This truck came up from Florida 3 years ago, where it was used to bring cattle to market with a goose neck trailer. It still retains the trailer ball in the shortbed, as well as a reese hitch. What sold me on this truck was the fact that it was rust-free. I have 6 years and 30k miles on my current 12-valve. The truck was driven up here with a transmission problem a weak 1st to 2nd band in the tranny, you need to let off the throttle in 1st so it shifts into second. The other gears are fine and it pulls hard, but it's super-irritating if you are in a hurry, so the tranny needs to be rebuilt. I used the truck as-it-is in 2014, and towards the end of the season I changed the tranny fluid and adjusted the bands. It may be a little better but not much. My plan was to convert it to 5-speed this summer and now that's not going to happen, so as I continue to drive my 12-valve, I've decided to put this truck on the market. The previous owner was a smoker and he did burn a couple holes in the seat. The trim piece around the dash popped off, the paint does have some wear spots in it on fender and door tops here and there, the truck is not perfect, but being rust-free, it has a lot to offer. The 24 valve is clean and completely stock with easy starting and great pickup. All the doors operate as they should. The tailgate is dented. I looked a long time for a decent truck -everything I seemed to find at the price I'm asking had higher miles and typical Dodge rot, but when I found a truck with no rust, I couldn't touch it. I am Selling a 2005 G35X AWD Sedan, Pearl white in color with tan leather interior.It has 103,000 miles and was purchased in the fall of 2013 from a local dealership. It had around 90K miles when purchased. It was used slightly and was taken off the road this past summer as the vehicle was placed for sale. It is a great riding car and is all wheel drive so it was great in the snow and ice here in New England. The vehicle was placed for sale because of financial reasons, including a return to school. It has a very clean interior and exterior. It has normal wear and tear for the age of the car, including scratches on the bumpers and tiny dings here and there, but they would have to be searched for as you would not see them unless pointed out.There is one small dent about an inch long and a touch-up of matching paint color near the drivers side rear wheel well.It can be viewed in the last picture shown. The car is very shiny and sharp looking, and has all the bells and whistles that came with that year vehicle. Power moon Roof, heated leather seats, back and front, lots of features. It has a brand new custom muffler, a complete detail inside and out, front end alignment. It also has 4 brand new Infiniti floor mats that were just purchased. The vehicle was once smoked in but we have not smelled any residue , especially after it was detailed. Up for sale is a very nice turn key 1966 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport. Based on the research I have done this is a true V-8 S.S. car... but as far as I can tell there is no way of knowing what size V-8 or transmission this car was born with. I am by NO means an expert at decoding the trim tag however... I can send pictures of the trim tag/vin tag if you contact me. The motor is a 396 (based on the #'s on the back of the block) but is the original engine or size V-8 is anyone's guess... The car is very solid and appears to have has extensive work done to it over the years by a previous owner(s). There is no rust or rot. The floors, trunk and body are in very nice condition and are very straight. It has very nice bright red paint that shines like it was just painted (but wasn't) and there are no major flaws that I could find. The chrome on the bumpers is decent but not perfect. It drives and runs very well and rolls on 14" white letter radial tires. The interior is in very good condition, but the rear seat does have one tear on the top of it (about 2 or 3 inches long and probably could be repaired, see photos). Also above the radio there was apparently something screwed to the top of the dash and pushed the vinyl down a bit (I believe it was a clock, which is no longer there). The dash contains a functional factory tachometer, (I assume someone added this because the car doesn't have the other gauges that would go on top of the console). There is a Pioneer CD player with speakers in the rear deck. Under the dash is a set of Auto Meter mechanical water temp, oil pressure and volt gauges. Everything works as it should including the heat, wipers, speedometer, fuel gauge, dome lights etc. The console is in good condition and all the SS badges are intact as well. The carpet is nice and other than a few minor touch up type things that a new owner (if you are anything like me) would love to do to "bond" with his new toy. Again it is very presentable as it is... The motor runs fine and has an Edlebrock intake and carb (with electric choke) and an HEI (a very reliable and simple combo) and oem exhaust manifolds (as far as any internal specs we are unsure but it idles like it is basically stock). The car more than "gets out of it's own way..." The Muncie 4 speed (not sure which one, feels like a wide ratio unit) has had a recent freshening and has a new clutch/flywheel. The motor sounds like a big block should with a true dual exhaust with Dynomax turbo mufflers but is not overly loud. We added a CPP power steering kit (about $500) to make it more enjoyable to drive. The brakes are the oem manual drums and stop fine. The front end and suspension are tight with recent tie-rods shocks etc.. The motor compartment is in good shape and is more than presentable as it sits but (as I stated above) it could stand some "bonding time" (touch up work if you are real picky, like me) but I have seen plenty of cars that are MUCH WORSE than this car pull in at a cruise night and then see the proud owner stand next to it with a big smile on his face... There are no plates of "spaghetti" (wiring messes) under the hood either. The undercarage is clean but the motor could use new paint on the oil pan. Many of the things I have pointed out MOST people would never notice. The owner gets compliments everywhere he goes with it. Overall there are no major or even minor leaks that I am aware of. It does not leave any puddles on the garage floor. This is a completely presentable driver/cruise night car that most people would be more than proud to own. But you have to remember this car is 48 years old... If I didn't have my Camaro...(If you are curious about me -click this: ) I would buy it. It is (IMHO) a real fun car to drive. It does everything it is supposed to do and you can simply register/insure it and go have fun! And unless you are the octomom or that Kate on TV with 8 kids the whole family can ride along as well! Is it a 100 point show car/Barrett Jackson car? I would say no but it isn't that kind of money either. I know plenty of people who have spent WAY more than this for something nowhere near this nice.
