I am the original owner of this vehicle, and have put almost all of it's 71,000 miles on it. It was ordered in November of 1991,and is equipped with every available option at the time. It was used primarily on the weekends, and on average I drove it about 4000 miles a year up to mid 2009.That is when my Dad passed and left me with his '02 F-150 Supercab. The truck has been sitting in a garage for the past 5 years, however I would start it and drive it around the neighborhood every month or so. I was undecided if I wanted to keep the truck, then I was involved in a boating accident in June 2013. The truck sat unattended for nearly a year. After the accident I decided to liquidate many assets. I kept this truck as the last thing to go, just to be sure it is what I wanted to do. During that time the fuel degraded and condensation rusted both fuel tanks and damaged both pumps. I replaced both tanks with new tanks from Summit Racing, and installed reman. pumps as well and a new Motorcraft fuel filter. The truck has always been maintained with Motorcraft (factory) parts at all recommended intervals. The Michelin tires are at 75% (9/32"). The truck runs and drives as good as the day I bought it. The interior is in near perfect condition, as you can see in the pics. The paint is in decent shape for a 22 year old truck, with the exception of the paint over the right wheel well (see pic). I have no idea what caused the paint to do that, back then the paint was not clear-coated. Due to my forgetfulness I damaged the rear bumper and bed under the right rear taillight with a utility trailer that I jack-knifed. Also credited to my forgetfulness I left the camper shell glass up, and I started to back into my garage causing the frame on the right side to move out of place (see pic). It does not affect how the glass opens/closes and it latches properly. This truck will pass any state safety and or emission inspection. The original audio unit has been upgraded to a Pioneer CD unit. The only thing this truck needs is the cosmetic repairs as I mentioned, and for someone to care for, and enjoy it as I have.
