Mated to the very strong 6 speed Allison transmission it makes for the ultimate drivetrain. Mechanically this truck is in excellent shape. The motor starts and runs like new with no leaks. It has never been chipped or modified and it has been maintained to a very high standard. The transmission shifts perfectly. The brakes are very strong. The suspension is tight and it drives down the road very well. I cannot fault it. It has not been used for towing, it does not even have a trailer brake controller. The front tires are good and the rears have perhaps 8000 miles left on them. It gets great fuel mileage. The body is in excellent shape for its age. There is no rust, the rockers and tailgate are near perfect. There is obviously some minor paint defects as with any used vehicle but nothing noticeable. It has never had any accidents or body repairs. There are no significant dents or scratches. The front bumper is slightly bent as can be seen in the photos. There is a plastic bed liner fitted. Overall an exceptionally clean truck that presents very well. The interior is in nice condition. Everything works as it should. The drivers seat has the usual wear on the edge but this can easily and cheaply be repaired by any upholstery shop if it bothers you. 1968 Ford Galaxie 500 Fastback, 390 V8 Automatic. Beautiful original car. My personal vehicle which I bought from the original owner whom bought it new from Dunton Ford in Santa Ana, California. Will deliver for free to the lower 48 States for the Buy It Now Price. This is a one of a kind classic car. It is not a restored show car but it is in excellent condition. It can be driven daily and is quite capable of cruising across the country at high speeds. A very reliable car due to being maintained regardless of cost. I have mostly used it for driving between my home in California and my second home in Canada. I just drove it from Santa Barbara, California 2200 miles to Canada last weekend. It barely had a break the whole trip completing it in 36 hours. Cruising at 80 mph the majority of the journey it returned 18 mpg and it never missed a beat. I have made the trip several times in this car and it has always been perfectly reliable, I would trust it to drive me anywhere. That's how reliable and usable this 47 year old classic is. As mentioned above, I purchased this car from the original owner. He had driven it for about 10 years and then placed it in dry storage up until I bought it which is why it is so well preserved. I have all of the original documentation and handbooks in excellent condition. The paint is original, the interior is original and it is all in excellent time warp condition just showing minimal wear. The condition is best described as if this was a well cared for used 68 Galaxie Fastback that you were buying in the late 70's when it was around 10 years old. That's the kind of condition it is in. I have maintained this car meticulously. When I bought it I had all new brakes fitted including rotors, pads, drums, linings, brake lines, brake hoses, brake booster and master cylinder. It is a factory power disc brake car so it stops very well. I replaced the rear suspension arms and bushings with high quality ones which can be greased. I also recently had the carburetor fully rebuilt so it starts and runs perfectly hot or cold. And the transmission had a new modulator fitted earlier this year because it had started to leak slightly. The factory AC works very well and I had it serviced and re-filled with R12 Freon this past summer. Everything works on this car exactly how it did in 1968. The 390 V8 is original to the car and in excellent condition. It is very smooth and runs beautifully with huge torque. It embarrasses many modern cars on long steep mountain grades, it just doesn't slow down no matter how steep the hill. The transmission shifts perfectly and the 9 inch rear end is quiet with no leaks. The only thing that isn't stock on this Galaxie is a very expensive custom hidden audio system I had fitted with Ipod connection. This cannot be seen as I did not want to ruin the time warp interior but it is very convenient with good sound quality. Also it has a high quality stainless steel exhaust system. Otherwise this car is exactly as it left the factory. These cars have beautifully clean styling and are a 1 year only bodystyle. Probably one of the purest looking classic American cars in Fastback form. This is a beautiful classic American car that gets a lot of attention and looks. This is not some restored show car, it is a beautifully preserved and original 2 owner car that still gets driven everywhere at high speeds just like it would have done in 1968. This Galaxie is rust free throughout. The frame and floors are as good as new. A pleasure to own and drive, the most satisfying car I have ever owned. It will be missed if sold but sadly personal circumstances are making it not look like a viable option to be able to keep it so make me a respectful offer. 