1980 911 SC Targa in rare Mocha Brown. This car has 72,235 miles. My father and I have owned it since 1999. He bought it for himself as a 50th birthday gift to himself and then handed it down to me as a wedding gift 4 years ago. The car is a rare color, Mocha Brown. It is a rich, dark brown, and almost looks black when the sun isn't shining on it. The paint is beautiful, there isn't a scratch or dent to be found. The car received a full exterior repaint in its original color (Mocha Brown) 4 years ago due to some small scratches and chips in the paint from road use.The interior is a tan/cork color. The front seats were redone in high quality German vinyl about 5 years ago. The interior is very nice except for a few small cracks on the dashboard. I have the dash covered with a carpet cover that I purchased from porsche performance products. It looks nice and cuts down on any glare. There is also a crack in the rear vinyl on the rear shelf near the rear speaker on the passenger rear (see picture). It doesn't really bother me so I let it be. There is a small brown spot on the rear seat bottom on drivers side (see picture). The steering wheel is a very nice Porsche Nardi steering wheel. The power windows works fine but the passenger side is a little slow going up.The motor is the standard and original 3.0. It starts up and idles great. All the necessary upgrades have been done, Carrera Chain tensioners, and Pop off valve. This car also has the commonly upgraded SSI heat exchangers. The Air Conditioning doesn't work although the vehicle was equipped from the factory with A/C. Not sure if it is the compressor or something else. It has never worked and we never missed it, as we usually have the targa top off when we take it out, which is only on nice days.
