I'm selling my Mustang, to get something a little roomier. It's not the easiest vehicle to transport kids, lol. I bought it a little over 2 years ago, when she only had 17,000 miles. All the miles I put on it, have been almost entirely highway miles. I commute roughly 50 miles a day for work, and some travel to south Louisiana for family and friends. I take very good care of her, inside and out. I tossed on a K&N intake and a set of SLP Loudmouth axle-backs on for some V8 rumble, and I've only ran Royal Purple oil in her (up until this last oil change, which I ran Mobil 1 Synthetic). I ran it over to the local Ford Dealer for a tune up and inspection, and she runs perfectly. No hard idle and never had a warning light come on. As for the interior, that's where most of the upgrades to this car are located. I have installed 120 sq. ft. of Rattle Trap sound dampener throughout the car (to keep road noise out and acoustics in). I personally installed the 4-way active audio system that will remain in the car (think Bose, but way better). I installed Focal tweeters in the pillars, 6 3/4" Focal mid-range speakers in the doors, 8" Rockford Fosgate mid-bass speakers in the doors, a 12" Image Dynamics IDMax subwoofer in a custom enclosure (so that you have bass without taking up the whole trunk), 2 Powerbass amps under the seats (totaling 1040 watts rms) running the speakers, a Nakamichi 1400.1 subwoofer amp in the trunk, all tied together by a JBL MS-8 dolby digital sound processor. The head unit is an Alpine CDA-X105S digital media receiver, and I use my iPod and thumb drives for all of my music. I've lost count of the praises I have gotten since I allow people to listen to the audio system. I'll attach a video in this description, so you can see and hear it. Off of the audio tangent, I just put brand new tires on her (not even 600 miles on them yet). I just took out the K&N filter and recharged (cleaned & re-oiled) it. I ordered a new shift knob, which will be here in a few days, since the factory one has a little wear on it. I grabbed a black brushed aluminum shifter (with the Ford stripes) from AmericanMuscle. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me with them. Thanks for checking her out. Car Tour: I'm having trouble posting the URL to my video, so if you want to see it, hop on YouTube and search for "2006 Mustang GT Active Audio System". As far as I know, I'm the only one with a video with that specific search. Thanks again!
