This is a diesel engine that starts every single time, and runs like a top!The odometer has 5 digits, but I was assured when I bought it that the 6th digit is a "1" - so the mileage 190,XXX. According to my research, International built the engine and it's rated for 500,000 - 1 Million miles, so there is plenty of life left.You'll see in the pictures that there have been some modifications. There is a raised plywood floor installed (and insulated), as well as a folding wood loft (can be removed easily - I'll take it out if you don't want it) and some wall studs. There is a side door and window to help access, and to allow more ventilation and light inside the box! Both are great additions for a utility truck. All additions are weather-stripped and water-tight.Automatic drive - no need to shift! Power steering with good handling! Dually rear wheels for hauling large loads, and a rear hitch for towing. The tires have a lot of tread left, and it comes with a pair of extra front wheels + tires (full-size).This is a solid truck and is perfect for almost anything. It would make a great utility truck - the wood loft would come out in a matter of minutes. The rear loading-ramp makes loading and unloading a breeze, and the roll-gate works like new!Will pass inspection easily. Want a vehicle that has hundreds of thousands of miles left on an engine that gets 12-15mpg? We're selling our 1990 Ford E-350 V8 diesel 14' box truck/cube van (u-haul truck, automatic). The truck runs like a top. Two new (April) 1000 CCA batteries, new starter, new float bowl & water sensor. Aftermarket radio with CD/mp3/aux port is included (see picture). The interior is in the initial stages of conversion to an RV. We have a plywood floor in and insulated, a large (48") weather-tight RV window (cranks open, w/screen) in the attic nose, and a 26" weather-tight RV door w/screen on the passenger side (see photos). There is a folding bed platform built into the attic. Holds up to a queen mattress, and a futon mattress folds right up out of the way of the door and increases usable space when not sleeping. It's built with 2x4s and 2x6 slats. With three 400lb heavy-duty ball-bearing gate hinges at the fold. I'm a big guy, and I slept on the extended portion of the bed quite a few times. The walls are partially studded with 2x2s, and while not insulated yet, some insulation is included to help finish the project. We also have a brand-new set of folding RV steps (24") that have not been installed that will be included. Hate to see it go, we will miss it, but we had to cancel the project due to family time constraints. We will do a project like this again someday, but our loss is your gain.
