For sale here is a clean rust free California 1990 Dodge Ram W250 with the legendary "Million Mile " 12V Cummins turbo charged diesel, 727 3 speed auto transmission, Dana front and rear differentials with 3.07 gearing to keep the rpm's low but still tow a house! The motor runs great and is all stock except for the K&N air intake and 4" exhaust. The transfer case is fully operational and the transmission was just serviced and shifting great! The air conditioning is nice and cold and all of the electronics work. The paint was redone to match original color combination with nice gloss but not perfect and does have some small dings and scratches. The interior looks good but is missing the headliner, the seat has a tear on drivers side and the carpet is a 25 year old carpet with some staining. The truck has aftermarket 16" wheels with like new LT285/75/16 all terrain tires. This one is the right color combination of two-toned gray exterior and burgundy interior . As you already know these are getting harder and harder to find and especially hard to find in original untouched condition that has been turned up and one that hasn't been beat up and used as a work truck. Transmission shifts up and down perfectly. Truck has a very straight body, good paint and a rawson/koenig flat bed and tool boxes. Flatbed is in excellent condition and has goose neck and receiver hitches with brake box and 4, 5 pin and R.V. style plug for lights and brakes. Truck also has aluminum running boards, old school west coast mirrors,good upholstery, crank windows, and aluminum wheels and custom steel chrome tube grille. all gauges and heater work great a/c works but has a leak somewhere. speedometer works good odometer is inop and mileage shows 138K actual miles unknown. a.m./f.m. c.d. player works. Doors shut easily and no slop in the door pins. Front tires look new and rear tires all have decent tread. Front end feels tight.....we replaced the idler arm and inner and outer tie rods on passenger side. We also replaced front rotors and brake pads. door windows roll up and down easily, windshield has crack in lower middle. wipers and washer work as do all running lights. This is a very tight truck and runs and drives excellent! Very clean for age and never rode hard and put up wet! Clean oklahoma title. For sale is a beast of a truck!...its a rust free 1990 Dodge Ram W250 12 Valve inter-cooled Cummins Diesel 4x4 5 speed with a custom flatbed that runs great and is ready to work or play! This truck will go anywhere and pull anything! The truck just hit 200k miles which is nothing for this "million-mile motor"! The pump was turned up a bit, bigger injectors were installed and a FASS filter/ fuel pump combo was added to ensure the fuel was getting there...all of this gets the coal rolling! The 5 speed Getrag shifts great and a new clutch was just installed. The transfer case was just resealed and shifts great! The rear main seal was also just replaced but the pan still has a small leak at the rear. The air conditioning condenser was removed to add an intercooler, but the fan and heat still work. The custom flatbed has a lockable box on drivers side and the passenger side was designed to hold fuel and hide the equipment to pump it out. A set of aftermarket wheels and Nitto off-road tires were added. Clean California title in hand. This is the Club Cab model with rear jump seats, and it has the LE trim package. The tires (BFGoodrich Commercial T/A), complete A/C system, belts, oil change, windshield, alignment, and batteries (Continental) are all freshly done. This truck drives like new and is ready to go. This truck has only had one single owner since new, and it has lived in the Dallas area since new. I have the original title showing that he purchased it on 4/7/1992 with 15 miles on the odometer. He was a member of the Turbo Diesel Register and I have a huge folder of receipts showing how well he maintained the truck, and also how much time and money he put into lightly upgrading the truck. There hasn't ever been a gooseneck or fifth wheel hitch installed, and the inside of the bed has a Rhino Liner and still looks new. The heaviest thing this truck ever pulled on occasion was a 16 ft. car trailer. I have owned this truck personally for about a year and I love it, but it's time to let it go to someone else who appreciates what this truck is. The aftermarket parts on this truck are extensive, but not intrusive. Most of them were done to make the truck more reliable as opposed to building power. There hasn't ever been any damage or rust anywhere on it. The paint looks good but it's not what I would call show quality. If you're picky I would plan on wet-sanding and buffing a few small areas. It carries great oil pressure cold with full EGR Valve Gauges etc. Transfer case and all 4x4 work very well. As stated, the Killer Dowel Pin (KDP) Tab has already been done! Transmission has fresh oil and shifts smooth and correctly. Steering feels like new… it is very tight as is entire front end. New ball joints and front suspension parts. (play is what I would very minimal for one of these trucks (ALMOST NONE)). It has good wheel alignment and it does not pull left or right; drives straight down the road. It is practically smoke free, even at idle when cold. Oil (Rotella Diesel) was changed about 800 miles ago and it is still on the “full” mark and clean. Rear main and front seals are fine. There are no leaks in the transmission, transfer case or differentials. The springs on this truck are good and have a good arch (see truck side photos). Sits level side to side. Shocks are older but still good. Front brakes have good pad left. Good solid brakes. It’s been very reliable. It has a new 3” exhaust that