BMW 850i, the 12 cylinder beast with ONLY, no typo here, ONLY 54,280 and a 2 owner vehicle. Why so few miles. In 1992 a ___ year old owner of World Oil Corp in California bought it. He was loaded to the degree that he had a chaufer and used this car EXTREMELY infrequently. When I bought it the car had on it 49,000-51,00 miles I don’t exactly remember but it was either slightly under or over 50k miles. He was 92 years old when I bought it from him in 2010 ish. He sold it because at 92 he and his wife had a hard time getting out of it. It was and still is flawless with 3 minor, none mechanical issues. Drivers seat, left side towards the back, previous owner used a cane so there is a nickel size hole in the leather. Back passenger seat has some discoloration but not via heat related issues. The leather is good. To fix the hole in the seat and redye is $1200. I priced it. I left it as is since the hole is nickel size and the back seat discoloration is mild and basically the back seat, if you know these cars, is unusable. Top of the sunroof, about the size of a quarter, slight indentation due to a tennis ball hitting it. It was not a golf ball so the depth is not deep and can probably be pulled out, and no paint removed since it was a tennis ball. Front hood, 2 chips from our constant Arizona road pebbles. One is about the size of a pencil eraser, other is about half the size. You could pull the one on the sunroof and touch up the 2 but I left as is, never bothered me. The paint is AWESOME, which is why I didn’t touch up the hood. Beyond that it is flawless. I have had it maintained at an import car specialist in Arizona that you will be provided the name to so you can validate or get your own inspector. It is flawless. AC works great and was converted to the new equipment. Always the correct oil at the correct mileage. Shifts perfectly. As with all 850’s the computer read out has some pixels missing but is readable and works including the ignition shut off. Windows work perfectly, light pop up perfectly, Tires have over 80% tread life. Radio perfect including weather band and in trunk CD player works on all slots. Heated seats work, cruise works, basically no mechanical issues at all. Recent tune up, oil change, thermostat, fan check up, new fuel pumps (both sides), newer batterys (1 year old). That should do it. Reason I am selling is I am moving from Phoenix to New York City and this car would be beat up both by weather and New York City taxi and normal traffic. Just not practical to have in the city. Buying a knock around old school Jeep to replace it. Oh yes, ZERO rust, ALWAYS a California and now an Arizona car, 2 owner.

SOUTHERN CAR CUSTOM WHEELS EXTRA CLEAN Here is a gorgeous example of a very cool BMW 850i. These cars are not as readily available as they used to be and they are getting more and more difficult to find in this condition. This car is a southern California kept car that has a 100% rust free body, you will see in the photos of the undercarriage that this car is very clean and you will not have any issues with corroded components underneath. This car has a great, accident free history and will be sold with a clean clear actual mileage unbranded title. Please take time to enjoy the 79 photos including 20 of the undercarriage. The body of the car is nice and straight, there are no dings, dents or scratches. When I bought the car there was some fading on the top so I took it to All European here in Phoenix which specializes in higher end European vehicles and I had them correct the faded areas including refinishing the roof panel in high gloss black for a more modern look. The car looks every bit as nice in person as it does in the photos. Glass is in great condition, sides and rears are lightly privacy tinted. Tires are excellent showing at least 70% tread life remaining and the custom alloy wheels look great. The hubs and brake calipers were also detailed so instead of the typical 'brown aged' look, it looks fresh with red calipers and clean silver rotors. All lights and lenses look good and are in good working order as well including both motorized headlamp doors. Inside, this BMW is clean and fresh as it was owned by a non smoker, there are no tobacco or foul odors inside. The seats are all intact with no seam separation or tears, wear-through etc but they do show a little wear due to the age. There are a few spots in the headliner that i are starting to sag a bit but nothing major and I can have it redone for about $200.00, I did not think it was a big thing and I wanted to keep the price down on the car. All of the gauges are in good working order, windows, sunroof, A/C, etc. all operational. The stereo is all original with the original 6 disc CD changer which has it's cartridge as well. Aside from the passenger power seat not wanting to go up or down, it does function both forward and back as well as the recline, everything else seems to be functioning correctly. The car drives nicely, it starts up and sounds nice, shifts well and holds the road very well also. Of course, being a 92 model it is not as tight and precise and a 2014 M3 but it does what it's supposed to and does it with style. There are no warning lights on the dash of the car and I have not detected any drops of fluid under it on my shop floor. Don't miss this opportunity to own a true classic which will likely gain in value in the years to come if kept in this condition. I have priced it somewhere in the middle range of what the market is for a car that I feel is nicer than most available. It's not the 28k mile $27900 car but it's nowhere close to the 130k mile $6500 car either. Selling my 92 E32 BMW, I am the 2nd owner of this vehicle and it took forever to find the 3.5l