This is a 1966 Ford Thunderbird Project Car. It ran when parked a year ago. We put a battery to the car and it turns over, not seized! It has the numbers matching 390 motor and automatic trans. This car comes with a FL title. Someone installed a New Holley Carb,Holley mechanical full pump and a mini high torque starter. The oil pan does have a small crack but have NEW one in trunk to go with the car! The glass is all good with no cracks. The car otherwise is all original and un-touched. It even comes with some parts in the trunk(see pics). The body appear to be nice and straight for its age! It does have the typical rust on the quarters and rockers(see pics). The floors and trunk pan appear to be solid. The interior is mostly all there and you can tell someone took good care of the car back then. I'm selling a 1974 Right Side Drive International Scout II. I have had this Scout for almost 4 years. I have a love for older cars. I have owned a few different ones already in my life but, I have always wanted a Scout ! This one smacked me in the head, I bought it, and it did not disappoint !! She's unique with her RT side drive, VERY little rust, numbers matching, fun to drive, not a V-8, just a little car. She is RARE ! International Harvester didn't make rt side drives out of the assembly line unless you order it. No one knows how many were made each year because the records are "lost". Most say it was less than 100 each year. I was hoping to keep her forever but health issues have kept me at the doctors and not on the road having fun. I don't drive her as much as I would like and it's a shame to see her sit in the garage covered up. This is what I know is good and what she still "needs". For an everyday driver she is good to go she doesn't need a thing. If you want keep toying with her there are improvements that can be made. Year- 1974 Make- International Harvester Model- Scout II Body Style- MP Engine- 258 Straight 6 Since I have owned her this is what I have done. . . Got her a back seat Re-did the upholstery with Marine Grade Vinyl (Front and Back Seats) New Tires (have about 300 miles on them) Converted it to Power Steering ! That was tough, just to find a custom shop that could do it !! Installed Marine Grade Radio and Marine Grade speakers, Now she has sound !! New Custom made Carburetor New. . . Radiator (and all hoses), Brakes, Plugs, Wires, Distributor cap, Coil, Alternator, Starter, Seals (all of them !), Fuel Pump, U-bolts, Belts (all of them !), Gear oil, p/s fluid, Steering Coupler, Deferential Oil, Spring Pads, Brake Springs, Exhaust gasket, Valve cover gasket, Thermostat, Differential gasket, PCV valve, Ignition coil, Vacuum hoses, Transmission filter (all new fluid), Clamps. . . everywhere, Tailgate cables, Oil pan, Rotors, Battery, Probably more but that's all I can think of. . . Now the "bad parts".. she doesn't have a top (you get a soft top made), no heat (Can get a new heater ), gas and speed gauges work but bounce, windshield wipers don't work, no arm rests, Doors open from the outside, The stuff that's left I thought was little stuff and I just didn't do it. . . The only thing I have wanted to do and haven't done yet is put in an Electric Choke. It's not a big deal to wait a few for the old girl to warm up. . . : ) There are a few stickers on it. I got it that way and didn't want to paint it yet. . . I got few more stickers and some vinyl decals to add some fun. Most come off with no problem. . . She drives GREAT !! I tried to list as many options as possible above but there is absolutely no way I can possibly list every option this car has. I have owned it since 2000. I bought it completely stock, and spent the past 14 years building this monster. It literally has the biggest and best of every part available. And what parts were not available...I built myself. The car is amazing. Sounds like a NASCAR driving down the highway! So insanely fast that it feels like I am driving it on ICE. The blower has been converted to a cog driven belt system to prevent belt slippage at high boost. I have only driven the car a few times since it was put together. I have no idea on how fast it can go or how much HP it has. The guys at ATI are guessing that it is well into the 1000HP range! The short block was built by Shafiroff Racing and cost me over $9,000 just for the assembled block. It has a FAST XFI computer system controlling everything. Can be tuned right from inside the car with a laptop. I have the program CD needed to program the ECU. The tires are like brand new. 275/30/18 in the front and 315/30/18 in the rear. Mounted on Billet Specialties wheels. Has Wilwood 6 piston brakes front and rear and a Wilwood Master Cylinder under the hood. Currie 9+ Rear End housing with 3.89 gears. The rear end is designed by Currie for truck applications! I had them build this one for me to guarantee that I would not break it. Full roll cage. Runs around the entire inside of the car...even through and behind the dash. I even had the cage run all around the fuel cell in th eevent of a rollover to keep it from being crushed. Has an Alpine CD player with a Rockford Fosgate AMP and all new speakers. Custom kick plates under the dash that hold speakers and small tweeters as well. The intake is from TPIS. Had it ported to match the AFR 210 Comp Heads and also had the intake drilled and tapped for 2 stages of NOS. Arizona speed and marine built the massive fuel rails and mono blade throttle body. Converted the headlight to HID for better night driving. Has a custom fiberglass full body kit and a custom fiberglass rear ZR1 tail light assembly. Has a true dual exhaust system made for it that sounds amazing. Installed Lambo Doors. A fiberglass ram air hood. Put in dual electric fans to cool the beast along with a NASCAR radiator I picked up at a race auction. It is huge. Installed racing bucket seats up front and had a matching custom set of rear bucket seats made for the rear so the kids can come driving with me. 5 way harnesses in the front and rear. Took off the heavy glass rear hatch and put on a fiberglass notch back hatch with a carbon fiber rear wing. The tranny started out as a stock T-56 that i then sent out to D&D transmission and had them do every possible upgrade available to it including powdercoating it silver. It is made for road racing so you can shift it without even using a clutch!. Installed a Mcleod twin disc clutch and a tilton master cylinder. The tranny cost me almost $10,000 including the clutch and the SFI bellhousing. Installed an AJE K member that I had modified to support road racing abuse along with aftermarket front upper and lower control arms. Every fuel line and brake line on the car is steel braided with AN fittings. Like I said...this car is a rocketship. I have no time to enjoy it. Have close to $100,000 invested in the project. The timing chain and water pump were replaced by the previous owner at around 80k miles and I just replaced the driver side door lock actuator a couple of weeks ago.