sounds great. The undercarriage of the truck is clean in a way only a very salt-free truck. She spent most of her life on a southern Virginia farm. BodyAs stated, practically zero undercarriage rust and just a little by top back fenders. It looks great in pictures and very good “in person”. Shes has some front hood paint spray as she was repainted a few years back and the paint job was quite good, but maybe 7.5/10 at best, in my opinion. No body work was done. The truck has solid sheet metal. Fenderwells and rocker panels are a main concern on these early cummins 12-valve trucks. This trucks are amazingly clean and BASICALLY NO RUST AT ALL. Other than front areas as discussed, there is no peeling. When you see it in person you will see imperfection in the paint and I am reiterating this because it does look good in the pictures. You have to get within 3-5 feet of it to see it. I guess it depends how picky you are. I have gotten pickier as I get older and I can barely stand anything that's not new but you can't get a new one. But.....the paint is still above average. Anyone who knows about these trucks knows they had a problem with roof rust, especially around the rain gutter. This has a small area! AGAIN, IT IS VERY SOLID BUT NOT PERFECT. I also pulled the tail lights out to check inside the bed for rust under the fender flares – again there is none. No hitch or 5th wheel was in it. The bed of the truck is scratched up a bit, from years to and from the hardware store, etc, but rust free. The door insulation on the cab is in decent shape…the hard rubber strips that sit at the base of the side windows are all theres; they are somewhat a brittle and cracking a bit but still functional / good. The vent windows operate very tight and have ZERO wind whistle. The windshield is in very good condition. All of the rest of the glass is OEM “Safeguard” and in good condition. The door hinges are in good condition and the doors open and close ok. ** Truck bed photos provided upon request InteriorIt is in quite good stock condition. Headliner is excellent. Door panels excellent. No cracks or sun damage to dash. The seat shows quality and care of interior as it had only very minor wear and small quarter-size tear on the cording on the driver’s side. It is a non-smoker truck and has no cigarette burns or odor. The driver sun visor still holds original transfer case schematics. The visors are in like-new shape and stay right up against the headliner. There is no sun fade because it was garaged most of it whole life. Electrical/HVACVery original electrical system. Fuse box still sits in factory clip in the lower dash. All exterior lights high/low beams work. Dome light works, through the switch and when doors are opened. Manual windows and locks work. Horn works like new. Turn signals and flashers work. Horn works. (Recent Virginia State Safety Inspection Passed). Heater works. Blower works on all speeds. Gas gauge is accurate. Wipers and washer work. All in all it is a good solid truck. The reserve is reasonable. I have a free and clear title in my name. Feel free to check carfax and autocheck. The gear ratio is 3.73:1 with a Limited Slip rear differential. This is the Quad Cab model with the 6.25 ft short bed. This truck has has leather interior and bucket seats. This truck has only had 2 local owners since new so there isn't any rust or corrosion anywhere on it. As you can imagine, it drives great and is ready to go anywhere you want to take it. I've put just over 1,000 miles on this truck myself and it has been flawless. I just had this truck completely checked out and serviced at a local diesel shop. They changed the oil and filter, replaced the fuel filter, and replaced the right front wheel bearing. The tires and wheels are also new. The engine does not have any blow-by or leaks. The transmission shifts perfect. The suspension is very tight. This truck is ready to drive. I bought this truck directly from the second owner. He bought it in 2010 with 70k miles so he only put about 10k miles on it per year. He also had quite a bit of maintenance and upgrades done during his ownership. This second owner was an older man who has been a heavy equipment mechanic his entire career so he takes good care of his stuff and that's evident here. The transmission was rebuilt about 2 years ago with a heavy-duty torque converter, and an auxiliary transmission cooler was added. A 5" exhaust system was installed along with a K&N air intake system, and the headlights have been converted to HID for improved night vision. Moving to the interior, he added leather seating, power windows, power locks, a Prestige alarm system with keyless entry, and a custom center console with houses two 100V power inverters and a removable ice chest. This is a really tight and comfortable truck that's ready to go. The interior is very clean. No weird smells. The seats and all upholstery look great with only a couple tiny nicks in the leather. Everything works great from the power door locks to the windows, cruise control, etc. The A/C is ice cold and the Heat is hot. All original books and manuals are included, along with 2 keys and 2 keyless remotes. Very clean truck The exterior is also in very good condition. The paint is in great shape and shines excellent. Since this has been a local Texas truck since new, there isn't any rust or corrosion anywhere on it. The truck really looks great. Carfax shows an accident in 2009 which would have been at about 50k miles or so, but I can't find any evidence of any previous collision damage so it was apparently very minor. There a few tiny paint nicks and a few tiny dings in the rear bumper, but nothing very noticeable. As you can see, this truck shows extremely well.
