This is a "rust free" car that I bought 6 years ago. After it spent 6 months on a rotisserie, it became genuinely rust free. My intention was to prepare it for vintage racing. Toward that goal, I installed an eight point roll cage from 1.5 X .095 DOM tubing. It has a new MOMO FIA rated road race seat. The steering wheel is quick release. It has a floor shift from a Sonnet III. It has Tilton brake and clutch pedals. There is a manual brake bias adjuster next to the drivers seat. Chassis: Racing springs on all four corners. Koni adjustable shocks. The rear springs have adjustable spring perches, the front springs have screw type weight jacks. The front brakes are Saab 9000 rotors with Saab 900 GM calipers. The rear brakes are stock rebuilt. The wheels are Carroll Shelby Saab Minilite clones that were an accessory wheel on 99s and 900s. Under the hood: Completely rebuilt engine. It has a "Tom Donney" crankshaft. The pistons have been friction coated on the skirts and thermal coated on the crown. The combustion chambers were also coated. The block was ported to Saab Motorsports specs, so it is state of the art ca. 1966. The engine may have a half a hour on it. The exhaust system consists of an expansion chamber that was built from a pattern supplied by Nicklas Enender in Sweden. He is the XP Extreme Power Guru. It then has a six inch pipe attached. The transaxle is stock MC850. It has dual Tilton master cylinders for the brakes. The clutch hydraulics are stock rebuilt. There is an eight gallon ATL cell mounted in the trunk. The car is about 90% finished. There is some wiring that needs to be completed, some nuts and bolts to be tightened, and transmission linkage to be adjusted. I have never driven the car, but it runs great. It has a clear Kansas title and is licensed and insured. Going with the car is everything that I have with "Saab" on it. This includes a factory shop manual and a XP Extreme Power Tuning manual.

This is a car that I obtained from my son last year. Since that time, I have replaced the transaxle (good used), the power steering pump, most of the CIS-E components, and had the alternator rebuilt. The battery is also new. The exhaust system was replaced to include the $150 muffler at the back. It has a new gas tank. The car originally had leather seats, but the front ones were shot, so the were replaced with cloth ones in very good condition. The tires on the car are some worn Falken Azenis RT615Ks mounted on stock wheels. Included with this sale are four more Falkens of about 90% life mounted on BMW E30 "bottle cap" wheels. The cool stuff: It has European headlights. The engine has a European intake cam. It has the 50mm intake manifold. It also has a Techtonics Tuning down pipe. It really goes. It sits on sport lowered springs of unknown origin. It handles like a go-kart. The not so cool stuff: AS you can see from the photos, it needs to be painted. The Electro Hydraulic Actuator that sits on the side of the fuel distributor is weak Until the car reached full temperature it tends to stumble. The lower bushing on the steering column needs to be replaced. The AC does not blow cold. The OEM Fuba antenna is not working, so there is no radio. The dash has a lot of cracks in it and the headliner is none to good. I was planning to make a track car out of it, but our track closed so plans are changed. The car is a blast to drive, and while not perfect, I am not asking a perfect price.

Shoot me an offer! 1986 K5 - 305 with half a 700r4 tranny. Lost 3rd and 4th last week. I hate selling this thing! Anyway, I have a 1986 K5 Blazer I need to put up for sale. My wife is going back to school, and I just don't have the extra cash right now to deal with a transmission issue. I bought this in August of 2013. The previous owner had replaced the alternator, starter, hubs and lockers, front pads and rotors, rear shoes, all four shocks, and put in some leather seats in the front. I have maybe put 700 miles on it since then. After buying it, I replaced all the weather stripping (no cabin leaks), replaced the fuel sending unit, put new window motors in all three windows, installed a manual choke to help with the subzero mornings, headers, new valve covers, all U joints, wheel bearings, new power steering pump and gear box, flushed the radiator, and removed and patched the rust on the passenger floorboard. The only remaining body rust I am aware of is a very small amount on the driver's side floor board. I have the sheet metal to repair it I'll throw in. She does have a few bumps and bruises, but it was the cleanest truck for sale in a 250 mile radius when I picked it up.
