This auction is for a 1971 Plymouth Valiant 225ci 3.7L slant 6 w 103,000mi, the car starts and runs, fresh oil change, body and pans are very solid the small rust it did have, has been mig weld patched. The seats are shot and need recovered and the car will need paint to be pretty again. Dash has a crack. Montgomery Ward A/C needs updated to 134a and recharged. Radio doesn't work. I have new cheap black non-fitted carpet to go with the car. The tires look okay, good tread but I don't know how old they are, I remember it could use a new pair of brake shoes soon forget if it was front or rear getting low. I drove this car home when I bought it, about 35miles with no problems in fall 2011, it has been in a garage since. Car does seem to run hot but, I haven't really got to drive it on the road or troubleshoot it, I read up on some forums and was going to get it a modern aluminum radiator and electric fan they run about $180 here online. I love the way this car looks and it would make a great classic driver. Perfect start to making a classic your own. Please contact me with any questions. The truck starts and runs great, 4x4 works great, plow goes up and down, all seems to work. Pretty solid truck all rust repair was done Mig with steel, some JB weld, No Putty. Solid bed and cab mounts. Underside and frame has been brushed and undercoated. The outside of the truck has been covered in Herculiner and I have a new Herculiner kit to go with the truck to finish the inside of the bed and anything else. The truck has a new battery, fresh oil and filter n air filter and the tires have nearly new tread still on them. I have the tailgate but it is rusty, A good Century fiberglass cap, Lund visor and plastic bedliner go with the truck as well. Drivers door handle is a bit broken can still open n close it, have to slam door for it to close fully. Was last inspected and on the road in 2012. I would drive it anywhere, I believe it will pass inspection I just don't wanna pay for a plate and registration just to turn around and sell it. The passenger cab corner repair was quick and doesn't look that great about 4" and drivers floor a crude plate was put in but, solid n does the job, rear leaf spring shackles were patched over for support in the inside looks rough but more solid then is was; that's pretty much the worst about the truck.
