Extremely clean 1987 Chevy 3500 dually flat bed that was a firetruck. Always stored inside, no rust. I bought this at a auction without any bed and bought a Military 2 1/2 from a local fire department that put a water tank on their truck. I have around 2500.00 in the bed alone. This truck was a rescue brush truck that was used by a small Iowa town until retired. It had a cabinet body on it that was re used on the new replacement truck. This truck has 7 new tires, with 2000 miles, has been tuned up and runs and drives excellent. It stays in my shop and I have gone to swap meets buying and selling used parts for old cars. I was going to use it for a parts hauler, but many times I have to get off road in old junk yards and I can't bring myself to scratch and ding this truck up. The interior is clean but has mounting holes in dash and floor where fire dept. radios and such were installed. Pictures tell the story. It does have scratches and small dings from use, but is nice. This is a truck that I originally bought for my daughter as her first car. She is 12 and this was going to be a fixer upper project for us. She saw a Suburban and wanted one of those instead. I just happened to know where one was for sale. Now this is for sale. This is a clean, with little rust, southern truck. Still has the ORIGINAL spiral shocks all the way around! Nice original undercarriage. It has a newer 6 cyl. and a 4 speed, but is stuck from sitting for about 9 years in a machine shed. I did soak the cylinders with WD40 to begin the process of freeing up the motor. It is a complete truck with excellent patina and a good interior. Nice 8 inch 4WD wheels with new caps and lug nuts. This was on hold to be restored, but have too many cars. This rare big block cars is ready for restoration. Ran 8 years ago until mice ate some spark plug wires and a few compartment wires.. Turns over but it is not getting spark to fire up. This is a good restoration project and is mostly complete. I have had this for a while and never got around to working on it. It had the front cap taken off by previous owner. I bolted the pieces back on and put it into storage. It is just how I got it. Now I can use the room for other things. It has a clear title and is a V8 manual coded car. It does have rust but should be a good project. It does not run. Has a late 50's V8 with 3 speed over drive. Outside has some bondo work and floors have been patched. Underside floor pan needs a few braces replaced. Frame appears clean. The car has all of the convertible parts and the top frame is good. Has factory tach, power top, and radio delete. This is a rare 1955 Chevy Wayne body ambulance. It looks like a short bus, until you see it has extra factory side doors. If anyone has any information on this, please email me. I cannot find anything on ambulances, just buses. Very low miles. Fresh from storage and was been driven only a few times in the past many years by previous owner. Currently runs and drives well, and has been driven 100 miles in the past few weeks. Last month I had 2 new front tires and the 4 rears were on a trade in truck from a dealership and had only 4000 miles on them. The tires were over 1,000.00. The bus has older repaint but has awesome character. Conversion van interior was added at some time with swivel seats in the 2nd row. The 3rd row seat folds down into a bed. It has the original 265 V8 and a 4 speed manual transmission. It has a spoiler on the rear roof and wheelie bars under the rear bumper for that hot rod look. The ambulance will need some tinkering as it has been in storage for almost 10 years. Will make a easy project. Body is excellent for it's age and has very, very little rust. Paint is OK, has shine and patina from age. Some of the lights are not functioning and should just need bulbs? It does have dual gas tanks. It has original brakes and they work as they should. This will make a great rat rod, car show, swap meet, cruise in bus, or even a great camper. It has a descent stereo with EQ, and has rear speaker cables long enough to put outside for parties or tailgating. It has a awning that attaches to the side and has poles and stakes. There are 2 vintage dated emergency flares still in the holders. The mechanical parts on this truck look to be correct Chevy original. It has flames on the front cap, and Disney characters on the sides and Mickey and Mini mouse on the rear doors. It looks to have been used as a D.A.R.E vehicle to take to schools at one time, as it has the DARE on the rear. This gets a lot of attention when I drive it around.
