This 1985 Toyota Land Cruiser just had a FRAME OFF restoration. Almost everything below the chassis was recently (2 months ago) replaced and dipped in gloss black undercarriage paint. The frame itself was sandblasted and covered with the same rust-proof paint and is better than showroom condition. You will not find any rust. May I please repeat that, you will not find any rust, holes, dents or problems. The engine and transmission were not touched, they both work perfectly; smoothly and powerfully. The catalytic converter was removed, a new exhaust system, brake system, gas tank and just about everything else was installed. The cruiser has a manual choke (which is nifty) and Warner lock-out hubs. The body was painted about 3 years ago (silver) and striping and accents added. My cruiser was originally sold in Albuquerqe, New Mexico, where I purchased it 10 years ago. It's been garaged ever since and treated with TLC. I've never had it off-road. The original window-sticker, owner's manual and tool kit are included, as well as many service records. The air-conditioner blows cold enough to hang meat, the AM-FM radio works perfectly, there are no other electronics on the car. There are 4 Yokahama "Geolander" tires with very little wear. They'll take you through any kind of snow or cruise at 75 mph with no noise nor vibration. The wheels are chrome steel with shiny nuts. There is a tach and all the usual gauges, everything works. I added my own little clock. The front crash-bar has been powder-coated, there are two off-road/fog lights added below the grill. Having bought used cars before, I dislike discovering defects upon inspection that the owner never mentioned. So here's a list of every problem I can think of: The rear window washer is not connected (the wiper works fine). The side of the driver's seat has a small cut on the side that's bandaged with tape. The key sticks when you try to lock the rear gate. I see quite a few Land Cruisers on e-bay that are cheaper, but I don't think you'll find a vintage FJ60 any better. Quite a bit was spent on the restoration. I invite you to give me a call at 203-426-2524 after 1:00 P.M. (eastern time) to ask any questions you might have (my name is Dave). I am the second owner and I have had this Jeep for almost two years. It's a reliable vehicle and runs well, only selling because i have bought a truck and i don't need both vehicles. PROS: Replacement Jeep Motor installed at 192000 miles, at that time the following parts were replaced: Water pump, water pump inlet tube, radiator, crank sensor, PCV valve, intake manifold and injector O-Rings and all related gaskets and grommets and Transmission service with filter. Many other related parts are new in the last year such as: Alternator, Starter, Upper and Lower control arms and bushings, front differential service, steering dampener, multi-functional signal switch, fog lamp wire harness. 5 New 31 10.5/15 Cooper AT3 Tires and New front Brakes as of 6/17/14. It has a Manik Brush Guard Its Dark green with Tan interior, Tan hard top and tan soft top. Put the soft top on a this summer for the first time since I owned it and its all there and was water tight after all that rain we had, but the top is showing its age some seems over the passenger side door have separated, soft top windows are a bit hazy. CONS: Has minor scuffs and A small dent on right rear that was on the vehicle when i bought it. Original hood was dented (comes with Jeep if you want it) Used replacement hood purchased is not same shade of green Passenger Mirror cracked. Scratches at drivers door. Console lock is broken. Minor surface rust on left fender. Interior shows normal wear for a 200,000 mile vehicle - could use a professional shampooing. 95 Wrangler YJ SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY PLEASE-I WAS SCAMMED BEFORE WITH SELLING MY JEEP AND I WILL NOT HAVE IT HAPPEN AGAIN. I also have this vehicle for sale locally and have the right to end the auction early if need be. It was lots of fun to build and drive for the last couple years but I just bought a new car and can't keep the jeep (so sad). I put a lot of work into this jeep from the inside-out. Clean title in hand. 146,100 miles on the wrangler. Runs and drives great. She was my daily driver up until 2 weeks ago when I bought a new car. The engine is a 2.5L 4CYL with 146000 on engine and body. She is strong and will last another 100k miles on the road. She is 5 speed manual transmission. Also can go into 4 wheel drive if needed. There is a little tare in the dash above the passenger seat but I was able to get some thread and stitch it up nice (I didn't want to use glue). Also, the heat does not work, the cable behind the dash has come out of place and I haven't been able to get the time to connect it back together (summer is right around the corner...do even need heat with the top down!!).
