1981 Volkswagen diesel pick up Second owner –purchased in 2011 with 114,000 miles –current mileage is 135,752. Over 7000 in receipts for just mechanicals including a professionally rebuilt engine, new head, professionally rebuilt injection pump, injectors tested and rebuilt if needed. Too many new parts to list but this truck is our shop driver from March-January our until the snow falls. We do not drive this in the winter. It has been professionally painted –not an original color. With rear roll pan (bolt on) and shaved front bumper. Any body changes are bolt on -reversible. Interior is in excellent condition –original. Sound system is changed using the original front speaker location but upgraded speakers, and adding a set of 6 inch speakers in the rear. We have the original dealer owner’s manual and sales flyer. Our goal with the truck was to keep and changes reversible and keep all the mechanical stock .