1965 Chevrolet short box fleetside, fitted on a Buick Roadmaster frame with a LT1 V8 and automatic transmission. The truck was built 18 months ago by a hotrod builder and has been a daily driver since. The 1965 body was fitted to a 1996 Roadmaster wagon frame with tow package. It retains all the stock running gear with power steering, power disk brakes, independent front suspension, posi rear axle (2.9 ratio) Lt1 and overdrive automatic transmission. The truck has the wiring from the Roadmaster and retains the factory fuel injection. The Roadmaster steering column has been used and the original cruise control works great. I use this truck every day for work and pleasure. It drives, stops and steers great. The body is in beautiful shape, it isn't rusty but the paint has been applied to look old. The fenders where new when built. The truck had to go through a safety inspection in order to be insured, so no problems with the truck. The interior is in decent shape with a later seat and seatbelts fitted. Everything works as it should (gauges, light, wipers, etc) It will start good in any weather. 2002 Ford F250 XLT 4x4 Crew Cab 7.3 V8 Powerstroke Diesel, in very good condition. No rust, runs and drives excellent. This is the final model year of the much sought after and highly regarded 7.3 Powerstroke diesel motor. This is an excellent well maintained example with the added bonus of a crew cab and 4x4. We have owned this truck for quite a while and it has been used to tow our car hauler trailer. It has performed excellently during our ownership with no reliability issues and we have maintained it to a high standard but it has now been replaced with a classic diesel truck that we have built for our business. The body is in very good condition with no rust. There are stone chips in places most noticeably along the lower areas of the doors. There are no major dents or scratches and it looks much newer than it is due to its overall good clean appearance. It has heavy duty spray on bed liner. Sun visor, bug deflector and wind deflectors. The windows are tinted. The aluminum rims are in good condition with excellent top quality all terrain tires which were new earlier this year. Overall a very good looking and solid truck. The 7.3 Powerstroke diesel starts and runs without fault as you would expect from one of these. We have carried out regular oil changes during our ownership. It pulls very well with plenty of power. The transmission shifts perfectly and is very smooth. The differentials are quiet. We recently replaced all drive shaft universal joints. We also replaced the drive shaft carrier bearing and the passengers side front wheel bearing. The 4x4 works perfectly in high and low range. There are no major mechanical issues with this truck at all and I would confidently drive it anywhere. It recently just completed 2 trips to Wisconsin and a trip to Texas without any issues. The only things that may need looking at in the future are a very slight coolant leak from the water pump, but this is so minor you barely notice it and rarely need to top it up. And a slight pull to the right under very heavy braking. Overall this Powerstoke F250 is in excellent mechanical shape. The interior is in very good condition. Everything works perfectly such as the power windows, power locks, AC, cruise, CD player and power seats. The upholstery is not worn and the seats have no rips. It could do with a vacuum and quick clean which I will try to do before the auction ends. Overall though it is in excellent condition with nothing broken or missing and everything works exactly how it should. Overall this is a very good example of the final year of the 7.3 Powerstroke diesel. It is a nice clean and solid honest truck that should continue to be very reliable for many years to come. 1960 Chevrolet Kingswood 9 Passenger Station Wagon Factory Original Big Block 348 V8 Automatic Classic! California original black plates! (Currently Now Running a period correct 1960 283 V8). You`re looking at a rare California built 1960 Chevrolet Kingswood 9 Passenger Station Wagon ordered as a 348 Big Block Kingswood complete with original 348 correct emblems. Not many were equipped this way which makes this a great candidate for a nice classic restoration, or just enjoy as a neat Patina '60 Wagon Rat Rod now. The car is a true California car and has spent most its entire life there. The car overall is a very solid car as hard to find wagons go, but does have some areas we will state for the record, to be as clear as possible in a fair overall description. A true Patina Paint car now after a 7 year storage in and outside. Main Body: The rust-outs are minimal and are some easy fixes as far as body work goes. The one main rust-out is in the rear seat drivers side lower floor pan, (place where you place your feet only). All other floors are nice, very solid and the floor braces and main and inner rockers are also very solid. The other areas of minor rust-out are in the corner curves of some the doors. The door seams are over all good mainly around the doors, but the common area of dirt pack in between the door curve lower areas are spotted with some pinhole rust-out. Other than that, there is only spotted areas on the lower seam at the tailgate, but the gate is very good overall as shown. The good news is, main body at the wheel houses and inner wells at the gate, are all solid and nice. Front fenders have just minimal spots lower areas to none at all, headlight areas look good. The lower splash front and rear pans are good also. The lower and upper rear station wagon cargo area is great & solid. Roof Drip rails look good also and underneath the drip rear window area. The car has been repainted twice, once green, then midnight blue, over the original solid color cream-white body. Copper tri-color interior and trim that has been repainted brown in the trim areas. The main body paint in midnight blue is faded and patina'd a lot with many chips, dings, & scratches. There is some bondo in some areas as noted, but the norm for a minor