Colors are quite striking and unique. Matching numbers. Automatic Transmission, Air Conditioning (blows but not cold, only needs re-charging). Has hard top. Original fenders with all welds showing clearly, no rust is apparent on this body or underneath. Recently went though a nice cosmetic restoration with new paint, seats, top, wood and dash. Car was painted and underside is as original with no rust through at all. This car is mechanically sound and runs great and looks very nice. It is ready to put the top down and drive to the country club or your local car show. I looked for quite a while for a car without rust and found this one. I really don't want to sell it as it turned out so great but I must due to other circumstances. This will make someone a fine car. What this is is a very solid 47 year old Mercedes Benz 250 SL. It is a car that you can drive today and be proud of. It is not a concourse car but is very nice to look at and gets a lot of attention. I purchased it with full intention of doing a cosmetic restoration and keeping it in my garage for many years. Something has come up that I would be better of selling the car. I am not desperate. 250SL's are the rarest of all of the Pagoda cars. So while the 280's have skyrocketed in value over the last two years there is a lot of upside to the 250's. Some would say that this is the most valuable of all of the 60's Pagodas, it is certainly the rarest. I am willing to sell the car for what I have in it. Which is a very reasonable price for a very solid car. I realize that there are probably cheaper cars out there but buyer be ware. Repairs and restorations of these cars is very expensive, especially if it has the typical rust issues. So getting one at this price that is ready to drive is a real bargain.

Accident free, galvanized 1976 body/chassis with 1984 3.2 liter DME Fuel Injected engine from 1984 Carrera with 915 5-speed Transmission from 1984 Carrera. Restoration completed about 4 years ago. No mechanical issues. 3.2 liter engine has performance chip, consistent compression on all cylinders, no smoke. Transmission was rebuilt about 8K miles ago. Engine cosmetics include amber engine surrounds, powder coated cooling fan, intake manifolds and valve covers. 915 Transmission includes 8.32 ratio gears, wevo short shift, new clutch, release bearing, clutch cable and rebuilt pedal assembly. Right front mounted OEM oil cooler, custom dual exhaust. 911 R mods. to body include steel OEM rear flares, fiberglass front and rear bumpers, hood, engine decklid and front fenders. H4 headlights, Durante Mirror, 911R turn signals and corner lights, Hella tail lights and Cibie reproduction rally lights, 911R mesh deck grill, through the hood center fuel fill tube, battery in Smuggler box. Interior has lowered seat mounts, Sparco Milano Prestige full leather seats with custom alloy hinge plates and rake adjusters, rear seat delete, radio delete, partial light weight carpet, Roll bar, Rennline floor boards, Momo Prototipo Steering Wheel. Suspension upgrades include Fuchs 7X15 and 8X15 painted forged alloys, G-Force 205/50 15 and 225/50 15 Tires, 964 4 piston brembo calipers with Carrera vented rotors (cross drilled fronts), stainless steel brake lines, new wheel bearings, studs and lug nuts, rebuilt CVC joints, Weltmeister 19MM front sway bar, 22 mm rear, front strut brace, bilstein shocks. Weight of car is 2,250 lbs. Fast car, excellent handling with great balance.
