Selling our 1988 Mustang GT Hatchback. Two-tone exterior, cabernet red / silver, gray cloth interior. According to various sites, there were 50,282 total GT hatchbacks produced in 1988. This is one of 6,511 that were cabernet red. This car is equipped with an automatic transmission, power windows, power locks, cruise control, etc. This car extremely clean inside and out. It does get driven to Mustang shows / events, but has been very well preserved. It is completely original, except that a previous owner replaced the mufflers. They are a little louder than stock, but are not as aggressive as Flowmasters. Other than the mufflers, it is untouched. This car has right at 33,015 original miles (can be verified on AutoCheck). Always garaged, never driven in rain or snow. Please feel free to contact me if you would like any additional information / pictures. Thank you.

DESCRIPTION:
Up for sale is our 1990 Limited Edition "7-UP" Mustang LX Convertible. These are typically considered Fords "official" 25th Anniversary Mustang models. The car is very well preserved and is virtually all original. The mufflers were replaced less than 2 months ago with some OEM style that are a little louder than stock, but not as aggressive as Flowmasters. It has less than 61,580 original miles. Has always been stored in a climate controlled garage and never driven in inclement weather. This car has been driven to various Mustang shows, so it does have a few very small nicks here and there. There is a light scratch on the passenger fender, just in front of the fuel filler door. The vent surround on the drivers side has a crack in it. One of the center vents is broken in one of the pictures. I have located a replacement from another 90 7-UP Mustang and will install and will post an updated picture. A little background on these "7-UP" Mustangs in case you arent already aware. 7-UP had planned on giving away 30 Mustang LX convertibles, all painted Deep Emerald Green, in a contest at the 1990 NCAA basketball finals. The contest ended up being cancelled at the last minute. Ford planned on building 5,000 of these, but a total of 4,103 were produced, of those, 2,743 were automatics. Some of the features which differentiated these from the other Mustang models were the limited Deep Emerald Green paint (code PA); color-keyed body side moldings, bumper moldings, and side mirrors; white leather interior; and a white convertible top. They also came with the 15" GT aluminum wheels. We have owned this car for a number of years. We simply need to sell it for storage space for another car weve just acquired. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like any additional information and / or pictures.
