. This 1953 Chrysler Imperial Custom C58 with COLD FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING is absolutely beautiful, runs and drives almost like a new car, and is loaded with options and fully operational! The Custom was the top of the line 6 Passenger Imperial, and it was Luxurious indeed, a worthy competitor to Cadillac, Packard and Lincoln! 331 Hemi V-8 Power, Air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seat, Solex heat-resistant glass and 15 Jewel Moparmatic steering wheel clock by Benrus! . Air Conditioning was a very new feature for Chrysler , having just been introduced in 1953. Almost every part of the Imperial design was different from the standard Chrysler, there are many, many differences that make this car special including the grille, side trim, fenders, and much more. It is a subtle and tasteful design, and in person the high quality of the restoration shines through, I can't emphasize enough how well this car was restored. . An imposing view! All the better because the chrome and trim looks like new! This car was restored in the 1990's and still looks fresh today! Here's a video showing the Imperial in Operation! . . I spoke with one of the former owners about the car's history. He told me it came from Phoenix, Arizona originally, and stayed in the Phoenix area until early in the new century. It was always a nicely preserved, well cared for car, which had significant restoration work done in the 1990's, including paint, chrome, and some of the interior. The car was too nice to need a total restoration! The 53,900 miles showing are thought to be original, as are the doorpanels. . Black shows everything, and this car wears it's black suit with pride, look how straight the bodywork is, and how deep and reflective the paint is! . Absolutely stunning - better in person than in the photos if you ask me - and extremely rare. . Jade Green Interior is gorgeous! Note the horn center mounted Mopar-matic Clock! . Gorgeous! . Rich wool and leather patterned doorpanels, with lovely woodgrain accent. Note the power window switch. . The lap of luxury in 1953 ! . Beautiful! . Here in the back shelf are the Air Conditioning Vents. . Fold-down armrests front and back! . CHRYSLER FIRE POWER! Hemi power in all it's 331 cubic inch V-8 glory! That engine is both powerful and smooth! And the 2 cylinder A/C Compressor is mighty impressive too! . Excellent engine bay. . The power steering pump is mounted to the back of the generator. Note how clean and nicely maintained it is, with fresh looking hoses, fan belts and the like. . This engine runs beautifully! The transmission works great too, it's a later Chrysler Torqueflite 3 speed automatic, upgraded recently. . Beautiful wheels and Goodyear wide whitewalls! . Extremely high quality restoration work over a dry Arizona car with the extremely rare Factory Air Conditioning! 1950 Chrysler Imperial American Classic. This 1950 Chrysler Imperial American Classic is in good condition.- 54000 original miles- 3rd owner- Passed road inspection- Almost completely restored- All original with matching numbers- Exterior color is Cream with Tan cloth interior- Flathead V8 engine- Fluid Drive transmission. Note. See below for history.- The Chrysler Imperial introduced in 1926 was the companys top of the range vehicle for much of its history. - Models were produced with the Chrysler name until 1954 and again from 1990 to 1993. - The company tried to position the cars as a prestige marque that would rival Cadillac and Lincoln.- According to a feature article in AACAs magazine The adjective imperial according to Websters Dictionary means sovereign supreme superior or of unusual size or excellence. - The word imperial thus justly befits Chrysler’s highest priced quality model.- The 1950 Crosley Hot Shot is often given credit for the first production disc brakes but the Chrysler Crown Imperial actually had them first as standard equipment at the beginning of the 1949 model year. - The Crosley disc was a Goodyear development a caliper type with ventilated rotor originally designed for aircraft applications. - Only the Hot Shot featured it. Lack of sufficient research caused enormous reliability problems especially in regions requiring the use of salt on winter roads such as sticking and corrosion. - Drum brake conversion for Hot Shots was quite popular.- Serious inquires only. Qualified buyers are eligible for Financing Nationwide Shipping and Extended Warranties.-

