported miles in the form of a signed odometer statement from the previous owner, a service record from a local Cadillac dealer in 2004 with documented 17,838 miles, and an appraisal from 1993 with 14,130 miles on it. The documentation is worth noting, however once you look at the condition of the carpet, seats, paint, under the hood and chassis, you'll be very impressed. The interior of this car is incredible. All power options on this one; power seats, power windowns, power locks, and power convetible top that all work! The carpets were well taken care of. The dash and components are perfect. The door panels are great. The interior electronics all seem to work appropriately. The only flaw, which you see in the pictures, are two very small blemishes in the leather seats. The convertible top is excellent and a standard orange vinyl soft boot is included. The exterior paint finish is what you would expect of an original 1975 model with 19,000 miles. There are a few scratches and knicks here and there. I chose not to touch up and molest the originality. The unique part of the car will be the dealer optioned "Continental" deck lid. I was told it was $500 option at the dealer when you bought the car. I was told these were done in lacquer, and many of you may know that years of aging creates a sinking effect and the body work to construct is noticeable up close. The white paint-on pinstripes are all intact, no burn through anywhere! The chrome bumpers and stainless trim all around are great. One hubcap has a little rash on it. The glass is great as well, including the rear glass window. This way this car goes down the road is impressive, I assume like they did new. The motor has no apparent leaks. The transmission shifts smoothly. Mechanically what you would expect. I believe the original muffler and exhaust is still on the car, the muffler rear seam is split a bit and slightly noticeable, see pictures. You will also notice how nice it is underneath the hood. The original decals intact, none missing from what I can tell. It has a newer AC compressor, still R-12 and worked this fall! As mentioned, the originality is incredible. You shouldn't be disappointed with this one, however if you need clarification please ask about anything! These quality 70's Cadillac's are becoming more popular every day. This question always comes up: Can I drive this home? My answer: First of all, you can do whatever you want. Everything checks out during my 20 miles of driving, however it is 40 years old! The car runs good, has clean oil, clean transmission fluid, but things can happen! This vehicle is being sold "as is" with no warranty. This Eldorado sports the original stainless steel roof and is the last year GM manufactured the full sized Eldorado, making this car a rare find. I purchased this car in May 1993 with 65,000 original miles. This historical account has been passed from the second owner, has been consistent over the years, and has remained with the car today. Fans know that Elvis Presley loved Cadillacs, and he really loved flashy Cadillacs. He also made sure they were modified to his taste. Everyone has heard the true story of Elvis and June Juanico flying to a Houston, TX. Cadillac dealer June 12, 1956, and buying a white 1956 Eldorado Biarritz convertible with black interior. He immediately turned it over to his customizer, Jimmy Sanders, of Memphis. He squashed a handful of grapes on the fender and told Jimmy that was the color he wanted. Hence, his purple convertible came to be. He also changed the interior to white roll and pleated leather. The coupe in this ad, according to verbal history, was purchased and given by Presley to his manager, Colonel Tom Parker. The car was an unimpressive green and white with green and white interior. Presley bought the car, then stipulated that it be repainted red and white and a red and white interior installed. Later, Elvis also gave Parker a 1975 Blue Cadillac Seville, that displayed the TN. license plate “ADMIRAL”. This Caddy sold at Guernsey’s Las Vegas Auction in 1999 for $93,750. 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz. VIN 6L47S6Q285705 The Biarritz was a late midyear option package for 1976 that added specific trim and moldings as well as option groups. Odometer presently shows 82,5xx. I have Probate paperwork from 1993 showing 70,000 miles and service records through 2005 so I believe the mileage to be correct. You are welcome to inspect the car in person, or have a representative look at the car at your expense. It is being sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty except for clear Connecticut title. Connecticut no longer issues titles to vehicles over 20 years old so title will be transferred via Bill of Sale and documentation of Chain of Ownership. Car has twin front 6-way power white leather seats in decent condition with no rips or tears. Carpet is in very good condition with a small tear on the passenger side. The engine always starts right up with no smoke, and drives and shifts as it should, based on a short drive around the neighborhood. The engine has a tick/knock that comes and goes. It does not appear to have ever been apart. The HVAC auto temperature control operates normally; fan is noisy but operates, the AC compressor does not come on. Power windows and locks appear to work as they should, though the drivers side window operates slow. Tilt and telescopic wheel function nice. Exterior lights and signals work. Headliner is clean and does not sag. The dash is not cracked. The interior does not show it's age at all. The twilight sentinel and auto dimmer operate as they should. Rear window and fender-mounted fiber optics operate as they should. The undercarriage is sound, with a functioning, quiet exhaust system with cat intact. There are some surface rust scabs showing throughout the body (see photos). In the day we'd call this car a "10 footer". The lower rear quarters have some rust starting. The bumper fillers have deteriorated (as they do with all Cadillacs of the era) There is a dent and tear in the passenger rear quarter panel. No holes in the floors or trunk. The car stops as it should and the brakes appear to have plenty of life left in them. I have not attempted to use the parking brake due to the age of the car and it's apparent years of disuse. The drive train shows oil stains but there doesn't appear to be any leaks that cause drips. The power antenna is up and does not go down. I don't know whether or not the cruise control works but the dash light does illuminate. The level control has been bypassed but a Schrader valve behind the license plate allows you to inflate manually. I added air around Christmas and they are still holding the same pressure. Tires have tread but are older and show signs of cracking. They are mounted on aftermarket wire wheels that were on the car when I got it.
