1965 GMC first generation Handi-van with a six cylinder Automatic. This van was recently pulled from dry storage. I had a local shop get the van running and driving by pulling, cleaning and sealing the gas tank, new sending unit, replacing all the fluids and filters, bleeding the brakes, repaired throttle linkage and added new battery. I have driven the van around the block a few times and it gets a lot of attention. The head lights, tail lights, brake lights, speedometer, gas gauge, windshield wipers and radio all work! Even though I would suggest a good going over before driving very far, the engine leaks and smokes some. The windshield has a nickel size chip otherwise the glass is all good. The tires are a matched set with good tread, but they are old. The front driver side corner was damaged and not repaired very well (see photos), there is body filler in that area as well as the drivers rear corner and in the bottom of the passenger side cargo doors. The filler is not because of rust through, the only rust on the van is surface patina. There are a few additional parts that go with the van, an instrument panel. extra door handles (visible in photos). You can contact me directly with questions or to schedule an inspection of the van 541-554-5847. Payment: $500 deposit at close of the auction by Pay-Pal with balance due through bank wire / certified funds / cash within 10 days. Car will Not be released until funds have cleared! Thank you.

I will send you pictures upon request. The vehicle went over a curb didn't even make a dent or scratch on the body. However there clearance wasn't quite high enough to clear a rock which made a dent in the cradle that holds up the engine and tranny. Did not make the car any less safe or any weaker. That's it. But to repair it which would be crazy since it is no harm and would cost a lot is because you would obviously have to drop the engine and transmission transfer it over to another cradle and re-install. It did nothing to the suspension, frame, or anything else. I did replace the struts not because of accident but they were about due anyway. The cradle is no weaker. You would have to run over something and have it hit the same spot which is only about half foot long and even then it would be questionable as to weather or not it would make a difference as well as a million to one shot it would even come close to the same spot. I will gladly send you pictures. You can decide for yourself. A very nice, clean, good looking and driving SUV. It's a 5 cylinder Turbo, with a 5 speed automatic w/auto-manual control. It has excellent sound system, stereo controls on the steering wheel, cruise control, power windows & locks, a sun roof, rain sensitive speed wipers front and rear, heated seats for both driver and passenger (as well as power on both sides), leather interior, 3rd row seating, xenon headlamps, and a tow package. For the ultimate in convenience, Homelink allows you to open the garage door, turn on a light in the house, and unlock your front door (if you have a keyless entry pad). AND it has tinted windows that will keep you cooler in summer, and will be kinder to the leather interior.
