Volkswagen's reliable and long lasting 2.0L engine is easy to work on and with this little car has plenty of power for a fun commute or road trip! Power windows & locks, FWD, Automatic There are some cosmetic imperfections to the body, esp the front bumper, but that just makes it easy to take to the city =) The trunk lock was drilled at some point before I owned the car but it opens fine from the electronic switch on the drivers door. It occasionally spits the ever popular VW P0411 code for airflow, but it passed inspection and runs great so I am sure its nothing but a vacuum leak somewhere. The interior is in good shape, with the only real complaint being the headliner coming down a little. The AC works great and I haven't had any problems with it. It has a 350 cubic inch 350 horsepower cammed V8, a GM Turbo 400 transmission with a shift kit, a 12 bolt diff off of a Chevelle 454, 1968 Corvette wheels, and of course a loud exhaust system thanks to its aftermarket headers and exhaust. It was painted with Plastidip very recently and looks fantastic. This truck is very fast. I have never drag raced it but it is set up to do so. It will light up the tires no problem from a stop. The under-body is pretty impressive. It is obvious that the truck spent most of its life out West, because the under-body is completely solid. It drives great and is a total laugh. It could easily be a daily driver, and has never ever given me a problem in the 7 months I have had it.
