RARE! 1971 GMC Sprint. I took this car in trade for monies owed to me. I am told the engine is a 305. The actual miles are unknown but the non-working odometer shows over 50k. I picked it up in Colorado and just drove it home to Northern Utah in which I drove it for over 600 miles and 15 hours... it ran quite well without any problems. I am not knowledgeable about this car or cars & mechanics in general so I have copied some of the info I found online about this car here as follows: "The GMC Sprint is a Chevy El Camino with different badges, while the El Camino itself is mostly a Malibu wagon with the last 2/3rds of the roof sliced off. The GMC Sprint is a rare beast indeed, with only about 5500 built in 1971." My mechanic eyed the car and said it needs new belts and the speedometer cable replaced and the windshield wipers need repaired. Also, the driver side door will not open from the inside so I roll down the window and open it from the outside. My mechanic bid the repair of the speedometer and the door handle at $185.00. There are two spare tires and a jack that goes with the vehicle. The pics tell the rest as far as condition. Let me know if there are any questions and I will do my best to answer them. The Low NADA bluebook is $4475. The sale is final and no refund of the monies will be allowed so you will need to make sure you look at the pics and also ask any and all questions you may have upfront before bidding! DELIVERY OPTION: My son works for the airlines so I am able to fly standby for free... thus I am willing to offer as one option, that I will drive the car to you for $1.10 per mile from my home to your delivery point which includes gas. You will need to drop me at the nearest major airport to you as part of the deal. The miles we will go by in such case will be the google map miles shown when we dial up the directions and that money will need to be paid in advance along with the vehicle purchase if you should choose this option and of course is non-refundable. You are also welcome to pick the Sprint up here at my home in Pleasant View Utah or arrange a shipping company to come pick it up for you.
