I am the original owner and have driven and maintained this truck for 8 years. I am not a dealer or a flipper! Car has been well-maintained and includes service and maintenance records. Truck was used as a daily driver and occasional utility vehicle, and shows wear appropriate for its age. However it is in great shape as you can see from the photos. Paint shines well, looks good from 5 feet. We live on a gravel drive and after years of mostly highway driving the car does have some road rash and rock chips. This truck is dead reliable and has never left me stranded in all 8 years of ownership. The transmission shifts smooth with no noise. The engine has no noises or issues that I know of. Regular oil changes were done by me or a local garage on the normal schedule. No ez-lube drive-through oil or filter changes with this car. No accidents, no fender benders, clean history. This car is a 5-speed, so if you like to row your own gears--and even better--control how much mileage you get, you'll love this truck. It is GREAT ON GAS! All the utility of a pickup with the gas mileage of my VW Golf. Seriously, this gets 29-30 MPG for me on the highway all day long. Your mileage may vary. It does include cruise control for highway driving and the desirable sliding rear window. Air Conditioning still blows COLD and the heater is awesome. More details on the car below: Exterior Some normal wear after 8 years as noted. Chips in the front plastic painted bumper, road rash by the rear wheels. One chip in the windshield filled by Safelite. Drop-in bed liner includes tie-downs which have come in handy and the truck has bed rail caps in perfect shape. Paint had a recent buffing and waxing and shines well. Hood has some clear coat cracks from age and a dent in the front edge. Steel wheels are very clean and look great. Paint the hood and front bumper for $500 and you'll have a very sharp ride. I never bothered as the truck always get compliments on how good it looks. Interior Love this interior for its durability and considerations for use as work vehicle. All controls work well with gloved hands! And it looks like it was meant to work, not be a couch on wheels. Lots of drink storage in center console (includes a removable insert for BIG cups-awesome) and in door pockets. TWO glove boxes! Mats show age, but I didn't get rubber mats so you could pick your favorite brand. I recommend that upgrade. Controls look brand new, no age or worn letters/markings. Seats are very clean, no rips, tears, or real wear to speak of. Has a trick folding passenger seat (see photos) that can be used as a work surface for laptops or similar use Interior looks 2 years old, not 8 years! Mechanical 100,000 mile service has already been performed, with timing belt, plugs, filter, etc. all taken care of. Engine sounds good, no noise. No transmission noise or shifting issues No oil leaks Brakes will need pads in the near future, but the rotors look good. Tires are OK. Mechanically the car has been very reliable and never had a serious issue for us. Arrangements can be made to see the car and an inspection by a mechanic is fine as well. Will ship the car but finding a shipper and making arrangement is the responsibility of the buyer. $1,000 deposit due immediately, remainder to be paid via cashier's check(s).