About the 1985 Chrysler LeBaron As a luxury vehicle, the Chrysler LeBaron was a successful, long-running addition to the Chrysler and Imperial lineups. Through the years, multiple LeBaron body styles were available, but the convertible coupe LeBaron is probably the best known. LeBarons were relatively safe, and reached the apex of their popularity through the 1980s and early 1990s. The car was capable of serious power and represented the best in Chrylser styling and luxury, but production ended in 1995 to make way for new Chryslers like the Sebring. The later LeBaron sedans used fairly powerful engines and had fairly decent fuel economy. The 1994 LeBaron sedan, for instance, featured a 3.0-liter 141 horsepower V6 engine and was capable of about 21 mpg in city and 27 mpg on the highway. Sedans seated six and had ample trunk space. Like many Chryslers of the era, they were large cars with high safety ratings. Reliability was average to high depending on the model of the LeBaron. When Imperial became its own brand outside of Chrysler, it introduced the LeBaron in 1957 as a luxury model. Over time, numerous body types and designs were used with the LeBaron; throughout the 1970s and 1980s it became a station wagon, sedan, and an especially popular two-door coupe. They were especially popular racing cars, but the LeBaron was phased out and replaced by other Chrysler models in 1995. The Chrysler LeBaron was assembled in Toluca, Mexico and in Newark, Delaware for its last generations. A large number of trim options were available for LeBarons. In the 1990s, the car was avaiable in a base trim, Landau trim, and LE trim. The LE had a three-speed automatic transmission while other trips featured a four-speed automatic overdrive transmission. Other differentiations between trim choices included improved interiors and sound systems and the addition of a sunroof. Convertible models were also available throughout the run of later LeBarons. The LeBaron was considered a relatively safe vehicle in head-on collisions, with a four star rating in this area from the NHTSA for its 1994 model. It was also lauded for its luxurious interior and compelling looks, as well as a history of powerful engines and reliable construction. Eventually, however, the Chrysler LeBaron sedan was discontinued, and in its place Chrysler kept a steady stream of similar front-wheel drive sedans such as the Sebring and the New Yorker. Nevertheless, the LeBaron's unmistakable styling was a significant force in the Chrysler lineup from the 1960s on. "Okay to call as late as 11:00pm.” (FaceTime available for only serious buyers, since the car is sitting at my storage) Hello, up for sale is a very rare 4-SPEED 1973 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400. I honestly haven't owned this too long. When my son and I saw it with a FOR SALE sign on the side of a backwoods road in (Boring, Oregon) we just had to stop out of curiosity. Expecting to see an automatic, our jaws dropped when we saw that it was a 4-SPEED. I personally haven't seen one probably since the 80's. I JUST HAD TO HAVE IT! I would love to restore it, but just don't have the time. Not a money issue, but just a time issue is all. Anyways, I could keep going on and on listing things about it but you really must see it to appreciate just how nice it is. Miles: Odometer shows 19,125 "works," but most likely 119,000 VIN #: 2U87T3N141865 Engine: Not original matching numbers. Has a slightly built Chevy 350 small block. Runs and drives, (see YouTube video link.) Transmission: 4-SPEED manual (Shifts great through all 4 gears and not sloppy at all.) Drivetrains: RWD Exterior: Black, needs paint. One dent on front fender, but not too bad. Has extremely small amount of rust. Interior: Grey carpet and the rest of the interior is black. Carpet and seats are new. Personally, I'd rather have black carpet. FOR YOUR INFORMATION: • Clean Oregon Title in hand. • Good tags until September, 2015. • Spare wheel. • Miscellaneous parts (see pics.) • Floor boards are solid. So is the trunk. • Runs and drives, (see YouTube video link.) • Engine starts up every time with no hesitation. • EXHAUST SYSTEM ALL NEW. (See pics.) • All windows are good with no cracks or rock chips. • Seals and chrome trim are good. • Wheels are not original, but look good and in near new condition still. • Drivers side door lock sticks sometimes. • Everything works on dash beside original tachometer. Most likely it’s just un-hooked. (Aftermarket one installed in working condition) Options: • 4-SPEED • Factory Air-Conditioning car, (not hooked up.) • Front power disc brakes • AM/FM Stereo, (currently not in working condition, UNKNOWN.) • MP3 (Single Disc), (currently not in working condition, UNKNOWN.) • Speakers, (currently not in working condition, UNKNOWN.) • Fitted Car Cover with lock ?
