2003 Volvo XC70 Wagon. 258,770 miles. NEW all weather tires purchased end of December 2013 from SEARS. Look at pics. This car is in running working condition. I would say by KBB standards it is in fair condition. The engine runs fine. Check engine light is on but it goes on and off intermittently with no rhyme or reason. Has not affected the running of the car so I have not gotten it fixed. A while back it was checked and I was told it was an old code and possibly an oxygen filter(?). I have found this car to be very reliable. I have gone on 400 mile round trip journeys as recently as last weekend. I have no problem putting my precious 4 year old in this car. It is very safe and reliable. I have been told by my oil change guy that the right front strut is leaking. Minor things that you might expect from a car of this age and mileage.....Alarm has been disabled (it would go off every 5 minutes by itself. The fuse has been removed), front cowling repaired with zip ties and the arm rest hinge his broken. The rest is normal wear and tear. It really is a nice looking and running vehicle but I must be honest about these things. I have had the oil changed religiously every 3 to 4 thousand miles and used Lucas Engine Treatment every other oil change. The instrument cluster was replaced last summer and it took 100,000 miles off the odometer on the dash. The car got new plugs and coils last month (Oct 2014). New windshield and left passenger windows last summer. I have listed the things I know about. This car has had 2 owners - my father and then me. Mostly highway miles. A good car still. Needs some love. Or you can make a killing by parting it out. You can pick it up or arrange for a transport company to pick it up for you. Must be paid in full prior to picking up. Cash.
