1997 Dodge Ram 1500 V6 - 5 Speed Manual Trans. Engine is strong, frame is solid, body is decent with some normal rust but not as much as I expect for a 97. Tires are good.Has check engine light on (it comes on and off here and there,) needs alternator, driver side rubber brake hose, left hood hinge/spring. I think the drive shaft is slightly warped because it has a tiny bit of a "shimmy" when driving, but it is inspected and on the road and was in use until the alternator and brake line went at the same time last weekend. Its been a good "home depot/hauling/utility truck" but I don't want to keep paying the insurance to keep 3 vehicles on the road. I decided I don't have the time or patience to put more energy into the truck, I'm not using it enough to justify the effort. We had loaded it up with scrap metal right before the brake hose went, so it's still full of scrap metal but I'll unload it before it is removed from the property (of you can have the bed full of metal for $100 cash at the time of pickup)Does not start because it needs the alternator. You can either tow it away, or if you want to put in a new alternator and brake hose and drive it away that's up you to. I parked it in the grassy lot across the street from my house.