redo back in the 70's (est.) when it was last painted. No bondo in rockers or fender tops or anything like that. Exterior Chrome: Is micro pitted and ocean stained. Still okay driver quality all re-chromeable good. Stainless Trim is all there, but for 1 Piece! One 4" upper straight piece above the drivers side tail light. A few pieces are not currently fitted but I have them. These are one front fender headlight brow drivers upper, one side long drivers rear quarter trim, one drivers outer curved at taillight. Glass: is all great and original eze-eye including front windshield! Side vent glass has some bubbles but no cracks. All windows operate up and down, doors open & close good as well as tail gate. The power rear window operates good and the switches both work under dash and at rear window shelf. The interior is complete and usable. Radio has antenna but no speaker. Recovered over original seats except for third seat rear is still original with good foam. Door panels have original panels and some covered over partially. Headliner is good and custom done with a panel fit instead of web ring fit. Weather-striping is original and in okay condition as is. Electrical: The car has a new wire loom harness from firewall out to the engine area and headlights, battery, etc. Headlights are high beam low beam and good, front parking lights good. The rear tail lights and brake lights good, blinkers need switch work at steering column. Starter is good ignition is good fires every time, just one pump and touch of the key! Motor: 283 V8 Chevrolet automatic 2 barrel power steering & power brakes. Power steering disconnected due to leaking hose. Steering still works good though. Brakes operate good with many new parts including booster. A little pull right at times might need adjusted. Exhaust ends at mufflers, mid point body. Engine runs very well, had oil changed and fluids. Gas tank was taken out cleaned and redone as shown. Gauge is bad at dash. Transmission shifts good also, we don't know the mileage on these components. As far as taking it out on the highway I would be happy to drive it anywhere. I drove it over 2,000 miles from San Francisco back here a few months ago with no issues. Tires: All new matching Hankooks with less than 1,000 miles on them. Has old school look 5 spoke chrome rims in okay shape, some chrome fade and pits. This car is in my name with a clear title. 1968 Ford Galaxie 500 XL Fastback in beautiful original condition. This Galaxie is as clean underneath as it is on top and it runs and drives without fault. The body is in excellent condition, the paint is very good with just a few minor imperfections as would be expected on a used car. Nothing that detracts from the overall excellent appearance. It is a dark metallic green similar to Clint Eastwoods 72 Ford Torino in the movie Gran Torino. There is no rust, all of the chrome and the glass is in very good shape. The vacuum operated headlamps operate like new. Overall a beautiful looking car. The black interior is in great shape, there are no rips or damage to seats. It has bucket seats and a center console. The dash pad has no cracks, the headliner is perfect. Everything works except for the original radio. Overall a very nice interior with an upmarket feel. The 302 V8 starts and runs just like it did when new. The automatic choke works. It idles smoothly. It has a very nice sound to it like Ford Windsor motors always do. Being a smaller V8 it gets surprisingly good fuel mileage, over 20 mpg is easily achievable and it has plenty of power & torque. The automatic transmission shifts very smoothly through all of the gears. The 9 inch rear end is nice and quiet with a well suited ratio. It has new brake lines, brake hoses, master cylinder, rotors, pads and linings. It has the rare factory option of power disc brakes. It stops much better than many cars of this era. The power steering is light and precise. This car is ready to be enjoyed and driven anywhere. Very well maintained. The new American racing wheels with new tires that are shown in the photos are available for an extra $1,000 otherwise it comes with the stock rims and the original Shelby style hub caps also with new tires. Spare tire has never been used! A/C and heat work great. Has a oil pan heater install (since we live in North Dakota that is a must). Barn Find: Up for bid is a "Commemorative Edition" 1985 Cadillac Coupe. One of only a few Eldorado coupes produced in 1985 with the gold commemorative package. How many still are around, if any, I am not sure. She was a Sunday driver and came from the estate of a local businessman who passed away several years back. This vintage Caddy starts and runs well(could use a complete tuneup) but the brakes are a little spongy from sitting and the "Brake Warning" light stays on when driving. It has climate control but does not blow cold when turned on. She needs a new owner to restore her back to her original elegance that she had when she left the Linden NJ plant in 1985. This car is a great investment considering its truly "One of a Kind" factory order and modification makeup ranging from the Hood Mascot and Chrome Wings, Rolls Front Valence Piece, Fender Side Pipes and Step Boards, Scripted Glass/Taillights, Continental Spare Tire Kit, the ASC conversion Sunroof, Phaetom Style Rear Roof with Gold Accents... This beautiful CANADIAN 1968 2+2 Convertible is a rare beauty. Only 742 were made of this vehicle type, less in convertibles.More over, we have had this one since new. YES!
