The original 455 cubic inch high output V8 engine is coupled with the GM TH400 “Turbo 400” heavy duty automatic transmission. Both have been rebuilt. Factory Air-Conditioned car, all components of that system have been rebuilt or replaced. The AC “blows cold” as they say. Mileage in the dash post-restoration shows only 421 miles. The S-Type is a stunningly beautiful classic Jaguar style. This color is a beautiful light blue, or silvery-blue called Zircon, with a light gray leather interior. Car has been well maintained & has had regular oil changes. We are the 2nd owner & have owned this car for about 5 years, drive it regularly, but not very far, so it only has 64,710 original miles. This Jag has plenty of years ahead of it. Tires were new at 45k miles, new looking, & are high-end Continental tires we paid $275 each for. They are 80,000 mile tires, so they too have plenty of years to go. This car has no known issues except a rearview that fell down & was repaired by a shop that didn't do the cleanest job (some excess glue). This was a year ago and it's been ok, but if you want it perfect you could replace it & have a shop who specializes in this work do it. This would be easy to miss & not even noticed upon inspection, but I want no disappointments. BTW, an OEM replacement mirror, if ever needed, runs $75 on ebay with free shipping. We had our Jaguar shop update firmwear 2 weeks ago & run full diagnostics (cost $100) to be sure everything was fine, so we could have confidence as the seller & accurately represent car. He said everything checks out fine & "This Jag has no problems". This diagnosis eliminates most potential problems & any current problems. Car has current inspection, clear title, and perfectly clean Carfax report. Exterior is 99% and interior is clean with very little noticeable wear. To be clear- This is NOT a Road Runner. I have all of the parts to make it indistinguishable from a true Road Runner. To be clear- This is a project car. It is apart in order to be painted. There are two parts cars that go with the Satellite. *- Factory A/C. I have the piece of trim that goes between the two passenger side dash vents with the Road Runner emblem. *- The car has two AMD full quarter panels installed along with right and left trunk extensions. These are the pieces that extend from the trunk pan outward and downward to the bottom of the quarter panel, sealing the trunk from beneath. *- 2 new AMD wheelhouses that have yet to be installed. *- The car is Hemi Orange with a black vinyl top. *- There is an extra trunk lid in excellent condition. *- There is the original Satellite hood that can be made into an Air Grabber with readily available parts. *- I have a solid steel original Road Runner hood for the car as well. *- The front and rear bumpers are rechromed and in the original paper as when bought. *- There is extra front suspension and K-member that has been powdercoated and awaits installation once the car is painted. *- New Legendary bucket seat and rear passenger seat covers that are black with orange inserts- new in box. *- New Legendary vinyl top-New in Box. *- Several consoles, grill's, tail light assemblies. *- 400 engine to be rebuilt. *- 727 Torqueflite transmission to be rebuilt. *- Car is originally a bench seat, auto on column car, but one of the parts cars is a bucket seat/ auto on floor/ rally dash/ am-fm radio/ dual speaker/ rear defroster car that has all needed parts to make the interior in good condition. *- Rally wheels. *- Magnum wheels. *- All tinted glass in good condition. *- Brand new door hinges, uppers and lowers. The car is COMPLETELY apart in order to be painted in true MOPAR fashion- as a whole. The roof has some pinholes from the factory vinyl top that was allowed to trap moisture before I got the car and removed it. The structure is fine and can be easily fixed. It is in no way a major issue. It is however, the only issue with the body. This car deserves to be put together and driven. I cannot finish the car anytime soon and I would rather see it go than to go to waste. The two parts cars are 1971 and 1973 Dodge Chargers. The 71 is basically a stripped shell with with no fenders or hood and a dash. It does , however, contain bolts and screws and miscellaneous parts. The '73 is complete and was once a fine car until Ohio road salt rusted it from the inside out... It's only use now is to help restore a fine car back to its former glory. I'm interested in moving this car. If you really want the car, contact me. That being said, I'm losing SUBSTANTIALLY at 3K and there isnt much room. I could have set a higher price, but I dont wanna play... I just wanna sell a car. Both fenders had rust in the lower parts behind the wheels, caused by the failure of the plastic splash guards that go between the fender and the firewall structure. They allowed dirt, rock and water to gather partucularly around the inner support. the holes were removed and I made patches out of sheetmetal but never had a chance to burn them in. The inner support was completely undamaged. The inside of the fenders were treated with POR 15 and will NOT rust anymore. Two small patches per side and then treat the new metal for a set of fenders that will last a lifetime. This car is 42 years old but had MINIMAL rust. The rust in the quarters was at the bottom of the front and back of the wheelwell arch. I could have put in patches but I was doing this car to suit myself and I wanted the new quarters that AMD had just released. I was told that I was the 2nd guy in America to get the full quarters. I gotta say, hats off to AMD. Theses things were a perfect fit and are made of good stuff. The frame and floorboards are solid. The rust in the fenders is not much more than a nuisance. This car is to the point that one could buy it and enjoy it cause the hard work has been done to it- done with the pride of someone who was doing it for himself. I have at least two grills for it. They are 72 Satellite grills. As valuable as a 72 RR grill is, and as terrible as the deer population in this part of the country is, I never considered buying one. The quarters and trunk extensions, not including the cost of installation, 2 wheelhouses, door hinges, seat covers, vinyl top, and bumpers(ALL NEW), will cover the asking price- Not counting the actual price of the car itself!!!
