Selling my 98 Mustang 3.8L convertible. It has 91,000 original miles. Many upgrades and very well maintained but is having some transmission problems. Transmission light starts flashing once you are in 3rd gear. It is driveable, and as far as I can realize, I would not be able to tell the transmission is having any problems if it wasn't for the light coming on and flashing once you hit 3rd gear. (automatic trans) I am unsure as to exactly what the problem is but do not have the time to fix as I am moving.
Like I said the car is very well maintained, I am the third owner. I have every document from the original sale receipt of the vehicle in 1998 to tire rotations to every oil change.
Oil strictly changed every 3k miles.
Replaced headlights with smoked lights - have the original set along with new bulbs. awesome stereo system- Infinity speakers throughout, JVC head unit, also wired for sub in the trunk.
The convertible top was replaced two years ago! the original convertible boot is included like new
Two tires were replaced last year along with new tie rod in the front.
Brakes were redone in Sept 2014.

Other than the trans, stang is in great shape. Have all records from when first purchased car in 98 new, I am second owner, oil changed every 3k miles. Replaced top 2 years ago professionally from Tom's river upholstery shop. Interior is spotless (besides the original mats as can see in pictures) AMAZING stereo system, installed new infinite speakers all around along with new JVC receiver as well as is wired for sub in trunk. Also kept the original radio and tape player that came with the car if you want it back to stock. Put in a BBK intake 3 years ago, helps with fuel economy. Averages about 23 mpg. Mostly highway miles. Paint is in good shape besides front passenger bumper (previous driver scraped paint) and small Crack below headlight on driver side bumper. Has new headlights with black housings that look really sharp with the black housings. Two tires are bridgestones and other two just replaced last february. Still have good amount of tread on all. New brakes and rotors replaced in June. Cars a must see compared to others that are out there. Loved this car and hate to see it go just needs someone who has the time and skills to rebuild/replace trans.
