It was last inspected in 2012, during this time the vehicle needed a rear differential to be replaced. I had no money for it so parked it and thats where it sat. It still has clean oil but seems the starter has failed so I wasn't able to start it. The engine was swapped, current engine has about 65k miles on it purchased from 7mge dealer in FL. New motor mounts, new radiator, (new as of 3 years ago). I'm sure someone mechanically inclined can get it running. When running it is smooth. The transmission works great. At least 1 of the tires appeared to be deflated, rims and tires included. There is some rot along the drivers side ground level. Oxidation throughout the exterior's paint. I have owned this car since 2007 and was registered from then til 2012. The law in RI during that time was vehicles over 10 years old didn't need a title to be registered. With that said I don't have a title for it. I have the old reg and can provide a bill of sale which should be sufficient. For a Supra purist, it is a great piece of history. Have all books and tools ( see pic ). All buttons, switches and systems on point. The Black paint has an amazing shine. NO ACCIDENTS / NO DAMAGE. Very well preserved. The moldings, handles, window glass, lettering, targa roof panel, covers, rubber seals, and all other exterior features are in super condition. The Konig wheels are clean and the Nexen tires - 235-35-19 front - 75% tread - 245-35-19 rears are new. It drives straight down the road with zero issues. Always hand washed / waxed. On the inside, the Black / Gray interior looks great and has no fade. As you can see in the pics, the seats have always been covered and all fabric is in perfect shape. I am the second owner of this well-maintained 1991 Toyota Supra Turbo model with Targa Roof. The vehicle has been garaged every winter of its existence. The car is in very good condition and has had absolutely no issues over the last three years I have owned it. It is very hard if not impossible to find a Supra of this vintage and condition with only 77K for mileage. This beautiful vehicle will undoubtedly provide many years of driving enjoyment. A few little "niggles" that a buyer might want to know: - Driver's side sun visor has a 3 inch by 3 inch cutout on the flip side (you have to flip it down to see it). The original owner had cut out a small section for a radar detector but there is nothing there now. - Steering wheel has slight wear on the circular holding area. You cannot feel it. You can only see it and it's not getting any worse. It was like this when I purchased the car in 2011 and remains identical 4 years later. - Front black plastic splitter (black trim underneath the front bumper) has a few scuff marks and is in what I'd call "decent" shape. It has done it's job well which is to protect the front bumper from scuffs. - Factory white wheels have some minor scuffing and scratches. Overall, for 1991, I would rate these wheels as excellent condition. So after the car sat at the mechanics shop for 6 months, until the women sold it to the brother of the mechanic. He did not do anything with it except let it sit for a couple months. The mechanic basically got the car to be a running and driving project. I bought the car from the brother in January in which case my girlfriend and I completed the project. This is a great running and driving car, and I would drive it anywhere. It is a blast to drive and everything works proper and as it should except the passenger door window, LED radio display (radio works fine though and sounds good), dome lights, antenna motor, and the AC does not work. The Carfax shows the correct mileage was reported for years until a typo was made. The correct mileage is reported following the typo and I can provide paperwork if necessary to show that the mileage is accurate. The rear seats need to be recovered. There was some apparent sun damage to the top of the seats that caused the leather to crack and the padding to be exposed. It's not noticeable when the seats are laid down.