six cylinder that we have here. I purchased the car with about 43k miles. I replaced the transmission fluid (full flush), rear differential (redline mt-90) and coolant flush. Actually the transmission fluid was replaced at 43k upon purchase, around 70k as my maintenance, then again at 81k because the transmission seals had failed. The car drives and shifts great since the day I bought it, I know this is said often when selling, but this car truly does drive great. Also at 43k I changed the fuel filter, plugs, wires, brake fluid, etc. My BMW mechanic perform most all of the work on this vehicle except the easy maintenance, which I took care of. The car also has new springs and struts (Bavarian Motorsport springs along with Bilstein shocks). The drive is extremely solid, as in bumps make no noise, it is nice... Steering is straight, engine smooth, sounds exactly as a well running 3.5l straight six, not dead quiet but, like a big six. I have the original bmw records in the glove box, it was maintained by the first owner, they just didn't drive it much. I also have all my records, including oil changes, etc. I have the oil change every 3-4k. I added a GROM unit to the stereo system, which is dock able in the ashtray. You an easily purchase the bluetooth connection from GROM for "no wires" connectivity. The cd player was also purchased (BMW oem), stereo sounds pretty awesome for a stock system. I also have staggered tires on the 16x8 oem e38 rims. The fronts are 225/55 r16 and the backs are 245/50 r16. The rear tires look great, very wide for a 245. They were purchased at around 48k ish and will need to be replaced. The spare tire is the original rim and pirelli tire, never used. The headliner was also replaced at 43k, because when I first purchased the vehicle, I had it detailed and the shop used a steam cleaner on the headliner and it dropped, so they had it replaced by a high end upholsterer in Barrington, IL. The headliner is freakishly nice and should outlast the vehicle. This is probably best because most of the early to mid 90's bmws headliner glue gives way over time. The headlights have been redone with new glass and painted reflector, they perform very well and look great. They also have 5k HID headlights installed. The exhaust was also replaced around 55k, it is stock, and I had the stainless tips welded on. I drove this vehicle for over 4 years so I know pretty much know its history/issues. First thing, the AC works great, just needs to be recharged in the spring. It was converted to the new system by BMW and I have had my mechanic check the system for leaks and they cannot find anything. Basically, the charge lightens up over the winter and needs a shot in the spring, very cheap. I am guessing the first owner was a pretty big fellow as the memory seats were way back and low, the seats were re-done (similar to leatherique) by the dealer I purchased the vehicle from. They did not do a great job and I have been meaning to address them, but never got around to it. They look ok, but could be much better. I have owned e36, e34 and this e32 and the seats all wear the same, quickly and poorly. Also, the heater works great, but the center vents only blow cool air from the outside, I actually have checked this on other e32's and they all worked the same, and I never dove into it further. They work fine with the A/C. Also, the body is not perfect, there are some small dings on the passenger side, tiny surface rust spots from chips, bmw batches (hood and trunk) are old, there is a small dent on the driver lower rear drivers side door that I wanted to have paint-less dent removal on, but it just didn't bother me enough. All in all the car is a great example of an e32 that has been taken care of and ready for its next owner. I am selling this car locally along with this listing. I will not ship, pickup only. Sorry for the long winded description, but I try to be as honest as possible with the history of the car.

Full disclosure, it has a few problems you'd expect from a 23 year old car: the original paint is reaching its lifespan (some fading, and oxidation visible in pics)the engine leaks oil from the head gasket, but it doesn't burn any oilthe muffler is showing its age and is a little loud, but passes inspectionthe head liner droopsthe black leather under the seat covers is cracked (took the kids home from the beach in their wet trunks too many times) It's never been in an accident, and other than the usual cosmetic dings/scratches, the body is perfectly straight. I'm only the second owner of this car - I still have the original window sticker! (Yeah, the CarFax will also show the BMW dealership it was traded-in to, and my old neighbor's dealership who bought it from BMW to sell to me - but that all happened in one day, so I'm basically the second owner.) Initial production was V12-engined 850i coupes only, with either a 6-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic.for 1992, the 8-series only saw minor updates. A shift-interlock was added to the 4-speed automatic transmission, and somewhere between late 1991 cars and early 1992 cars, BMW adapted their 2-mode Electronic Damping Control system to the 8 series, with "Sport" and "Comfort" modes. Also, in response to dipping sales in response to the depressed market (Gulf War conflict, etc.), BMW produced 18 prototype base-model 8-series cars, called 830Ci's, which had the 3.0L 218bhp M60B30 V8 from the 530i and 730i. This powertrain was deemed inappropriate for a car of the 8's stature, and all 18 830Ci's were subsequently destroyed.1993 saw the introduction of the lighter, cheaper V8-powered 840Ci model to the European market, although the 840Ci didn't arrive on US shores until model year 1994.
